[Lich] Kel'Thuzad Abuse Report

I was playing on the server and I had offered a player an item,
who happily accepted the offer and was very pleased I had given
it to them.
Kel'Thuzad had told me not to give out free items, and I simply
took this as a legitimate thing and figured I should listen.
After quite some time of just doing me, I had peeked at chat,
and Kel'Thuzad was informing another player about it at the
time.
I was curious, so I quickly "/rules'd" and had seen that it was
not listed. That made me even more curious so I decided to look
at the server's Steam group and had noticed it was not listen
anywhere there either. I had seen a link to the forums and
fallowed it. I used the search feature, entered "Rules" and hit
search. This gave me no results for a general rules list.
I confronted this staff member and they quickly got angry.
Immediately after I asked where it specifically said that there
is no giving of free items, he Permamuted me. After a short time
he unmuted me, and I asked agian, this time, I was angry as
well. I had told him agian, that I've looked at all three of my
available sources and none of which said anything of a "No free
items" rule. He said "Fine, stay muted" and of course,
permamuted me again. When he unmuted me, I told him I would be
making a report about his behavior, and he gave me a stiff "Oh
no."

Hiponism, you pestered me about a rule that I have no control
over and argued with me. All i was doing was resolving a
situation with DJ Binx, and you made the situation worse so i
muted you. If you had say, notified me that the rule wasn't on
the forums or /rules and didn't repeat over and over that the
rule is non-existent and if you hadn't been plain obnoxious and
rude, then i could've solved the problem with Dj and i wouldn't
have had to mute you while i spoke to him.

HiponotismHD, you are unfortunately in the wrong, you may have
thought you caught a staff member breaking a rule, but sorry to
say you deserved being muted, you and Djbinx2 were instigating
staff members, causing trouble and even forced a Super Admin
(me) to intervene, when something escalates to that you should
have noticed right there and then that you messed up.
1. Giving away free items is not listed, nor should it have to
be, it's a common thing.
2. Even if it's not listed, listen to staff members regardless.
3. Do not purposely antagonize staff members.
We do our job and we don't enforce unnecessary rules, we listen
to the owner (Nalah) and obey her words, if a staff member had
unknowingly went against her word, it would've resulted in a SA
or Nalah confronting that staff member, however that is not the
case, since no staff members have done anything wrong, telling
you to shut up is probably the worse thing they did, which even
that wasn't too bad considering you were antagonizing him.
If you have an issue with the rules of this server, take it up
with Nalah, she's not so tolerant about instigating
know-it-all's.

All of you are at fault here.
A few things to mention.. Firstly, there are in-game rules
listed on the forum in the "Help & Support" section. You can
find them here

This list does NOT include the no free items rule, because that
rule is subject to circumstance. NTS is not a free item server
and is not listed as such. Free item servers usually state that
they have free items.
However, there are occasions where giving out a FEW items is
okay. If you give one item to one person, that's fine. The rule
comes into play when someone comes on and starts handing out a
ton of stuff or dropping loot everywhere.
Snow is aware that he could have handled this situation better,
and he has learned his lesson. I understand that you would get
angry for being muted, but even if a rule is not listed, you
should not try to challenge what a staff member is telling you
about rules.
I appreciate you making this report, and I hope that one
misunderstanding will not tarnish your perception of my server
forever.
If I had been online at the time, I would have quickly informed
you of the above information and I'm sure we could have avoided
any unpleasantness, but I'm sorry that I wasn't.
I hope that you will return sometime :)

Side note: I will update the rule list to include the
information about free items, to hopefully eliminate this from
happening again.
