A problem!

Hello, I am having a problem whit Terraria. The problem is,
sometimes when i want to run Terraria i get a message saying
"Please launch the game from your steam client". I tried many
ways to get it working but it doesn't. Whats making this error
pop up sometimes?
I hope you guys help me out here and thanks ! :D

It is some bullshit in terraria X steam communication.
1. Restart steam try launching the game again
2. If it still doesn't work, restart computer and try launching
again
3. If that still doesn't work, reinstall the game. Don't worry
your saves will be saved as they are in Documents, not in the
terraria folder
Reinstalling the game will work always, but no need to bother
with that until you tried option 1 and 2

This always used to happen to me. What you do, is simply open
Steam, Library>Games>Terraria>Play Game. If you always open
Terraria from your taskbar, then that's the problem, because you
are not launching it directly from your Steam Client.

Actually, that's not quite true. The icon in the taskbar
contains a URL which looks sorta like this
steam://rungameid/49520
This type of URL gets caught by steam when you use it anywhere.
You can even try it in a webbrowser. Steam then directly runs
the game.
However if you created the icon manually by going over to
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria and making an
icon to the Terraria.exe, then yes, you are not launching it
from steam, which will throw the exception

Thank you guys! :D I did know that i have to restart my
computer but it gets annoying, so i thought i did something bad
to my game, but apparently not.
