Also, Read in between the lines. You're not paying attention. So
I will assume you are just a child with little to no
understanding of the world or how to read things.

There are multiple reasons why player/staff are not available
during different days and I shall list down reasons why in my
opinion.
1.Time zone
- Some players or staff join NTS with different time zone
depending on their current location thus its quite hard to pin
point what time zone that person joins.
2.School
- Most people who join the server are students who pass the time
here in NTS, some may range to grade 6 or younger and some may
range to grade 12 or collage level so in theory they may be
focusing more on studies and friends.
*With this in mind, When I joined NTS I already assumed that
when school starts most of them will focus on studies or other
stuff, which is understandable*
3.Other Games
- Most (but not all) of us also would like to play different
games from time to time. With may games being released and many
things to try its not unusual for players to try them out and
give them a go.
4.Work
- A few of us (player/staff) are older than some, and most of us
have actual work to do. Keep in mind that each day that passes
by we grow older and become a bit wiser than before. (Some *but
not all* staff in NTS are actually older than you think)
5.Peak and Fall on server
- So with school going on its not unusual that players on the
server gets a bit less and less populated from time to time. If
you want the server to be filled with players I would suggest
waiting for a long weekend or seasonal breaks, that way the
server (in theory) will be filled with old or new players by
then.
6.No chains for us
- NTS is a server for everyone to enjoy, we are public so anyone
can come and go as they want, the only thing we player/staff can
do is to make it memorable for both old and new players alike so
that when a player/staff decides to leave they will keep in mind
"Wow, its sad to leave but It sure was fun". We don't bound
people in chains here to prevent them from leaving, but instead
we leave them a great impression that will remember us.
7. Other reasons
- Some player/staff will always have different reasons, either
family issues or something different we do not know. But one
thing we know is that there is a reason.
These are all I can think of with this thread and I do hope that
in the future you will remember this reasons.
And also for the ranking issues, please do not make any thread
or topics about how to gain them and why you should deserve
them(other than applying for staff application). This website
has a forum for each rank and their responsibilities and please
take your time to read them. Remember that ranks does not make
you a better person, its just a title placed beside your
original username. What you do for the server is what really
matters around here no matter what rank/staff or position you
may sit.

Right now a new plugin may also be to blame. I haven't been able
to join because during the loading screen I get the message
"Your name cannot contain these characters:". apparently space
and _ are banned from names now, which significantly reduces the
amount of players able to play. And please tell me I'm not the
only one having this problem.

That plugin was removed 5 minutes after you told me you couldn't
login.
