Long Absence

I will be MIA for many months. My job is requiring more from me
and I will be less and less seen on the server. All of you are
young, make the most of your time you have. Soon you all will be
focusing on your job and your life. The server isn't forever
don't be surprised when the server officially closes, hosting
the server has and always be for fun and hope you guys are
enjoying it as well, but we all have a life. However the
community and friends built are. The proof is in the steam
group. Many members of which Nalah is also friend's with on
steam. We can have 30+ votes per day just like that if she
asked, even though they don't play anymore.
Nalah and I played terraria on my private map for a couple weeks
before she re-opened the server. Came as a surprise to me when
she said she hosted one and as well as having a solid player
base. Honestly believed we wouldn't get to where we are today,
but reading the comments in the steam group and on her steam
profile showed many people wanted the server back when she first
closed it long ago. At first I was only here to play with Nalah,
after a few weeks was when I actually started caring for the
server and the players, and treating many of you like family. I
doubt the server will close for a long time. Even if we lose
player activity on the server, I imagine you will still find us
on the server at times doing and building things like before the
server re-opened.
Always be welcoming to new players, give them a chance to change
their attitudes. Don't take things to heart easily, and know
when your going to far and stop. Don't ever take anything we do
or say on the server and repeat it. Weh ave our bad days and
moments. Always abide what is written in the rules. I am
mentioning this because I have seen people tell others "No
Caps". Don't just help new players register. Show them around,
help them find a spot to build, get building mats for them.
The votes have been tremendous in September, many people voting
every day. Remember to vote using your steam login by clicking
the green button, I know it can be an inconvenience, but a past
event showed us a server can be easily sent fake votes and be
accused for it. Use the same nickname if you choose the nickname
option. Front page is all tha matters. We are our own little
community, don't worry about other servers. Would be stupid to
even think a server is in competition with another server, this
isn't MLG lol. Neither will our life revolve around a game.
You all take care of each other. Promotions were made. The new
map for October will be up asap, few problems with Tedit so no
guarantee builds will be able to get transferred.
