You'll see at least a 2x performance improvement, if not 3x or
       better depending on what games you play and on what settings;
Terraria will give you no issues whatsoever. 16GB of RAM is
higher than most people need unless you do a heavy amount of
multimedia work (photo/video editing, CADD, and the like). Win10
needs a good amount of setup when you first start using it, but
I prefer it over Vista and 8.1 any day.

Have you considered the fact that the processor is .20 GHz
slower than your current build? In theory, that laptop will
barely run Skyrim, much less any new games.

thats not strictly true, i know this guys with an intel core
13-2100 1.6ghz, and an nvidia 880m with 4gb of ram, and he can
play crysis 3 at 1366x768 at 60fps capped.

Without going too much into the details, despite having a lower
clock frequency, the i7 is still gonna pack more punch. Also
have to take the entire set of specs into account, especially
considering how big a leap most of the other components are in
comparison. Her GPU was originally released in 2006, apparently.
       Long overdue for an upgrade.
Some details on 5th Gen Intel Processors. The laptop likely has
       the 5500U:

I also like to use this site to compare processors, and their
related sites for GPUs and SSDs:
