NTS was built on kindness..

I've been hearing reports of new players being made to feel
unwelcome by VIP's and other Staff ranks.
This is absolutely unacceptable.
My server was built on kindness, and I will not allow you to
destroy that.
A few things I would like to point out..
Your property
If you build something, it does not give you the right to
exclude other players from being in that area to admire your
build or just hang out. There is NO reason why you should be
telling people to get out of your house. It's just plain rude.
You need to realize that not everyone has malicious intentions
when visiting your building. Most times, they are simply
discovering the map and checking out the cool buildings.
During the process of building, if someone is bothering you, you
may ask them to leave NICELY. When I say bothering you, I mean
that they are getting in the way of placing blocks, griefing, or
spamming weapons. If they are just standing around watching, I
don't see a reason for you to tell them to leave.
Your friends
Many of you have developed sort of clique'esque groups that
exclude other players from joining in a discussion or event,
simply because they are new and/or not a part of your circle.
This is not highschool and this will not be tolerated. You
should be treating everyone the same, and not ignoring or
belittling new players just because they are new.
Your ego
Simply put, drop the ego. Having a rank does NOT make you better
than ANYONE. Just because you have the rank of VIP or Moderator
or something, that does not put you above any other players. You
may have more authority, but it doesn't give you the right to
act like you are above speaking to people or helping them.
