It is time to try something new on the forums. I will be
posting instrumental songs; sometimes classical music, sometimes
not; and I am wondering what you would visualize when you hear
the song. I am not asking for a video or something that you
have seen, I am asking what YOU see when you hear the musical
piece.
Our first piece of music will be Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

For the Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, this is what I visualize
in my mind while the song goes on.
0:00 - 05:48 I visualize a post apocalyptic town that was ruined
by bombs due to war, as the song goes on I see a little girl
walking around the streets looking for something to eat and
clothes to wear to combat the cold, while searching through the
rubble on the streets she catches a glance of a few dead bodies
(About 7-8 months old) that was a cost of the bombing, but she
just took a little look knowing she had seen it before and had
grew accustom to it. While continuing to search for food and
clothes a family photo on the second floor got blown by the wind
and slowly landed near her. She noticed the photo and looked at
it seeing her family smiling together in front of the camera.
She then had flashbacks of that day where it all began, houses
burning, chaos and suffering everywhere due to war, seeing her
parents sacrificing their life to save her and her little
brother from the flames of their home. She then let out a small
tear on her eyes but quickly wiped it off knowing that she needs
to be strong for both her and her little brother. She then kept
the photo in her pocket while her little brother walked behind
her and asked "what's wrong sis?", she replied "It's nothing to
worry about little brother" with a smile on her face knowing
they are strong to face what's ahead of them.
06:00 - 08:03 I visualize this part as a guy trying to court his
love in a carnival, as they explore the carnival he tries to
impress her by playing all the manly games in the park, he tried
the "test your might" game and the bar only went through half
the pole, she giggled a bit, he then tried the toss ring game
and clumsily tripped over and knocked all the bottles. He then
tried the arm wrestling game and failed to even budge the
machine, while all this the girl was happily giggling and
smiling at him saying "go get them tiger". The boy got tired
and slowly losing hope , he then caught her looking at a prized
teddy bear on the shooting gallery near them and looked away. He
then said to himself "I know its already over.. but one more
time". He then paid and grab the toy rifle and aimed it
carefully at the bear, this time he managed to shoot the bear at
a certain spot and dropped it. He then tap her on the shoulder
and surprised her with the bear saying "I'm sorry that i
couldn't get every prize, but I hope this will do", she then
blushed a bit and pulled the guy closer to her whispering "you
really do know how to make a girl happy" and gently kissed him.
She pulled away seeing him in a stunned and dumbfounded look and
giggled, she added "well, lets enjoy the rest of the carnival
shall we?" and then grabbed his hand and walked slowly to the
rest of the carnival.
08:06 - 15:00 I'm visualizing those silent films back in the
1900's era, I'm visualizing a bunch of criminal kidnapping this
guys woman in a funny old style car (1900's era style if you can
visualize it) and as the song progresses I see the guy doing
funny things like while trying to run and catch the car he also
tries to dodge falling anvil's, piano hanging from a building
and suddenly falling, catching a cab and telling the driver to
follow them, while driving around the city he shouted to the
officer he saw along the road that they are trying to save his
girl, the police man then called back-up in the old phone and
brought more men and more batons in a comical funny way, they
chased the crooks until it lead to a dead end. Then everyone got
into a fight (The old fashion fist fight from the old silent
films) after each side exited their cars, the guy went straight
to the main boss and tried to fight it. He wins in the end and
it ended with the girl kissing the guy in the cheeks (then the
song ends there).
There is a lot more I can visualize with each song but these
came into my mind first.
But for the "Instrumental Patient by the Arkhams" video, it
seems I cant see it because it was "Unavailable" for some
reason. From the 3 music in that Beethhoven video, I loved the
last one since its a classic song to me and I did grew fond to
silent films back then, so it came to a matter of nostalgia to
me.

It is rather delightful that somebody actually responded at all,
let alone something coherent.
For today's sampling of instrumental music, I bring to you Led

I'll start off again. For Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven this
is what I visualize:
I visualize a man about in his mid 30's sitting on a park bench
strumming the guitar gently and softly while people are are
passing by him. The peoples movement are fast forwarded but
leaves the man playing the guitar on a normal speed (Like when
everything on the background moves so fast like it was set on
fast forward and blurred a bit while the main focus stays
normal). While playing the guitar few flash backs appear from
time to time. He flashes to his childhood, about his dad and mom
on a park hand in hand with him walking along for a stroll, then
the flash back ends and its on the him again still strumming the
guitar. Another flash back appears, this time its his high
school. He remembers everything there, he's best friends
argument and make up, his school field trip everywhere, his
first kiss, and the mistakes he made as a teenager. The flash
back dissipates again focusing on the man strumming, he seems to
smile a little bit now, then the flash back goes back and now
its his adult life. He remembers the day he and his girlfriend
got married, had kids, bought a house and when his girl
delivered their first born child (a girl) were he cuddles the
kid in his arms with the mother. Then the flash back forwards to
the kid growing, playing on the park with her mom and him, the
two couple smiled as they see their little girl run ahead of
them with joy saying "come on mom and dad! we'll miss the birds
on the park" then the flash back ends and on the guy strumming
the guitar. At 5:58 another flash back appears, this time its
about him and his wife arguing about something, both of them
shouting loudly at each other, as they were about to release one
more shout to each other the little girl said "mommy .. daddy..
please stop". Both of them stopped and looked at their baby girl
scared and crying, the two couple apologized to the little girl
and hugged her and while doing so the guy whispered to his wife
and said "I'm sorry dear", the wife replied "I'm sorry too". the
flash back ends and went back to the guy strumming the guitar,
then another flash back appears, this time their little girl
grown up to a fine adult, getting married while he and his wife
are sitting on the front seat of the church on the wedding
ceremony (While the father is glaring at his baby's future
husband as a father instincts). Then it slowly fast forwarded to
the girl having kids and visiting them at their home(Mom and
dad's place). Then it pans far to the future where in a porch
sits a old man (Him) and his wife, old by age smiling at the
horizon happily as they saw their grand child all grown up. The
flash backs ends with the guy smiling , then slowly fades away
from the background only to vanish from the bench (were the song
ends).

That certainly is quite the descriptive and vivid bit of imagery
that the song has brought forth. Quite the story that each song
tells, one that changes and evolves with each person that listen
to it. For the next story, I bring to you Chopin's Etude in E
Major.
