So, as some of you may know, I'm a respected member of Nalah's
server, I have much experience with issues people come to me
with, and I help solve them however I can.
But being a part of the Server Staff means having to know what's
right and wrong and in some cases that's hard, so I have some
advice for those of you who would like to listen.
Say a hacker comes on, and there's no way for you to ban them,
and they have a dynamic IP.
The best way to deal with this hacker, is to inform someone with
experience or simply ask them politely to stop, if they do not
comply then ask for some help.
If there's a player who is upset and is being rude, do not
simply ban them or kick them instantly, find out why first and
then think of your next action, sometimes the one who is being
rude is the victim.
Sometimes there's just nothing you can do because people don't
want to listen, so just give them a warning and if they still
don't listen, mute them, give them a few minutes then unmute
them and ask if they're willing to cooperate, if they are
persistent on causing trouble, kick them and don't forget to
write a reason why you kicked them, when they come back ask once
more and if they're still unwilling to comply, ban them for 24
hours and inform Nalah or one of the Super-Admin's about what
happened.
Now I know some of you may get hot tempered when dealing with
these types of people, but it's better to just keep calm and
collected, and not let them rattle you, if they succeed in
getting under your skin then they've won and they will know it,
and it'll fuel them even more.
In my experience, it's best to just ask what'd be the best
course of action, and as you get more used to it, you won't need
anymore help, but don't think asking for help once in a while
hurts your chances, because it's the complete opposite, it means
you're willing to learn and thrive on this server.
I have to thank Nalah and the Super-Admin's for where I stand
right now, and I hope my advice helped you.
Thank you for reading.
