Taking a "Break"

I don't know where to start. So recently I found out one of my
good friends have passed away. We moved away so I never got to
say goodbye. It has hit me hard where all I want to do is cry. I
can barely pay attention in class where the teacher calls out my
name and I have to walk outside ignoring her. I feel like crap
don't know whether I should do anything anymore. I question
myself now that is our lives meaningless? I am not suicidal nor
do I think I ever will be but I am in a lot of pain right now.
Those of you that try to comfort me I thank you ahead of time
because I will be taking a "break". I do care for the server and
my responsibility for the server but I can find the strength to
stay on the server more than 5 minutes. I will miss you all
dearly for the time I am away. Please do understand why I am
taking a "break" and the pain I am going through.

Hang in there Heat, things will get better. I know it's hard to
deal with right now, but soon it'll get easier. If you need
someone to talk to, I'm here for ya.

Losing someone close to you is always hard. The best thing that
you can do is to surround yourself with people that love you and
support you.
Life is not meaningless. Your friend would not want you to think
that it is.
Celebrate the life that they had and the memories you shared
with them.
Just remember that although he/she may have left this life, they
did not leave your heart.
Keep them there forever and cherish the time you did get to
spend with them.
You may have not had the chance to say goodbye in the flesh, but
they can hear you.
Don't think of it as saying goodbye, just think of it as, you
won't see them for awhile.
That's what I do.

I am very sorry for your loss. I can imagine the pain you are
in. Don't force yourself to come onto NTS, you don't need to if
it is too hard, and I am guessing it would be at the moment. My
advice is to talk to a close friend if you are feeling too bad,
or just think about your memories with your friend that has
passed.

I am deeply sorry for your loss Heat. He/she will most likely
be given a good place for where they are at right now. Life,
even though I doubt it myself, is not meaningless. It is a
story. The moment you are born is the start of your story. All
the events that happen are part of your story, whether it be
joyous, or tragic. Think of this as a major event, but also
know that it will not be the end for you or for him/her. As
long as you retain the memories of your good friend, they will
forever be enveloped in your heart and soul, and they will also
keep memories of you in their place. This, would be the
ultimate form of friendly love. Keep your head high and stay
strong, my friend.
