Sacrifice

Who or what would you sacrifice if it were to mean achieving
your deepest and truest desires? It does not matter what it may
be, how unrealistic or impossible it is. If it can be made real
with a sacrifice, how much would you pay for it? Or would you
simply refuse to pay?

I would pay up to 10,000$ to achieve my desire. I could also
sacrifice my love of books, which is actually something that
matters to me quite a bit. ._.

There we go. That is more of an answer that I was looking for.
Paying the equivalent of a mid range car isn't much of a
sacrifice, but giving up your love of books certainly would be.

If I could get the one thing I desire...and the only way to do
it would be by destroying the planet, I'd do it, because I'd
save the planet.
I want the ability to control time, to rewind and fast forward,
and especially to stop but be able to keep a bubble around me
and my special lady, so we could make a single moment last for
however long we want, probably until one of us has to use the
little time travelers room.

I don't usually think of money as the most important thing in
the world. You could be the richest person in the world, but you
wouldn't have certain talents/other skills that others have. I
really don't see too much value in money, which is why I could
only give up 10K for it. And, when you think about it, 5 out of
7 of the deadly sins can be associated with richness. You will
be proud of all your money, and since you wouldn't need a job,
you're just gonna sit on your ass and **** around (Gluttony).
You will start being mad since you think that your wealth can do
anything, (wrath) and people will envy you and have greed after
your possessions. If you have power, but you don't know how to
use it, people WILL hate you, and might try to rebel against
you.
I don't think money and power is the answer to life's happiness,
so that's why I don't think of it when I'm talking about a
sacrifice.
