2 options, force pvp in the arena, or ban items in the arena.
This is through a plugin, the plugin can do either or.
We can have the plugin force pvp and we enforce banned items in
the arena, or the other way around
as for the red wings. i have an evil plan for that

There are items that're usable that cause just as much lag as
the rod of discord too, and just because you have bad connection
doesn't mean you should take this item away from people, just
ask them to stop if it really does lag you. The scourge of
corruptor causes as much lag as the Rod of discord too, and
that's allowed. And to address Abraxas, I don't think we should
take away red's wings, according to vinyl this is
lag/connestivity issue. I don't see the need to take away red's
wings when it's not causing lag, although you may have your
reasons and that's fine.

Just to clarify "stated reasons above" for you Nomo, it means "a
cheap get away." This means the person can leave the pvp area
anytime they want w/o taking a penalty or heal inside a wall
where a weapon cannot penatrate. In essence, its poor
sportsmanship.

dude the rod doesnt lag me. i get bad ping reguardless of what
you use.
yes its a cheap getaway and hopping across the walls in sectors
is annoying as shit with the ping, as for reds wings...sure why
not ban those from pvp too ill just use my hoverboard/fishron
wings for that purpose of travel.

I have explained before that weapons such as the frost hydra,
blizzard staff and Nettle burst can all go through walls aswell,
and tping into walls leaves them wide open to those kinds of
weapons. Although I do understand the fact that some players try
to abuse the privilege of the Rod of Discord and that upsets me
since I enjoy using it. I suppose to prevent people from tping
into walls you could just make the visible area around the pvp
arena an insta kill region that kills players who enter. while
allowing players to tp out using warps unscathed.
