Gang Story/Biography (Minimium 1,200 words)
The beginning of a bad career
It was in the late 1980’s that the Carter family erupted in
Brooklyn, New York City. At the age of 15, John Carter and his
younger brothers began to mug people and steal cars in order to
get enough food for their family. John soon got influenced by a
black businessman who was the main crime figure in Brooklyn. His
nickname was Spunk, and he hired John as his bodyguard, and as
he grew up, he was given advice on how to run an organization
successfully. John Carter killed his first man at the age of 17,
and his brothers soon followed his example.
A role model
He became a role model for his younger brothers and he became
the family’s head when his father died of cancer. Their
activities increased, and they began to extort minor businesses.
They murdered more than once a week at this point. Smudge,
John’s boss and employer died when John was 25 years old. This
left John and his brothers at the start line again. John was
included in Smudge’s will, leaving him a large amount of money.
John and his brothers travelled to Vietnam, where they had a
contact. The contact got them in touch with a Vietnamese drug
lord which produced 100 percent pure cocaine. They smuggled
hundred kilos of cocaine onto a trading ship. John invited the
rest of his relatives to live with him; cousins. The white
powder was soon found on the street for a cheaper price than the
competition. The cocaine sold rapidly, and they soon had to get
their contact to move more cocaine into the country. John was at
this time 29 years old, and at this point of his life he met
Valerie Roxas, who he married after some months of dating. She
was soon introduced to his actual business once she took the
Carter’s name. and not so long his wife died
Crackdown
In the year 2001 their family business had taken control of the
drug trade in Brooklyn. The Italian mafia noticed this and they
began to attack the family members one after another by sending
street thugs after them. None of the family members was killed
by these attacks, but soon the police department began to sniff
around their businesses. Undercover police officers bought their
drugs, and they would soon enter a period of crackdowns where
their street dealers was arrested and charged. The Carter family
began to get nervous as they sat in their modern homes.
When one of their drug labs was the victim of a police razzia,
they quickly packed their bags, and bought one-way tickets to
Los Santos, San Andreas. The city of Saints. John thought it was
ironic to base his next business ideas there.
