Which you measure the number of users and the number of events
factored into your conversion rate calculation. Of course there
is no single answer to this question. The key criteria for
deciding the length of the period are The measurement period
should be short enough to have time to track the conversion rate
over multiple periods and still have an impact on the business.
The measurement period should be long enough not to be
susceptible to random fluctuations and still capture as many
structural fluctuations as possible. For example many BB sites
have lower traffic on the weekends when their primary users are
away from the Phone Number List

       office. If such websites tracked
conversion rates on a daily basis they would see large swings
that will have nothing to do with the sites actual performance
but simply caused by the difference between weekdays and
       weekends.

Be aligned with sales and product development cycles . For
example if you roll out major design updates once a month it
would be problematic to use an entire quarter as a measurement
period during each period you would measure different new
templates and thus not know which changes really made a
       difference to the conversion rate.
