Steps to starting an Alliance Challenge

First, someone will report on the Rookery that they have the
final item(s) for the challenge. This person is the final
donator (FD).
They should NOT donate the items yet.
Steps to starting the challenge:
1. Determine the start time. Must allow at least TWO hours
notice. Longer than that is always ok. The FD picks the time.
* the rest of these steps can be completed by the FD, or the
Hand *
2. Create a topic in the forum using the challenge name, date
and start time in GMT as the topic title.
3. Put the staggered start time rules in the post like this:

[font=verdana] < 50 - 18:00
50 to 99 - 18:14
100 to 149 - 18:21
150 to 199 - 18:28
> 199 - 18:35[/font]
[font=verdana]4.add the rule about prior winners like
this:[/font]ANYONE PLACING IN THE TOP THREE IN THE LAST TWO
CHALLENGES MUST NOT PLACE IN TOP THREE IN THIS ONE, BUT IS
WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE AND HELP FINISH THE CHALLENGE.

[font=verdana]6. Put a notice in the shout box like this:[/font]

[font=verdana]8. Post up a couple of notices in the rookery an
hour and half hour before the challenge[/font]
[font=verdana]9. Post each start time in the rookery[/font]
[font=verdana]10. Join immediately, and police the standings.
Make sure no heavy hitters are going in early. If you suspect
they are, Winnie, the hitter,and yourself should have a
conversation after the challenge.[/font]

We should have a rule that starting challenges without following
the rules will lead to have your head in a spike

I believe, that rule is already being enforced if the offender
can't convincingly plead innocent.
However there is still a number of people in the Alliance who
don't read the forum and probably they are not only the inactive
ones.
