Tip of the Day

We know that no one in this alliance would EVER finish off
someone else's BOSS (Battle of Sworn Swords) quests, but if you
find yourself adding friends at the beginning of the quest, or
advertising your quest elsewhere, you run the risk of never
seeing or receiving your coin and gear.
To avoid this, you must have that BOSS open when the quest is
finished off by someone else. Here's a good way to make sure
that happens:
- open a new tab in your browser
- log into the game
- open your boss quest
- play your boss quest only in this tab, and do nothing else
there until it is done.
Close the browser tab when the quest is over.
Your actions will be applied to your main game once you collect
coin from your counting house.
As always, would love to hear your feedback.

Do you play on Facebook? Did you know that you can play ad free
on distruptorbeam.com?
The performance is a LOT better, and no annoying side or header
ads.
go to
HTML http://gota.disruptorbeam.com/
provide your facebook email address, and voila, you can resume
play on DB right where you left off.

An absolute basic but not impossible to miss:
When a task is 5 min or less away from completion, you can
finish instantly at no cost. This is a great speed boost in the
very early stages of the game when upgrades take 7 minutes tops
and also helps when farming basic resources in your village
center.
To do this just click the building and select "Speed up". For
hero tasks just click the timer in the sworn sword's picture.

If you are trying to up your power level, you can add a easy 60
points a day by visiting 10 friends, or 1 friend 10 times.
Sending a SS (Sworn Sword) against a 'moderate' challenge
adventure gets you 3 points each time.
Buildings - buying and improving - gets lots of power typically.
Quests and PvP aren't much use if power is your goal. Of course
though, quests give the most coin, and PvP wins and defences are
key to a lot of the bonus goals in the chapters.
DB still hasn't told us what use power is. Right now, the only
thing it affects is who you can run PvP against, unless you use
your friend list. There is a tantalizing promise in the intro
that there will be surprises to come for those that achieve high
power. But, a lot of people have goals set around power: get
into the top 1000, etc..

Are you a total geek? If so, this will interest you:

I found this while digging around to see if there was a way to
track how many pvp wins I had. Every stat about your character
can be found here, like 'num_pvp_wins'! Useless, but
fascinating too!

Sending Sworn Swords on PvP in bulk.
If you - like me - are trying for an Obsidian Dagger (which
requires 400 PvP wins), you probably have noticed that using the
PvP screen or the Keep to initiate PvP missions is pretty
tiresome once you have a relevant number of swords.
Thankfully, there is a slightly quicker way to send them on
missions against friends. Just pick your friend from the friend
tab and open up their profile. Clicking the "Player to Player"
button opens up the panel where you select sword and type of
attack. The advantage is, that after assigning that mission,
your friend's profile will be still open and you can click
Player to Player again, initiating another mission. This one
saves me precious time when sending a big trade delegation to a
single player.

Picking up where Volume 1 left off, the events
of Volume You return the story focus to your noble holdings and

players who have completed the Prologue can access Volume You by
clicking the new banner tab just above the Quest
Beyond the new quests this week’s update

companion and The History of Aegon the Conqueror, a perfect book
for learning to read if you have some time to kill in the
dungeons of Dragonstone.Additional Updates:- Newly formed

have a unique name. In the near future, we will begin requiring

participates in an Alliance Challenge and subsequently leaves
that alliance, they will have to wait for a 24-hour cooldown

facilitate friending and Player-to-Player interactions between
members of an Alliance, clicking on a character portrait or name
from the alliance listing will now display the character profile
for that player.- When viewing the character sheet of another

PtP action toward them.- There is now a small silver cost for
using the Call Banner feature in Player to Player. The cost
scales with level.- Fixed some positioning issues where certain
Alliance menus were appearing too far down the page.- Players
who decline reincarnation when it is first offered will now
still have the option to reincarnate so via their character

see “Reincarnate” as an option instead of simply “Restart.”- To
improve clarity of stats on building upgrades, total bonus is
contributed by an upgrade is displayed as well as for its next
rank. Bonuses for primary stats are no longer displayed in
“relative” terms.- Players entering the Keep for the first time
in a session now correctly see all pages of Sworn Swords.- Fixed
issue where PtP HUD button and Daily News tab were causing the

should no longer appear incorrectly.- Implemented instructional
mouse-over tooltips for each of the Volume tabs in the main

friends in the Facebook version of the game.- Items that had

You are ready to reincarnate and you want to go through it?
Beware!
Don't reincarnate if you are about to claim Gold coins from your
daily login bonus. Reincarnating will reset the count to day 1
setting you back a few days.
That is, if you care about the login bonus - if you don't, just
go ahead and do it, destiny is yours to grab.

If you are assisting someone in their quest and you notice that
the sworn sword you sent to assist is already available
(It say "DONE" underneath him and it means someone has
finished off the quest in which you were assisting), before
clicking on the finished quest button to check out the loot,
send your sworn sord on a long adventure and then go and click
on the quest that you were assisting in before - your sworn
sword will finish adventure instantaniously.

Don't know how long this will work, but it certainly is useful.

I'm afraid, this sounds a lot like bug exploitation which is
most likely a violation of the terms of service. I'd advise
against using this method repeatedly.
