it up to my face a few more times before I felt fully awake,
blinking, I drew in a sharp breath each time the cold water hit
my skin. It felt invigoration and filled me with energy, once
again I splashed my face, bring my hands through my hair slowly
to smooth it back from my face , then stood up right blinking
the droplets of water from my lashes. I was ready for morning
black wine, but first I would go and check on my little fiery
one...I was sure the scouts had staked him out, that loved to
have fun with my captures…a few steps took me to the door of my
hut, reaching up, I pulled my weapons belt from the peg lowering
it down, it was pulled around my waist and girdled there with
leather ties….pushing the belt down to ride low upon my hips,
the twin sleen blades with the native markings brushed against
my outer thighs on either side...pushing my feet into my boots,
the door was pushed open as I stepped out into the day light,
instantly my hand rose to the my brow with a arch of my hand to
shield my eyes from the growing light of day… there were a few
slaves milling about, at the cooking fire making black wine, and
cooking the morning breakfast… I would say my blackwine for now,
sure foot steps took me across the camp towards the stalks and
whipping pole, and stakes.. as I walked up, I could see the
scouts had done a good job on staking you out, pausing just out
of your range of sight, I watched you a few ehns before saying
anything..

tightly but working my wrists and ankles every now and then
tugging at the bonds that held me twisting as well muscles
flexing with the movements as i felt the bonds giving some but
they were well tied and the ropes used very strong. it would
take some time to get loose of them so i tried a different
tactic. trying to curl my arms and bend my legs at the knees i
tugged at the hooks and posts to which the bonds were secured.
keeping muscles flexed pulling and grunting softly but the
ground was solid and the stakes driven deeply into the ground
and they did not budge easily nor did i have the needed leverage
spread out like this. panting a bit now under the hood and
getting mouthfuls of the dust and smell of the hood and
regretting my actions at once. coughing a bit i settled back
laying there and again letting my mind work with plans and ideas
knowing that my strength would be needed and for now i would
conserve it. shifting a bit i tried to get more comfortable
laying as i was but this position was not for comfort it seemed
so i settled once again waiting for someone, anyone to be there
near to me though i could still hear the muffled sounds of
people moving about the area

water bucket, filled with chilled water, I know you were still
be dirty from the morning and all that running from the scouts,
so, the bucket was picked up, in both hands, a few steps It took
me to stand between parted legs, I lifted the bucket drawing
back then let the water fly.. the cold morning water, hit your
chest, and splashed up your body soaking the hood your head was
in… the cold water spreading over your chest dripping down over
the corner of your ribs cage and pooling on you trousers,
seeping down between your legs as the water soaked in.. You
would hear laughter as the startling sensation ebbed, . the
bucket was tossed to the side, the familiar sound of metal on
metal hiss , when the sleen dagger was pulled found the shell of
your ear no doubt when I moved to the head of you and crouched
down, with a smile in the tone of my voice…Morning Little fire,
I hope I didn’t wake you from some sexy dream of me…. you would
hear me laugh, then feel a tug on the hood, as I cut the cord
holding it around your throat.., it was pulled off quickly. I
crouched next to you looking down into your blue eyes… So, How’d
you sleep…comfy for ya? The scouts said they had fun staking you
out like this…. I patted your face with a grin.. Now the real
fun begins, you get to learn more about me, and what I want out
of you...you up for my challenge?

then the cold water strikes me, so unexpected so sharp and cold
and washing over me all at once gasping and tensing flailing and
bucking as i cry out in surprise from the cold of the water
feeling it wash over my form soaking into the hood and my mouth
some coughing and tasting the water mixed with leather of the
hood then my clothes soaked and pressed against my form. as i
lay back some and clear my throat hearing laughter and feeling
someone there close around me then hearing the sounds the knife,
Your voice then feeling You there looming over and close to me
hearing Your words then and tone i growl softly before the hug
tugged free of my head. blinking my eyes as the light blinds me
a moment then looking focusing in on You there over me and
smiles deep blue eyes meeting the depths of Your onyx gaze,
corners of my lips curl up and i grin as i answer You very comfy
Mistress, thank You for this spread position, i very much
enjoyed all the poking and proding, there were quite a few gasps
as i remember in my fugue state. You might want to keep me
closer Mistress before one of the Others decides i am a better
challenge for them then You. feels Your touch to my face and
nuzzles against it a bit but my eyes remain sharp focused,
locked on Yours

and snoring and dreaming of a giant tasta that could last
forever. I was awakened by the sounds of the chain clanging and
my ankle freed not that I wanted to run off anywhere as I had
everything I needed in the lair. I went outside the hut and down
to the river to bathe. I suppose I could have tossed a bucket of
water over me but I was more interested in leisure in bathing
and that was one of the few leisurely pursuits I enjoyed. With
the dirt of the night gone, I lay in the last remnants of the
morning sunshine, as soon winter would be here and the swimming
to get clean would become too chilly. I returned to the depths
of the Lair a little bedraggled from the wetness of the swim and
my body no longer sleepy was fresh and bright as a new day and
my mind was sweeping passangs ahead of time wanting to do things

hut opening, caused me to look up towards my hut seeing my boy
leave the hut I smirked looking back down at you… the smile in
my eyes didn’t touch my face, but, it was there all the same,
put there by the words you spoke of your own anatomy…I would
start to pull the braided cord from within my belt from around
my wait, pushing the knotted part through the noose part of the
cord making a sliding leash, I grabbed the front of your hair,
pulling your head up off the ground slipping the leash over your
head, before releasing your hair, pulling the leash tightly to
close around your throat.. Now, I would say Let me tell you want
is going to happen here…I’m going to untie you, walk you over to
the pole just over yonder, and retie you…when you are retied,
you are going to get a haircut…nice little cut...not too much
off the sides of course…then if you are good I take a look at
what you seem to be going on about with the scouts.. My gaze
flickered to your genitals then back to your eyes with a dark
smirk.. If I not everything you claimed, I will relieve you of
it…do you wish to retract that statement or are you going to
stick to it? Hmmm? You would see a smile but it was not one of
someone that was teasing...I reach down with my left hand that
held the blade, and cut your binds on your ankles, then on your
left wrist, leaving your right one still tied, I waited for an
answer…

everything. feeling the bonds cut on my left ankle then wrist
lays there unmoving until bidden to do so by You lead and i will

for the day and the night ahead. I stoked up a good blaze and
pondered how quiet the lair was. I got on with the cooking of
the first meal of the day, all kinds of tasty morsels tossed
into a pot and lightly flavoured with herbs and spice. The smell
drifted through the breeze and mingled with the scent of
flattened pine. I closed my eyes and drifted off a little into a
trance, cooking often had that sense of euphoria

board)) and then proceeded to mention about the camp to yazhi.
Home was home and always would be, despite a little adventure on
the way and my other brother disappearing, I had no idea where
he went to, last seen in a cave getting a weapon off the
Mistress Sarah. I had returned to camp down the face of scree to
the river below. Slipping back into the present, I took the
leash in my hand and led you about the camp, showing you our
secrets and your responsibilities to the home. Soon I would ask
you of your value to the band of panthers, for now I showed you
the cages, the central fires, the stores, the kiln and things
local to the area, I did not show you the river yet or even
mention it, the Mistress always kept the exits a secret until
the trust was gained.

chained you to the pole. I would have mentioned chores to you
but in their nature, it is always best to fit the talent to the
chore itself. No point wasting time on things that might be
badly executed in the future, I had that learned that error in
the past when it bit me. I had also noticed you showing yourself
off to the panthers who were awake. "They might take you when
the time comes." I smiled and then continued.... "What are you
good at and what talents can you give to the band?" as I stroked
my beard and thought ahead for what needed to be done here for
the day.

listening then feels you lead me over to the pole and secure me
i was a trader and trapper, i have hunting and trapping skills,
know how to make some pepper bombs and such. i have been on my
own for some time so can cook, clean, skin and prepare furs and
leathers. i never really had any formal skills like farming or
working a forge or such but know enough to survive and get by.

your conversation, it was a good to have a brother in the camp
again. "You have skills needed for the winter months ahead. I am
sure you will be an asset to the band with those skills which we
all seem to share,so the work load will be lessened somewhat now
we have someone with the skills the band mostly requires and I
won't have to teach you it which means more time for other

something to do as the Mistress does not like idleness. There
was some mending to be done. Tears on furs and things. When you
are free of the chain, life comes less complicated but you still
had your hair intact for now and no sign of a stripe and were
not fully initialised into the band.

offered items and nodding my head. taking the needle and thread
and starting where the snag ended and the fur was solid. i tied
a knot in the two ends of the thread then began working the
needle through the fur on either side of the snag drawing the
two pieces together as i worked the needle and thread back and
forth keeping the stitches even and doubling them up every now
and then to make sure the snag was well and fully mended as i
worked my way along the snag and the fur

did my own work for the day. Some of the meat needed to be
roasted and cooked for a long time with herbs and honey. I made
the sullage as I always did every day and baked bread and cakes.
Panthers have a sweet tooth. I got to make some clay pots on the
makeshift wheel, the crude science behind it and the right mix
of clay and water as I began to shape them as my foot did the
treddle. I had to fire these soon when the temperature in the
fire pit was hot enough i put the pots into be fire. I had to
keep an eye on them as the science here was primitive and the
pots were known to blow up if I was not careful watching them
slowly glow red, I knew that they were at the right temperature
and I smiled happy while they baked, I did chores close by, we
had to get in the harvest and start putting fruit and vegetables
into the finished pots later on with some vinegar or salted
water.

wine. I had forgotten to make that. That had to be made
regularly throughout the day. I thought of how many people had
to traded from or robbed to get so much of the dark brew of
Thentis into the camp. The panthers guzzled down a lot of it. I
got the kettle and emptied it out further away from camp. I then
filled it up with fresh water, hanged the kettle on the dixie
over the fire and then added the grounds of black wine. I got my
food for the day, I looked to the brother there doing his
mending. I had not heard mention of feeding the brother and
sometimes panthers don't feed you until the will is broken and
some do. So I got some food together for my brother too, some
bread and meat and a cup of water and headed back to him as I
was not sure if he was hungry or not and of course with all the
work in camp to do, food was needed. "your food brother," I
smiled.

finishing one pass of the stitches but tugs at the edges of the
fur and sees the stitches give a bit. starts another path of the
stitches now working my way from the edge of the fur along the
snag to where the snag ends within the fur. keeping these
stitches closer and doubling the thread around some of the
stitches more often now and then finishes this pass holding the
needle in my teeth and tugs at the fur again seeing the stitches
and the mending hold well this time. bits through the string and
ties then ends off setting this fur aside taking another and
starting again to work the needle and thread along the snag to
mend it

the day. It was always good to have a bit of fish. I had not
been to the part of the river where the large fish nets were. I
had seen Nara up there with Willow a few times. They had come
home with fish a few times for me to gut. I did not mind gutting
as it was rather fun
