Okay, we will start with the elections for Chairman... Chairman
Vote is tied between Candidate hunter and Candidate Martin.
Candidate Reid has lost therefore in the reelection, his name
will not be on the ballot.

I contest the election results on the following grounds. In the
Supreme Nomic Ruleset, under Rule S3.2.d, it states:
Each player makes their selection for each office from
the ballot by replying to the post. All players, including
lower players are allowed to vote.
A player is defined as a player of any sub-nomic. Therefore,
the only eligible voters, as of 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January
19th (when the elction ended) were as follows:
Jonathan (voted Jonathan)
Seth (voted Seth)
Alex (voted Seth)
Garrett (voted Seth)
Dale (voted Jonathan)
Tim (did not vote)
Branson (did not vote)
Cody (did not vote)
Mayci is not a registered player in any nomic, and therefore has
no right to vote. Therefore, the final vote is 3-2 Seth.

Can you please state where it says that? Not arguing, just
wondering.

Player is technically defined as a dictator (therefore only the
three of us are players). However, in the amended rule just
passed, we allow all players of all nomics (players are defined
in each sub-nomic) to vote in elections.

Yes, but as you stated, if one rule states that only dictators
vote, then that's that. We're back to tie. It hasn't been
proposed to change that. Plus, if player is not defined in the
Supreme Nomic, then we must go with a dictionary definition: one
that plays. They are playing Nomic. Therefore they are a player.
If they are a player, then they have the right to vote. Plus,
players in the Supreme Nomic are different from players in the
lower nomics. Players may not even have the right to vote in a
lower nomic but would still have the right to vote in the
Supreme Nomic. Therefore, it would strictly mean that you are
trying to compare two things that may not exactly be the same
depending on the situation.

Chairman, you know that this is exactly how you interpreted the
rule when YOU wrote and proposed it.
And besides, if we were going to decide the constitutionality of
the rule, that responsibility goes to the Vice-Chairman, who in
rule S3.1.b.i, is:
Resolving disputes regarding the interpretation of the
Supreme Nomic ruleset through hearings.
So I'd be glad to hold a hearing on this if you still dispute it
:)

How about this: (because I could just overturn a hearing and
that would get us nowhere.) We take a revote, Mayci joins a sub
Nomic, and we vote.
Plus, since the vote is already taken, we are immediately into
the revoting. Once the ball is rolling, the game is over. And if
it makes you feel any better, Mayci will not vote this time.
