THE RULE SET

Under the Hunterian Dynasty in the Year of our Lord Two
Thousand and Eleven, the First lineage of many, the First King
of many
First of all, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, the Master of his
Domain, the King of the Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan Hunter
welcomes you to his realm. This version of Nomic is new,
exciting and enticing to the brain, as well as the eyes. Please,
stay, feel comfortable. We will bring you some cake or cookies
and a glass of hot chocolate in a few moments (this is
unfortunately a lie.) Welcome to Patria.
Before we have you messing around with our Law of the Land
(known to the outside world as The Rule Set) we figured it would
be best for you to read the rule set as a whole. In fact, if you
want to play at all, you MUST read them all... Or we'll kill
you. Have a great day!
Below is the most recent edition of Suprema Lex Patriae. Please
read and enjoy. Afterward, follow the instructions given to
become a citizen.
SUPREMA LEX PATRIAE

[li]All citizens must abide by all laws as stated in the Suprema
Lex Patriae. Furthermore, if a conflict arises, the Supreme
Ruler of the Land, the Master of his Domain, the King of the
Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan Hunter will judge the issue. He
has the final word.[/li]
[li]A day in The Game must go as follows: Firstly, all citizens
must propose a law or declare they are passing. Secondly, all
proposals must be read by all active citizens. Thirdly, all
active citizens in the Kingdom must then vote on the law.
Fourthly, the law must be written in the Suprema Lex Patriae.
Fiftly, all active citizens go on with their lives. This
includes buying and selling, talking, etc. All days last until
either: the Supreme Ruler of the Land, the Master of his Domain,
the King of the Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan Hunter declares
the day over or steps one through four are completed, and 24
hours have passed since the day began. This list of 5 steps may
happen up to 10 times in a single day. A vote may not happen
unless there are at least 2 citizens in the city.[/li]
[li]A citizen may be either of the following; active or
inactive. An active citizen is readily available in the Kingdom.
An inactive citizen is traveling and therefore has no say on any
matters of the Kingdom.[/li]
[li]A proposal of a law may be any of the following:
[li]a new law[/li]
[li]an amendment to a law[/li]
[li]a repealing of a law[/li]
To become a citizen, a man or woman must come to the Supreme
Ruler of the Land, the Master of his Domain, the King of the
Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan Hunter and ask for citizenship.
[li]The man running this Nomic game is to known and called
"the Supreme Ruler of the Land, the Master of his Domain, the
King of the Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan Hunter." at all times
throughout gameplay.[/li]
[li]All players of this game of Nomic are to be called
"citizens" and they are they are to be living within a
"Kingdom."[/li]
[li]No player is allowed to break this facade at any time
throughout this whole section of www.nomic.createaforum.com. Any
talk about the Nomic must be done outside of this.[/li]
[li]The Kingdom in which the players of 'The Game' live in will
officially be known as 'Patria'. The rule set will also now be
known as Suprema Lex Patriae. The title 'The Game' will
officially be obsolete and replaced with the new name.[/li]
[li]Each player may declare a title for themselves. The title
may not exceed 120 characters. The title may not be deemed more
awesome that the Supreme Ruler of the Land, the Master of his
Domain, the King of the Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan Hunter.
This will be judged by the Supreme Ruler of the Land, the Master
of his Domain, the King of the Kingdom, the Almighty Jonathan
Hunter.[/li]
[li]In Patria, there is a lineage of Kings and Queens. This
lineage is chosen by an appointment by the present King. Then
the next King or Queen may appoint a further King of Queen. This
may go on for eternity.
To win Patria, the lineage must be terminated.
Also, the reigning King or Queen may not terminate the
lineage.[/li]
[li]A citizen may attempt an assassination. To be successful,
the citizen must roll a regular six sided die five times and
roll a one every time. If this is completed, the King or Queen
is dead and kicked out of the game and the Assassin may do one
of two things: Either become King or Queen in the Dynasty that
is already going on or start their own Dynasty. If for whatever
reason there is only a single King or Queen in a specific
Dynasty, that Dynasty is deleted and the King or Queen is formed
into the Dynasty that preceded them.
Only one player per five turns may attempt an assassination.
If, however, a citizen fails at the assassination attempt,
they are immediately stripped of all money and their voting
rights are stripped for twenty turns.
If a new Dynasty is started, it is named after the new
reigning King or Queen. Also, the King or Queen get the power to
change any three rules how they would like. There are a few
rules to follow though:
1. The rule they change may not make the game impossible to
win or get any better.
2. The rule may not change to make any player all powerful.
3. The rule must help out all citizens.
As of right now, we are in the Hunterian Dynasty under King
Jonathan Hunter.[/li]
[li]There exists the Global Jousting Battle Leaderboard. It
shall record the rank and records of all players in jousting
matches.
Players may joust one another. If both players agree to a
joust, they shall compete in rock-paper-scissors. The first
player to win three rounds is the winner. If a player wins, he
or she will be awarded with a monetary sum of up to a
cintesimapecun. If the player loses, he faces the King or Queen
to deem his consequence.[/li]
