Uhhh... Well, I'm working on Melodic Minor more, if anyone's
interested. I've finally crossed the 50,000 word threshold and

Ok, I'm still unsure about it. Uh I never wrote anything that
had more then 20 notebook pages (and in english) but here it
goes:

Tomorrow I will check over once again third chapter and upload
it too, then work on next one. As I said in "Private chat" I've

@kare_reiko: ah, thank you for sharing!! I wanted to wait with
replying until I'd read them all, but the first one is already
long, so it might take a bit.
So thanks so much for sharing and brb, I found something to keep

@kare-reiko: I read the first chapter!!
I'm excited to see where it'll go. I'm also glad that you
included bits of their lives before reunion; it felt really
natural and appropriate. ;u; I can't imagine what it's like to
write a story in a foreign language, but, though you have some
tense and vocabulary errors, the main point of the piece still
gets through and you have some really powerful lines! T_T (I
could quote some of my favorites but then it would end up being
spoilers here, so I'll comment on AO3 with them.) Both Shion and
Nezumi are also really in-character and their actions don't feel
awkward or out of place.

Thank both of you. I glad you stopped and comment it, I didn't
want to write here earlier because later it would end with me
double posting and I don't like that.
Anyway here is fresh 4th chapter, I update it on AO3 too:

Really, sometimes I don't have control over how fast boys
relationship move on, I was always thinking Nezumi would confess
"I love you" around time when he promise to stay with Shion, but
when I was writing it it didn't feel right, some other things
don't fit yet too.
I have some idea about adding some bad thing to Nezumi past that
I would include in Birthday arc but I'm still really unsure
about it, Festival and Attack arcs will be hard for Shion, so I
thought, for them to be equal Nezumi should get a little kicks
too XD.
I don't want to wrote story where Shion will look like lame duck
XD.
Anyway Inukashi in next chapter, I will keep her as a girl,
sorry, it burned in my mind that Inukashi is a girl XD.

I. SHAME ON ME.
Anyway! Got all caught up now including the fourth chapter, I
really like where you're going with this! I like all the little
details and references to canon (Shion's nose biting specialty,
ahhh yesss), and I really like how you're including more and
more characters - all my love for Karan, ahh. Poor Shion, and
now I kind of fear what you're going to put Nezumi through, but
it helps knowing that's related to his past and not the present
and that they're moving forward in the present. (I really need
these two to be happy, hohum) I love the pace you're currently
taking, it feels very natural.
Ah, and like @Meopat said, I really liked the parts pre-reunion
being included as well, it's important to see where they're
coming from and it all comes together naturally. And I admire
you a lot for writing something this long and thought-out in a
different language. Though there are times when it's noticeable
English isn't your first language, that didn't take anything
away from the story overall for me and the characters definitely
shine through. Yeah, they do have their own will when you write
them, don't they. So demanding XD

I was going to write more, until end of current Recovery arc,
but I think from tomorrow I will start draw second part of "long
winter" doujin. I will go to my boyfriend, I could draw there
but I don't want to bring my drawing tablet and programs through
half country. So first finishing drawing, programming it to post
itself on May 6th, then back to writing.
Anyway 5th chapter turned into long one, 6th will be shorter,
then finely time skip (not long one this time, only like 2-3
weeks) to Fight Arc.
