And then when Shion starts to show his slightly kinky tendencies
(*coughcough he's a masochist cough*) then he'll tell Nezumi all
about how the human body can feel more pleasure than pain in his
nerdy scientific way but after a few tries he actually convinces
Nezumi maybe... MAYBE...
(I'll write that fic once I learn about the nervous system in
school...)

You really don't need to learn as much about the nervous system
as you might think (and I doubt school is gonna teach you that
much about it considering I had a for ... what? A week maybe? If
were good ...)
So, basically: The body sets free endorphines when in pain -
endorphines are known as those hormones which make you quite
happy; or aroused, depends on the situation ;) The reason it
does that is because endorphines are natural painkillers. So
there's your why. About the how ... better google (I could do
that for you if you'd like or not if I'm too pushy again because
frankly, I'm sure it's quite interesting and I'm kinda curious
now o.O)
But yeah to Shion's kinky masochistic side! Though I'm sure he
also could be quite sardistic in the bedroom. Though I'm not
sure Nezumi would like to take the masochistic part in this ...
depends on how much the trust between the two has already built
up and developed.

But I don't think Nezumi would like to be one. XD And I can't
imagine that Shion wants to hurt Nezumi during sex.

@Lawlya that makes sense... I just remember one of my teachers
saying that the human body can feel more pleasure than pain and
I immediately thought of Shion somehow.
@Ahiku I agree, I don't think Shion would ever feel good about
hurting Nezumi. (I mean, of course he'll hurt other people who
try hurting Nezumi, but never Nezumi himself if he can help it.)
Also I think Shion would really be into biting... or being
bitten, if you want to get technical.

I agree with Weisel about the biting, but as for the
masochism... idk. Maybe he would have those tendencies, but I
think he would be really ashamed of them, because they remind
him of times he's done bad stuff, like shooting that one guy xD
Plus, as you said, he would never want to hurt Nezumi... and I
think Nezumi would not really be into that kind of thing (and
we're talking emotional scarring here, not just physical). So I
imagine that maybe over time Nezumi would discover that Shion
likes stuff like being bitten, and having his hair pulled or
being scratched with fingernails or that kind of thing, or that
it turns him on to be pushed up roughly against any surface they
happen to be near by, but Shion himself would never vocalise a
desire for any of these things... or if he did, he'd be so
ashamed of it that he would immediately lose interest and have
to be coaxed back into trying it...
