There's nothing mentioned in Shion's reading list about anything
that could be gay literature... though if he read Shakespeare,
Shakespeare was kinda gay. He has love poems about men and
stuff.
I feel like Shion would know all about the mechanics of sex, but
he wouldn't actually know how it feels, obviously.
I think that Shion might not necessarily come straight out and
ask Nezumi about sex, for several reasons:
1. he got asked by Safu, so he knows how awkward it is if the
other person doesn't actually want to do it, so he might be
afraid to start that kind of awkwardness with Nezumi
2. just having Nezumi is enough for him, he claims to not need
sex (that's probably because he hasn't experienced it)
3. he might feel intimidated (as he does in canon a lot)
4. this one's from my own experience, as someone in Shion's
position - he might worry that he had imagined any sexual
tension between him and Nezumi, and his inexperience would keep
him from understanding that it was real, so he would not want to
speak up for fear of being wrong about its very existance; and
even if it did exist, he wouldn't want to push Nezumi into doing
it with him, given Nezumi's tendency to run away from things
that look like commitment
Now, maybe this is just me projecting my experiences onto them
too much. Shion is certainly more straightforward than I am, but
he isn't as straightforward as Safu, haha. But I often see the
headcanon that Shion basically just blurts out something along
the lines of "hey Nezumi, let's f*ck!" and although that is
certainly an amusing headcanon, I like to consider other
options? Also, I think that maybe they wouldn't really need
those words to know that it was time? Because Nezumi is
experienced enough to read body language, and their relationship
is already very physically affectionate, as Ahiku mentioned.
Fun fact about Shion: He's a Virgo. Here's a little quote from
the colourscopes website I use: "Virgo: There is a tendency
towards worry and yet, in contrast, there is also a sensual
surrender and a natural, pleasant earthiness. Sometimes a
powerful sex drives comes into conflict with a naturally
fastidious nature."
Therefore, he can probably go for mi l e s. And he would be good
at it, too. XD

probably but the thing is for the first two years I started to
get into fanfiction, I thought when two guys had sex one would
put their dick inside of another guys dick, and shion is
probably even more clueless about sex than me at that time so
I'd be worried for him

@Vox I agree, I don't think Shion would actually blurt out the
suggestion out of nowhere. Unless he was drunk. Then he would
drop some kind of ridiculously obvious hint. And then Nezumi
would roll his eyes and be like "You're drunk, so no. You'd
probably end up crying halfway through like this."

I've read my first hardcore yaoi fic when I was 15... tbh I

they did it... and I was just like. "Eh, there? o_o Is that even
possible?" After that I've read everything about anal sex I
could find and also started to write... One of my readers was a
boy and we chatted pretty often and he was like. "Oh you can ask
me whatever you want about gay sex." X'DDD He was really cool. I
mean not everyone is so... open? XD
But ok, enough off topic.
I also think Shion is not thaaat clueless. I always like this
kind of "I have theoretical knowlegde" running gag. X'D And as
for headcanons, it's sure cute when Shion is a bit
straightforward and like. "Hey, Nezumi, I want to have sex. You
told me you'll teach me. I want your sperm." Stuff like that.
^^° But not in canon, just for jokes. I totally love hilarious
stuff, even if it's a bit ooc.
But in canon... Yeah, I agree with Vox. Very much.
(Ah, but he has his moments... Just think about their first
kiss. Shion initiated it. I thought it was very brave. X'D And
very straightforward. I think I'd never dare to do something
like that and I never thought that Shion would just kiss him.
Even if it's just a... "Hey goodbye, I like you, you're my
friend..." kind of kiss and not a sexual one. It was rather
innocent.
Ah, and later, when Shion is older, I also think he would not do
anything at all, for the stated reasons. And I also think that
he knows Nezumi well enought to know that being in control is
important to Nezumi, especially in such a vulnerable situation.
So he'll let him be the leader, and Nezumi will top him way more
often, but when Nezumi finally understands that there's no
danger or something, he'll start to relax and help Shion to lose
his virginity at the front side as well X'D

I really agree with @Vox, that sounds a lot like Shion ^^ Like
wow, I can totally sign that xD
And yes, I don't really think that Shion is as clueless as many
like to depict him. Apparently, No.6 had good sexual eduction so
maybe they included non-hetero sex too? Who knows? It's not like
non-hetero relationships are treated any different than hetero
ones in No.6 so it would make sense?
I think Shion is normally very careful and tries to keep his
feelings under control but if they happen to get out of hand
he's just very straightforward and such ... something like that
xD And I think he would be really careful around Nezumi at first
because of fearing to scare him away ...

It's been quite a while since I read no. 6, but I hold the
unpopular belief that Shion tops. tbh I can't see neither of
them being actually submissive, except of Shion when he gets the
hang of things. I just have a feeling that Nezumi would top at
first, and that Shion, being the fast learner he is, takes over
pretty quickly.
They still switch very often, (especially when Shion comes back
from work after a long, tiring day, and Nezumi knows by now just
how to make Shion feel a little better *wink wink*)

I also think that they'll switch a lot once everything settled
down enough (aka Nezumi having enough trust and Shion loosing
enough of his fears). Who tops and bottoms will be just
dependent on the mood and how they feel and what they'd prefer
at the moment [s]and topping Shion is hot, not even Nezumi could
deny that[/s].

@Ahiku I was in sixth grade, waaaaay too young but I was very
much into my adventure time phase and in denial that I liked
gumshall and somehow it led to a very poor education in gay sex
that came entirely from fanfiction.net
I'd never been able to picture them switching off before, but
now I could see that being really nice. I had liked both topping
Nezumi and topping Shion, but I'd never been able to see that
they would switch off. I guess I should've known when it comes
to No. 6 there's always a third option (ah yes my banter is
terrific) though yea definitely it started pretty much with
Nezumi always topping but after a while Shion would catch on

Here are some questions this thread has left unanswered so far:
Oral sex - does that count as regular "topping" or do you think
they'd "switch off" or whatever on that differently? Do you
think they would prefer anal sex, oral sex, or handjobs? (Or...
anything else you can think of...)
Does Eve have a place in their sex life or is that an absolute
no? (I read a lot of fics where he does, so I thought I should
bring it up)

Oral sex - I think they both do this every now and then, but
somehow I could imagine Nezumi doing it more often. To help
Shion relax a bit... without expecting anything in return.
I also think he'd be the first one doing it. And Shion is
curious...he'd like to try it out too. I think he'd love to coax
sexy sounds out of Nezumi.
Ah, I don't think they'd have anal sex thaaat often...at least
not when they have an established relationship. It's more like
something for special occasions, since you need lube and time
and you have to prepare the other one. (But I could imagine
that...when they start to have sex, they will do it a lot, to
sow their wild oats. Especially when they start having sex when
Shion has a lot of free time. But I think he's pretty tired
after work... and doesn't have that much free time either.
So they could have oral sex then or a handjob, and
maybe...Nezumi is just giving him a nice massage and then they
cuddle naked until Shion is falling asleep.)
(Ok, morning sex once in a while isn't too bad either. I guess
they do everything. And anal sex is something special...being
connected and stuff.)
Especially when their relationship is fairly developed, it's
nice when they can do various things as the whim takes them.
Same goes for Eve. I think they'll include Eve, but not in the
beginnng of everything. It's more like something for later, to
pimp everything up. ^^ Ah...Shion wearing Eve's dress is also
not too bad. XD I guess Nezumi would enjoy it too.
