Oh my goodness, I'm so out of character as Nezumi- No one ever
sees me as him at cons because I'm always tucked away in corners
hiding under my giant cape or sleeping on white-haired anime
boys laps, when people compliment me I usually run away or blush
a lot, not cool at all!! (ﾟAﾟ;) People always ask
me to sing too (because I'm a retired professional singer) but I
get too embarrassed!! I'm usually really flirtatious and social
but when I'm Nezumi that all goes away? But I'm glad you like my
Nezumi cosplay, I really appreciate your kind words! I would
LOVE to see yours if you can find pictures!

Ahhh, so many posts since I logged on last! Was I gone all that
long? Ah, well, but it makes me so happy to see the forum so
active!!

I blush a lot too, it's terrible! Normally too, but while
cosplaying it's ten time worse! We tried doing a photoshoot, but
it was with cute poses and stuff, and I can't stare at someone
without laughing or getting all red!
(￣□￣;)!! Especially when I'm with cute
people I mean don't make me go through this I'll die. Also
sleeping on white-haired anime boys' laps sounds cool haha!
(Professional singer? That's so cool! And to say you were shy of
presenting yourself on here man that's awesome! I'm only a
professional looser so (´；ω；`) )

(Also somewhere back a page there was something about fellow
INFPs?? that's me, too...)
And AME! I've seen your cute cosplays around the tag before!
(and 14 cosplays seems reasonable to me... I've got... I have no
idea. not THAT many yet, but give it some time...)
I'm awkward and I blush a lot when I cosplay I think, but I have
freckles constantly red cheeks so I usually have a ton of makeup
on my face that covers that up, so when I do blush, it hardly
looks like anything. Concealer doesn't help the fact that I'm
awkward, though. My biggest embarrassment with cosplay though is
that I'm chubby so I'm just so nervous about any pictures taken
and overly critical of the pictures I see of myself.

I'm an actor (been in theater for 14 years woah man) so I'm
usually pretty good at keeping a straight face! But I'm
EXTREMELY camera shy, I have a lot of really talented, local,
photographer friends, but I'm just not cut out for being in
front of a camera (I prefer stages)

get you with that cute people thing though! White-haired anime
boys laps are the most comfortable places to nap if you get the
chance you should try it (

Yeah I've done well over 100 costumes (28 this year so far!) so
14 from one series doesn't sound that crazy to me! Even if
they're. .almost all one character wwww. I have freckles too! So
much foundation for cosplay, so much. . .I'm sorry to hear that
your body type has effected your confidence in cosplaying though
(｡•́︿•̀｡) it's really hard to
shake that! I used to not cosplay the characters I wanted
because of I felt my body type didn't suit the character (ALL
THESE CUTE, SHORT GIRLS AND TWINKY BOYS....GRRR...) but I once I
started accepting the way I look, I got much more comfortable
with myself! I hope that you can experience something similar
and feel comfortable and confident when you see photos of
yourself! I'm sure your cosplays are downright lovely

I am not at ease with my appearance either, so I dislike people
taking pictures of me... I completely understand! But we're
there to have fun, so screw that! Awkward people unite! I'm sure
you look cute anyway, so don't think about it too much! There's
nothing wrong with being chubby!

(Also, I think it would be nice to have a thread for some pics
of us? If people are at ease with that, it would be fun to see
what everyone looks like! But that's just me

@Ame HOLY... I've done like... uh, ten cosplays this year... how
do you do THAT MANY?? Also I figure the only way I'll actually
be confident about my cosplays is if I lose weight. Other people
can rock curvy cosplay, but I can't.
@Enokizu I usually have fun getting my picture taken but then I
see the pictures later and I'm like "OH GOD NO." Also a thread
would be cool... Feel free to start one! I wanna see everyone's
cosplays! (btw I've called myself chubzumi because I'm just a
sort of squishy Nezumi... though alternatively I'm chibizumi
because I'm really short, so if you combine it, I'm chubizumi.)
(anyway, here's probably the best cosplay selfie I've managed to
take in No.6 cosplay...

I used to work at an outdoor theater where we'd give tours and
talk about mythical creatures (that place was magical I can't
put it in to words) THAT was cool, normal acting is boring
(ノ_ _)ノ Being in a band sounds so neat! I used to
play all kinds of instruments (Not the cool kind, though) but I
can't anymore because I don't remember how (amnesia, long
story). What do you do in your band?

Cosplay is where I put all of my spare time and money! I'm lucky
to live in a state with an above average amount of conventions
and I live in a city that has a really neat discount fabric
store, it makes my hobby A LOT more affordable! I also have way
too many interests, I wanna cosplay from every series I enjoy!
And if that's the only way you'll feel confident, be safe in
your weight loss endeavors ヾ(

Outdoor theater wow get out of here that's so great! I'm super
jealous, I would never be able to act in front of people! I'm a
theatrical person, but only with my friends! I'm too shy
otherwise. It sounds really fun, this mythical creature stuff!
Reminds me of a short story collection book I did with my friend
last year! All the stories revolved around unknown mythical
creatures, it was fun! Your troup sounds so nice and dreamy...

Oh gee, It sucks you forgot how to play these instruments
(;*△*;) I play the clarinet in my band! But I also know
how to play the piano, the violin and a bunch of wind and
percussion instruments! And I compose music! But it's silly
stuff, nothing too serious, it's still fun though!
