Ahh, I meant to reply to this thread earlier but I got
distracted, oops. Anyway, I really associate this song with the
later Correctional Facility events:
HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJEoxeW7JvQ
Bleeding out - Imagine Dragons
Oh, you tell me to hold on
But innocence is gone
And what was right is wrong
'Cause I'm bleeding out
So if the last thing that I do
Is to bring you down
I'll bleed out for you
So I bare my skin
And I count my sins
And I close my eyes
And I take it in
And I'm bleeding out
I'm bleeding out for you
(Actually I associate more of their songs with No. 6, which may
or may not be the reason I bought the album, haha. This was the
first one I latched onto, however.)
And someone else I definitely want to mention is KOKIA, a
Japanese singer-songwriter. (I'm quite a fan of her, so I'm a
bit biased and tend to connect her songs to all the things I
love, ssh.) She often sings about nature itself and the human
nature, also themes in No. 6. I struggle to bring up just one
song, so have two of my absolute favourites:
HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tehrLcmRMwA
Chouwa oto ~with reflection~ - KOKIA (sound of harmony)
She starts to reverse the Japanese sounds in the second part of
the song, which is why it may sound a little funny. Translation
from here
HTML http://www.kiwi-musume.com/lyrics/kokia/trip%20trip/chouwa.htm:
In the midst of the silence, a single drop
Causes a ripple that spreads through the water at the bottom of
the well
The winter wind shakes the forest in my noisy heart
The things that can live with it stay as they are
Everyone who has heard the quiet voice in this forest has shed
tears at noise
3 25 15 21 23 1 (this spells 'Cyouwa', harmony - next are the
reversed lyrics)
Ceaselessly and quietly forest this in sounds of cacophony the
Heart noisy my in peace restore
Born is born is born is sound a
Sounds of sea the into sinks sinks sinks and
Born is born is born is sound a
Sounds of sea the with in blends blends blends and
I can't help but think of Nezumi's background, and of Shion in
the very beginning with the storm.
And finally:
HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UijT7UK1Bj4
Kodoku na ikimono - KOKIA (Lonely beings)
This post is getting rather long, but I translated the lyrics
over here
HTML http://kokialyrics.tumblr.com/post/60195117396/kokia-kodoku-na-ikimono-lonely.<br
/>This is mostly a gut feeling in combination with the title.
Apologies for the length and the late reply!

So many nice songs *-*
I also want to share one...
[tt]
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJI2By29XeE[/tt]
[s]Sorry, it's just a fandub, lol XD I'm too lazy to search a
proper version. That's why the English sounds so horrible. But I
just wanted to sing it because the song reminded me of Nezumi
and Shion... [/s]
Sitting in the garden, walking on the road
I feel so sad, I feel alone
I try to hide the way I feel inside
[s]Can't you see the sparkles in my eyes?[/s]
Sadness and fear are waiting ahead
Wherever you'll be I know we'll be friends
Would you be mine if I could melt your heart?
[s]Would you see the sparkles in my eyes?[/s]
I'll be waiting for you
I swear I'll be waiting
Come rain or come shine
I will wait for you, my friend
I'll be searching for you I swear
Day and night I will wait
I think there are parts for both of them in this song...
Nezumi's on the road, searching for his own self and maybe he'll
start to search his way back to him when he has finally realized
that he needs him. Both feel alone. And Shion's sad. (Nezumi,
too... probably. XD)
Shion's waiting, and he'll always wait for him, no matter what
happens.

OMG... I just heard this song and can't stop laughing, because I
imaginged Shion singing it and sending a singing telegram to
Nezumi. ^^° I wonder how Nezumi would react. [s]I guess it would
make him run away even more. ^^°Especially when Shion sents it
with this kind of background...[/s]

@Ahiku I want to make a cosplay video of that so badly now...
Nezumi getting that message, watching about two seconds of it
and just NOPE... This is terrible WHAT HAVE YOU DONE...

@Ahiku every time we touch is the quintessential amv song XD
I like that this is nicer than the original though... less
dance-beat-y.
Here is a metal version, just for funzies.
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAbNGe1PWoY
Okay, now we're way off track.
Here's another Nezushi song I added to my repertoire lately:
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBMwwJMkcRA
The lyrics are even accurate. They talk about loving your best
friend. (With gender-correct pronouns and everything!)
and now, an a capella song for nezumi to sing:

Papaoutai
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiKj0Z_Xnjc
It's a french song but it's pretty popular people so you guys
probably know it it's about a son talking about his absent
father.
It reminds me how Shion's father is absent his whole damn life
like get back to your son now you mean old man
anyway I was half kidding I'll find better songs when I'll have
free time! <(&#65507;&#65078;&#65507;)>
(I should really get back to my duties )
