Re: When and how did you become a No. 6 fan? :D

Wow, it's fun to see how we all got together here xD
Okay, so it actually started with tumblr. I picked up a habit to
check out manga screenshots that are nice-looking. And as it
happens, the prostitute scene from No.6 kept floating around my
dash so one day I just said to myself to finally check this
manga out. Read it in about two to three days. That was end
2013, I think?
Okay, so it broke off at chapter 21 and I desperately searched
for the other ones online. Nowhere to be found. While searching
for the manga, I actually discovered there was an anime but
swore to me to not watch it because first: It was completed and
the manga scanlation wasn't; never a good sign. And secondly, I
thought the art didn't look as good as the manga's art so I
didn't want to watch it.
As it came, I got so desperate that I watched it either way. And
wept at the ending. Kept telling myself that maybe the original
series wouldn't end like that but tumblr corrected that in a few
days. And then I found out about the novels and I'm still
somewhere at the beginning of the 7th volume but hey! They're
always on my phone! The whole time! Just have to start reading
again ^^"
So, yeah. That's my story xD

Ahhhh okay I love this one
Last summer I got into anime somehow and I made a blog on Tumblr
and followed this amazing person who blogged about No. 6, and I
asked her which anime was and what it was about because it
looked interesting :3 and I think I hadn't even noticed the gay
yet lol, so she explained what it was about and I started
watching it and WOOO it was so lovely, and then I read the manga
(which was nowhere to be found in its complete glory *throws
socks*) so eventually I started reading the novels and believe
me when I say that I never cry at series or books or whatever (I
think I hadn't even cried when I watched the anime (please don't
kill me) though it was a close call) but I shed tears when
Nezumi left in the novels :( ugh I felt sad for days honestly...
But yes that's my story and these two dorks still make me squeak
when they appear on my dash :')

Well, this should be a good topic for a first post.
It was last week, I went on a trip to Germany and browsed the
Manga section of a bookstore for something good and there it
was. I picked it up and thumbed through and it looked
interesting. Yes. Suffice to say it was read by the time my
train arrived back in my hometown and I was irritated for only
having bought the first volume. *laugh*
So I went browsing around the internet and found the anime,
watched it all in two days and... I was really not okay with it
being over already, so I went digging deeper and I found a
translation of the novels. I fell in love with them and read all
nine and Beyond in 3 days flat. By now I bought the rest of the
Manga that is available (they're up to 4 on the German
translation by now...) and I decided on an RP account on tumblr.
... I'm also considering a cosplay.
It's all fresh, but taking into account that I'm not the type to
get into something quickly and drop it two weeks later, this was
an instant love and I bet it will last.

Hello [member=71]Kai[/member], welcome! Willkommen! :D
A trip to Germany? Where do you come from? Austria? Switzerland?
Since you're apparently able to speak German. (Btw. the 5th
volume is out now here. o.o I bought it last week...or the week
before last week.)

Hey ^^ Thank you.
From Switzerland. And... I went looking for them but I only
found the volume 4 pile with the new arrivals. I probably looked
the day before they put out the new ones or something like that
(or all the 5's were gone already). Ah, well... I guess I'll go
see what they cost here. If I can handle that sum. Too expensive
this country...

Ah, Switzerland... X'D (God, why did I write Swiss...*screams*
Whelp.)
Ah, that could be possible. o.o Ah, could you order them via
amazon? I hope you'll be able to find a way to buy them, since
the story gets more and more interesting now and the drawings
get more and more beautiful. <3

Last year, I found about No.6 thanks to blogger, someone made a
little review that didn't say much, but I liked the anime poster
where Nezumi and Shion were back to back, sorrounded by books. I
didn't like yaoi that time, but I didn't hate it also, and
somehow when I saw the poster I bet they were a couple or a
least very close friends, and I couldn't help it but think
"woah, they fit each other so well!". Don't know why >.< I began
and watched all the anime in the same day, the final was good
enough for me - not the explanations or the "bees thing", but
the farewell sounded adequate, even if letting me in tears (and
it's difficut to make me cry!). Of course I needed more.
I began to read the manga, then I discovered the final volumes
weren't available online and I started panicking - I didn't know
about the novels. After discover, I was more happy, however, not
much because I wasn't confident enough to read a whole serie in
english. I stopped a while after start reading. In the middle of
this year, I started again and I'm still reading, but I know
about lots of things that appear in the novel that don't appear
neither in manga neither in anime. I already read Beyond. I'm
just reading so slowly to make the pleasure last more ;)
I get my hands in the fourth final volumes of the manga IN THE
BEGGINING OF THIS MONTH, and I was so happy I wanted to scream.
It was my first manga and probably I won't get anymore soon -
because I don't want to make my family spend money with things I
can find on the internet, and it's not that easy to find otaku
stores here in Portugal. Finding mangas in portuguese?
Impossible. I think they don't exist. [off topic] I love to live
here, but I hate how Portugal is so closed for the rest of the
world [/off topic]
I just concluded the mangas now, however, since last year I am
always searching for new fanarts, fanfics, curiosities and stuff
about Number six. Usually, I do it about all the series I
finish, even books: a passion blooms suddendly... and falls
suddendly too. I guess No.6 was different since the beginning,
and more than a passion, it changed a lot the way I see the
world. I'm happy about had seen the anime first, because the
following time I felt my passion growing even more and it's a
feeling I greatly appreciate :3

to No.6 <3

Asano-sensei's words can be incredibly heart-breaking sometimes.

fanart, or even headcanons, please share!! *_* I don't think
there can be enough Nezushi or No.6 in the world. (sob)
