I'll get episode 2 up later today, too! And yes, Safu's VA is
there! It's an absolute riot with the three of them there. It's
just like how I imagine the characters would be hanging out as
friends. (I lost it when Yamase was dying and Safu's VA and
Shion's VA started singing "Kaze no Requiem" and Nezumi's VA's
just screaming in the background.)

KY: Okay, so I am going to be leading this audio commentary for
No.6.
YH: Right.
YK: You sure are!
KY: Yep! I’m Kiyono Yasuno, Safu’s voice actress.
YK: I’m Yuki Kaji.
YH: And I’m Yoshimasa Hosoya.
KY: We’ll be presenting the commentary!
YH: Yep!
YK: Yay!
KY: Yay!
YK: This time Kiyono Yasuno will be joining us.
KY: Right!
YH: Isn’t this your first commentary?
KY: Right! This is the first audio commentary I’ve ever been in!
YK: You didn’t even know what an audio commentary was until just
recently, did you?
YH: Right, right!
KY: Nope!
YK: That came as a shock to me.
KY: Didn’t I even ask, “What is an audio commentary?”
YH: It’s when we all get to talk.
YK: Right, right.
KY: Yep!
YK: Doesn’t the way we’re chatting feel like we’re hanging out
in someone’s room?
YH: Yeah, it does!
KY: It really does!
YK: It’s like we’re chilling while watching the show.
YH: Doesn’t it?
YK: So anyway, let’s loosen up.
KY: Okay.
YK: And chat while we watch the show.

KY: We’ll keep it relaxed.
YK: And I can share some basic trivia.

YK: We’re assuming that our viewers have already seen the
episode.
KY: Really?

KY: But I figured there’s a bunch of people who didn’t have No.
6 broadcast in their area, so they’re seeing it for the first
time on DVD.
YK: Right.
KY: With that in mind…
YK: I don’t think they’d start with the audio commentary.
KY: Probably not!
YH: Nope!
KY: So, they watched episode 2 first.
YK: Right, they’ve seen it.
KY: And then they goof off by watching the commentary.
YK: Right, right.
YH: Right…
KY: Okay.
YK: What do you think of this opening? We already did the audio
commentary for episode 1.
YH: We’ve commented on it.
KY: Is that right?!
YK: It sure is! So we’ve already talked about this opening.
KY: Okay.
YK: Yasukiyo, what do you think of it?
YH: What are your thoughts on this opening?
KY: This opening is really…
YK: …kinda deep isn’t it?
KY: …deep, you know? It’s like they were in a beehive, but then
it bursts open!
YK: Right.
KY: And then they’re, “Whoosh!” into the sky!
YK: They’re casting a spell.
KY: They’re casting a spell, huh?
YK: And then all of their past memories whoosh away!
KY: Yeah, right, right.
YK: I’m sure that there are some who wondered
KY: Uh-huh.
YK: who this white-haired guy in the coat is, even after
watching episode 2.
KY: I know!
YH: Yeah.
KY: Probably.
YK: And check out that logo! That’s the logo!
KY: It’s a logo of a bee.
YH: There’s a bee logo.
YK: Yeah, there is. Yasukiyo, could you tell us about it?
KY: Okay. Regarding the logo of a bee in the opening credits
that is displayed with the “No. 6” Production Committee…
YK: It was with the Production Committee, wasn’t it?
KY: Wasn’t it? Producer Takeeda of Fuji TV
YH: Uh-huh.
KY: declared that he would like to put in a distinct logo.
YK: Okay.
KY: He cast aside the concerns of those around him like, “Huh?
Why a bee? Why should we put in a logo?” and added it in the
credits anyway.
YK: Your voice sounded so serious,
YH: I see…
YK: but your wording was so flippant.
KY: I guess so.
YH: Yeah, you made it sound insignificant!
KY: I just did what felt natural!
YK: There was already an official website out when they first
announced that No. 6 would get an anime. When they opened the
site, you could download some backgrounds. They had already
decided on this bee logo by that time.
KY: Okay.
YH: That’s right.
KY: Is that right?
YK: I think that this logo is necessary for the story behind No.
6.
KY: It sure is! That logo is really cool.
YK: Isn’t it?
KY: I put my scripts in a folder that Producer Kurosu gave me
with that logo on it.
YK: Uh-huh. He gave us those folders, didn’t he?
YH: He sure did.
KY: Yeah. Someone noticed some staff holding the folder at the
episode 1 preview and started squealing, “I want one!”
YK: So he gave it to him?
KY: Yep! He sure did! Oh, gosh!
YH: I’m not surprised.
KY: Do you think you could buy that at a noitaminA shop?
[noitaminA is a Fuji Television’s late night anime block]
YK: I don’t know about the merchandise. When I went to the
store--
KY: Kaji, you’ve already gone?!
YK: I sure did.
KY: Wow!
YH: Wow, you rushed over.
YK: I’ve told you about it before!
KY: You did?
YK: Weren’t you paying attention?
KY: Not at all!
YH: I paid attention, but I went along with her.
KY: So when did you go?
YK: When? It’ll have been a while by the time this hits the
shelves.
KY: Really?
YK: Uh-huh. I had an opportunity to make some stickers.
KY: Oh, yeah! That’s right!
YK: Remember me telling you?
KY: You sure did!
YK: Right. I wrote my name, Yuki Kaji, by a picture of Sion.
KY: It was right next to Sion. You put Yuki Kaji, right?
YK: Then two guys asked me to make my own stickers.
KY: Right.
YH: Right. I remember that.
YK: It was a lot of fun.
YH: Oh, it’s little Sion! [during the flashback to Sion being
questioned by the Bureau of Security]
KY: Little Sion!
YK: Little? Yeah, I guess it’s Little Sion.
KY: Shrimpy Sion is cute!
YK: Don’t call him that! You’re going to see Safu soon!
KY: Yep, I know…
YK: She’s going to start talking. Do you remember this part?
[regarding the scene where Sion and Safu get coffee together]
KY: I remember it!
YK: It’s only eleven episodes long.
KY: Right!
YK: It has a limited number of episodes, but that’s part of what
makes each and every episode so memorable. Don’t you remember
all of them pretty well?
KY: I sure do!
YK: This downward slope comes up in several episodes, so it’s
memorable. [the stairs in Lost Town near Karan’s bakery]
KY: Yep! It is, isn’t it? It’s amazing how well they portrayed
the feeling of the town inside of No. 6! They put a lot of
detail into it.
YH: I personally like this situation where they’re walking down
the slope at sunset.
KY: Yeah!
YK: Sion and Safu are walking down it now, and later his mother,
Karan, will walk down it with Safu.
YH: That’s right.
KY: She’ll walk with Karan! And Lili walks along this road
countless times.
YK: Right. I remember seeing that.
KY: Yeah… [Safu comments on Sion’s behavior] Safu is very
observant. Just what I’d expect of a young lady!
KY: This is the scene where Safu sees through Sion, isn’t it?
YK: She’s going to get drawn into a lot of stuff. Same for their
coats!
YH: Right!
KY: Oh, their coats!
YK: It becomes a pretty big key word.
YH: It sure does!
KY: “Coat” is a key word!
YK: It becomes key.
KY: Safu’s coat and maybe her scarf are key words, right? I hope
you get to see why!
YK: Here’s some trivia for you.
KY: Trivia? Okay.
YK: Remember the scene with the robots in the park?
YH: Right, right, right.
YK: Remember that?
YH: I remember that.
YK: I think that those who have watched the show already
noticed,
KY: Okay.
YK: but there is No.1, No.2, and No.3.
KY: No.1, No.2, and No.3?
YK: They’re cleaning robots.
KY: They’re cleaning robots?
YK: We’ll get to see them later.
KY: You only get to see them for a split second.
YK: Right.
KY: But if you look closely, they’re adorable!
YH: Right.
KY: What was No.1? An elephant?
YK: An elephant? Was No.1 an elephant?
KY: Was it an elephant? There’s an elephant, a giraffe, and a
penguin.
YK: And a penguin.
YH: A penguin…

YK: No.3 is the most, you know?
YH: Right!

YK: It’s the most memorable.
KY: You get to see it in action.
YK: But that won’t be for a while.
KY: Right.
YK: So, their motifs were animals.
KY: Right.
YK: Apparently there is a reason for that.
YH: Oh, really?
YK: Director Nagasaki was the one who added them to the show.
KY: Okay, so?
YK: Since this series has so many serious scenes,
KY: Uh-huh.
YK: he wanted to put in as many cheery scenes as possible.
KY: The director seems to like animals a lot.
YH: He sure does!
KY: Seriously!
[“I want to have sex with you.”]
YK: You just said it!
KY: There it was! No-oh-oh-oh!
YK: Man, even after having read the novels,
KY: Yes?
YK: that scene made me jump.
KY: It’s an important scene, isn’t it? She said it really
bluntly, but I don’t think Safu, how to put it? I don’t think
she was just throwing that out there. I think she was confessing
her feelings for him!
YK: Yeah, that’s right.
KY: She was, wasn’t she?
YK: She was.
KY: Okay. But do you think Sion understood that she was
confessing to him?
YK: I doubt it.
YH: But he seems to feel kinda bad about it.
KY: He feels really bad about it.
YK: It went over his head, but…
YH: He feels put out, doesn’t he?

Episode 2, part 2:
YK: Because he didn’t realize she was confessing to him. She’s
told him she likes him, but I don’t think Sion gets the concept
that equals going steady.
YH: It doesn’t…
YK: That’s why Safu calls him a “child” and “naïve.”
KY: He just said he’d ask her about it in two years.
YK: He sure did.
YH: I actually really like this exchange. It’s like, “In two
years, I’ll ask you if you want to have sex.” “Wanna have sex?”
just sounds kinda sharp. This works well.
KY: It works since they’re so close.
YK: Yeah.
[Nezumi has his first line through the rat]
KY: Ah! It’s him!
YH: Mission: Impossible!
KY: Here he comes! It’s time!
YH: Or something.
YK: Yeah, this is…
KY: Isn’t the music here just too cool?
[car zooms by]
YK: Voom!
YH: Wow!
KY: Watch out for the car!
YH: Watch it; that was dangerous.
KY: That was close! This is pretty! [cuts to the steps outside
the bakery] The scene changes are pretty.
YK: Safu must have been shocked.
YH: Yeah!
KY: Yep.
YH: I like this scene, too.
KY: Yeah! He left her behind.
YK: She wants an explanation.
[“Were you asleep?”]
YH: Don’t ask if he was asleep! Sheesh! “I’m sorry, I wasn’t!”
KY: Hosoya is writing in agony! [in regards to the scene where
Shion is on the balcony at night] Look at that starry sky!
YK: Isn’t it pretty?
KY: It certainly is!
YH: I love this sky! It’s too much for me! It’s the Milky Way!
KY: The Milky Way? That’s the Milky Way?
YK: Those aren’t rokutousei… But what will the stars be like in
the West District?
KY: But I bet the stars will look even prettier from the West
District.
YK: Yep! I bet they will.
YH: I’d think so. [Sion and Safu’s call ends] “Sion, you jerk!”
KY: “Sion, you jerk!”
YK: It can’t be helped.
[Lili enters the bakery]
KY: Oh, she’s cute!
YK: That’s Sumire’s voice.
KY: It’s Sumire!
YH: It sure is.
KY: It’s Lili!
YK: It’s Sumire.
KY: And that’s Yoming. Uncle Yo?!
YK: I want to eat some bread.
KY: I want some bread!
YH: Doesn’t it look good?
YK: It looks good, doesn’t it?
KY: I want some cravats. [they originally put ciabatta here for
some reason??]
YK: Eh?!
KY: Eh?
YK: That threw me off! I thought you meant a rat, not bread.
KY: That’s not what I meant!
YK: You meant the pastry, right?
KY: Right, right.
YK: That really shocked me!
KY: I meant the original meaning of the word.
YK: I wondered why you’d want to eat Nezumi when you love Sion
so much.
KY: I’ll eat you up!
YK: Poor Nezumi!
KY: Squeak! But I bet Sion likes his mom’s cravats. I bet he
helped her with the cravats. [again with the ciabatta??]
YK: You think?
KY: I’m sure theres is some on one of these shelves!
YK: Do you think his mom makes that?
KY: There’s no way that hairless Sion would approve otherwise!
YK: Don’t call him hairless! He has some! But this bakery
doesn’t focus on breads.
KY: It sells pastries! Pastries… I’m sure she has some! I take
the side that she has some.
YK: What side?
KY: The one where she has it! [Sion comes downstairs] Good
morning, Sion.
YK: Safu just said that… But you know, Sion and Karan have…
YH: He’s a good boy.
YK: …similar airs about them.
KY: Their faces actually really resemble each other!
YH: Yeah! He definitely takes after his mother.
KY: Yeah.
YK: His father is shrouded in mystery.
KY: His dad sure is. Sion’s dad…
YK: This… After this scene…
KY: Yes?
YK: See? Sion’s mother gives him a little peck on the forehead.
KY: Kiss!
YK: According to rumors…
KY: Kiss!
YH: Yeah?
YK: According to the rumors…
YH: Yeah, uh-huh.
YK: Remember how Safu kissed Sion in episode 1? And he kisses
Nezumi later. We get to see different types of kisses in various
memorable situations. Each kiss has a different meaning.
KY: So all the kisses have different meanings?
YK: That’s right.
YH: right.
YK: It’s like, “What does each kiss mean to Sion?” Apparently
that’s why they were put in the story.
KY: Then you should pay special attention to the kisses.
YK: They’re important. [Sion arrives at work] It’s Yamase.
YH: Yamase!
KY: Yamase!
YK: It’s Yamase, who dies in his first episode.
KY: He dies!
YH: Ah! Isn’t that a Sampo? [on Yamase’s desk]
YK: You’re right!
KY: Sampo! Sampo!
YK: It looks like a pot or something.
KY: What is it? What do you think that Sampo is?
YK: A figurine!
KY: Probably a paperweight. Yamase!
YH: Maybe coffee comes out of it.

don’t seem that different from ours.

[shot with all the monitors showing the park]
YH: It’s scary how everyone is watched in No. 6.
KY: Yeah…
YK: Here’s the line!
[“Yamase, it’s possible that the authorities have been
manipulating information…”]
YK: You’re being recorded.
YH: Now he’s done it!
YK: What could have recorded…
KY: Don’t tell me that Sampo recorded him…! Now he’s done it.
YH: That was the recorder?!
YK: It’s for eavesdropping!
YH: But it’s so obvious!
KY: Its eyes just gleamed! It has a camera hidden in it. [the
Sampo wasn’t in the shot, she’s just kidding]
YH: Yamase? Yamase?
[Yamase starts dying]
KY: Yamase!
YK: Yamase!
All: No!
YK: If Sion saved him, he may have stopped aging like Sion does!
It’s too late!
YH: He ran out of time!
KY: Yamase’s already bald!
YK: Yamase aged quickly, didn’t he?
KY: It was fast, wasn’t it?
YH: It was fast.
YK: Sion was pretty, you know? [Yamase is dead] Ah!
YH: Ah!
KY: Ah!
YK: My back would give out, too.
KY: This is probably the most grotesque scene in the series.
YH: What a shocker!
YK: Sure is.
KY: Yeah…
YK: Something’s sprouting out! People unfamiliar with the story
probably didn’t understand what’s happening. They’d be like,
“What?! What?! What?!”
KY: Or, “Eh?!”
YH: Or, “Why’d that come out of him?!”
KY: “What’s that?”
YK: It’s all slimy!
KY: Gross!
YH: Crap! I’m getting goose bumps!
[YK and KY sing Kaze no Requiem while YH screams]
YK: Well, that’s it for Part 1.
KY: Yep.
YH: The sound of its wings flapping sounded real!
KY: Yeah, seriously!
YK: From here out, the story moves at an amazing speed!
YH: Yeah!
KY: Sion tumbles down further and further.
YK: Aren’t the next fifteen minutes amazing?
KY: Yep!
YH: Yeah!
KY: Isn’t episode 2 amazing? [security guard speaks] There’s
another nice voice. “Rank A.” Murakami said that line.
YK: They record everything…
KY: Yeah…
YK: …in detail.
KY: It’s scary how they’ve recorded everything up to five
minutes ago, isn’t it?
YH: Yeah.
YK: My…
YH: They’re taking him away.
KY: They’re kidnapping him!
YK: “Stolen away” [sung as in Kaze no Requiem] “Sion is stolen
away by the Bureau of Public Safety”
[YH and KY join in]
YK: That’s what happened. Eek, that’s scary! There…
YH: The music sounds ominous.
KY: Yeah, it’s coming up.
YK: You’ll catch… a quick glimpse of his mom.
KY: Scary! That’s scary!
YH: Listen to that. [in reference to the recording of Sion]
KY: They taped him!
YH: Why do you think they recorded him?
YK: I bet he’s been marked since that one incident!
YH: They probably--
KY: They must have marked him!
YK: They’ve probably been recording him ever since he helped
Nezumi escape!
YH: That makes sense.
KY: Yikes! This is a scary place.
YK: It’s amazing nothing has happened until now.
KY: He spent four years in peace. He didn’t do anything, you
know?
YK: Does this mean his conversation with Safu…?
YH: Probably!
KY: Ah, they already bugged him!
YK: I see!
KY: It’s his bracelet!
YH: It was probably the bracelet.
KY: It was the bracelet!
YH: There was probably a hidden…
YK: …recording device, right? Then that means they recorded
Safu’s conversation about sex.
KY: That’s embarrassing!
YH: That must have thrown them off!
KY: That wasn’t public information! Sheesh!
YK: The person who heard that must have snorted!
YH: Hey, now!
YK: He might have laughed at them!
KY: It made some stiff guy snort!
YK: Right!
YH: Right, right.
YK: “I’ll tune out just for right now.”
KY: “Just for now!”
YH: He’s nice! He’s just a wee bit nice!
KY: “I want to live, guys!”
YK: The big pot has made its appearance. [referring to the Sampo
on the bridge]
YH: And here he comes!
[Nezumi makes his appearance]
KY: There he is!
YH: Who is this guy? Well!

KY: He’s kinda tall!
YK: It’s Nezumi! Not everyone recognized Nezumi--
KY: I’m really cool for recognizing him right off the bat!
YK: There are some who may not have instantly recognized him.
KY: Right. Wow!
YK: My…
KY: The first time I saw Nezumi in this scene in the anime, I
thought he was stylish.
YH: How so?
KY: Well, he’s wearing that cool jacket, you know?
YH: Yeah. When he was a kid…
KY: Yeah! He was in a baggy shirt.
YH: Yep. Right, right. It was all baggy. Same as in the opening.
KY: When he first entered the scene I thought he looked like one
of those stylish guys from Harajuku.
YK: Harajuku?! From Harajuku?! Seriously, Harajuku? [Nezumi and
Sion are both in the car now] They’ve been reunited.
KY: It’s like, cool how the two ends of his scarf flutter behind
him when he runs.
YK: Yeah… Now that I look closely, Rat is really white.
YH: He sure is, despite having lived in a harsh environment.
YK: Right, right. Normally you think he’d be dark with a tan.
KY: I figured it out! This superfiber cloth can also block UV
rays.
[“Superfiber cloth?”]
YH: He just said it! Your timing was impeccable!
YK: It’s the superfiber cloth!
KY: Superfiber cloth!
YK: It’s hard to tell what “chosei cloth” means just by
listening.
YH: Yeah, it is. I couldn’t tell.
YK: “Cho!” “Cho” means “super!”
KY” “Cho!” Super!
YH: So it’s superfiber cloth!
KY: Superfiber cloth!
YK: And that’s what it means, everyone.
KY: It’s superfiber cloth.
YK: Please go back and read the novels anew.
KY: Okay!
YK: Thus Nezumi has saved him.
KY: Right.
YK: Now they’re going to make a run for it.
KY: They’re fleeing!
YK: Yasukiyo, please share some behind-the-scenes info for this
spot.
KY: Okay! During the escape scene after Nezumi rescues Sion,
YK: Uh-huh.
KY: there’s a spot where they race down a hill.
YK: That’s going on right now!
KY: Right, they’re descending the hill. He takes his ID and
“Ugh!”
YK: What?
KY: “Get rid of it!”
YK: What’s his problem? Well, he has people waiting for him.
KY: Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! [in time with the flashbacks]
YH: Right, right. And he… throws it away!
KY: He throws it! Mom!
YK: He tossed it.
YH: Yeah.
KY: He tossed his ID bracelet. And then squeak! Squeak, squeak,
squeak! That rat picks up his ID and runs off. Believe it or
not, but up until this point,
YK: Uh-huh.
KY: Fullmetal Alchemist’s Director Yasuhiro Irie drew the key
animation for this scene.
YK: They used a big shot!
YH: Wow!
KY: Supposedly he drew that scene.
YH: He drew that…
YK: The action in that scene was great.
KY: Right.
YH: It had a lot of emotion.
KY: Really, he made Nezumi’s movements so smooth!
YK: And now…
KY: It was like, “shwoosh, shwoosh!”
YK: Sion’s calmed down.
YH: Sion’s all calm and collected.
KY: Right.
YH: He feels safe, huh?
KY: Sion doesn’t act distraught, does he?
YK: Nezumi has the guts to say he’s taller, but Sion retorts
right back at him.
KY: You’re right! Nezumi is really white!
YK: He’s so white he’s pale!
KY: He’s white! He’s pale!
YK: He’s the same color as me.
YH: He’s the exact same color as you, Kaji!
YK: Yeah. I may have been raised in the West District.

YH: He’s pretty serious.
KY: He seems so naïve, doesn’t he?
YK: It’s like he only evaluates things based on his own values,

KY: He has innocent eyes.
YK: But over time he starts to develop a better understanding of

YK: He surpasses Nezumi’s expectations.

YK: Or so it seems.
KY: He grows and matures, but now he’s still naïve.
YK: Yep. I believe that now. I originally thought that he was a
resilient kid with a strong backbone. But looking back now that
we’re done with the recording, he doesn’t seem to have broken
free from his soft environment.
KY: He’s still very innocent at this point.
YK: Isn’t he? Even his expressions will change.
KY: Yeah, they will!
YH: Yeah, uh-huh!
YK: I can’t believe Nezumi right there! [when Nezumi speeds up
the car to crash through the gate]
KY: 100 km/s! They hit 100 km/s!
YH: Freaky! That’s scary if you think about it.
YK: Yeah!
KY: It’s more--
YH: This is scarier than a roller coaster!
KY: Scary!
YK: Just yesterday he basically went on a date with Safu.
KY: Yeah!
YK: He probably never dreamed…
YH: …of this!
YK: that he’d be in a situation where they’d lose the roof of a
car!
KY: Yeah. This was his very first roller coaster experience.
YK: Yeah! So, do you think No. 6 has something like an amusement
park?
YH: What do you think?
KY: An amusement park?
YK: Village district!
KY: Village district?
YK: It seems like they’d have one.
YH: Doesn’t it?
KY: I wonder…
YK: But I don’t know if they actually have one…
KY: Even if they did, there would be a bunch of pickpockets.
YH: Check out Nezumi! [Nezumi’s puts on goggles]
YK: Nezumi in goggles!
YH: He’s kinda… he’s kinda weird, isn’t he?
YK: He is, isn’t he?
KY: I feel like they’re about to do synchronized swimming.
YH: That floor looks real.
YK: Nezumi’s super cute when he jumps. [into the sewer]
KY: Super cute! Boing! He extended both his legs!
YK: Wow! This is something else!
KY: Isn’t it?! Sion…
YK: I’d love it if Sion took off his coat.
YH: Yeah, yeah! I remember you mentioning that before!
KY: Good point!
YK: I bet it’s stinky and heavy.
KY: It’s got to be heavy!
YK: Even just carrying it would be a pain. He’s soaking wet.
KY: He’s so soaked.
YK: But so is Nezumi.

All: No!
YH: What is that?!
KY: No!
YH: What was that?!
YK: I hope it’s just an itchy rash.
KY: I know! [Nezumi opened the manhole cover] I love how Nezumi
peeks out.
YH: I love this sky. I love it!
YK: I love this sky.
KY: This sky?
YK: This is the first time Sion’s been in the West District.
KY: Right.
YH: He made it.
KY: Yeah! Once he comes to the West District, the world takes on
a yellow hue. There’s a blue hue inside of No. 6. It gives the
image of a clear blue.
YK: It’s blue.
YH: It does.
YK: It doesn’t have sand, dirt, or dust.
KY: The world becomes colorful when they enter the West
District. Yeah…
YH: It looks kinda like a painting.
YK: We get to see a lot of different shots of the city.
KY: Right.
YH: This song matches it perfectly.
YK: It’s scary!
YH: It has this hideous feeling to it.
KY: Right. It feels like No. 6’s music could swallow you up.

YK: Most impressive.
KY: Amazing.
YH: And here at the end, Nezumi says his big line.
KY: Check out that wall. Right.
[“Welcome to the real world.”]
YH: This is the real world!
YK: Right. Everything until now was all an illusion.
KY: It was all an illusion! It was all an illusion!
YH: We don’t monitor all of your actions!
KY: It was all a dream.
YK: Well, that’s episode 2.
KY: Right.
YK: We’ve just watched through it.
KY: We just watched through the episode.
YK: Yasukiyo, what did you think?
YH: How was it?
KY: Well, episode 2 took some crazy turns. Actually, we casually
chatted right through some big scenes, didn’t we?
YH: The show kept on going while we were busy talking about the
noitaminA shop!
KY: We skipped right over stuff! It feels like we plowed right
on through. Yeah…
YK: Well, in the episode, after the closing credits, there is an
illustration of one of the scenes.
KY: Right, there’s a final illustration.
YK: I believe we get to see one of toi8’s illustrations and hear
a line. Every week, Takeeda of Fuji TV carefully selected a
major line to use.
KY: A major line?
YK: During their discussions about what picture to use, they
also discussed which lines to use. Careful consideration went
into selecting which line to use in each and every episode.
KY: Okay.
YK: The lines are pulled from the next episode. Since they don’t
have an animated preview,
KY: Right.
YK: they needed it to represent the episode.
KY: Right.
YK: That’s what they were going for.
KY: So they didn’t randomly pick out those lines!
YK: That’s right!
YH: Exactly!
KY: It was all thought out!
YK: It’s amazing.
YH: They had strong resolve!
KY: Yeah!
YH: You can really tell.
YK: If they asked for a simple sketch, they’d get something
super high quality.
KY: It’d be super high quality! Seriously, this is all such high
quality.
YK: Well, it originally didn’t have preview. The previews that
were put on the official site have been added in.
KY: Right. The DVDs come with previews!
YK: Right. That’s right.
KY: I was really hoping they would put in some interesting
previews.
YK: Yeah!
YH: Yeah!
KY: Are there any?
YK: Does it come with some?
KY: Maybe it’ll come on after this.
YK: It’s in the special menu!
KY: You can check it out in the special menu!

Again, sorry for any errors. This takes a long time to do
(like... the entire day) and by the time I'm done I'm like "I
can't read anymore." I may go back and check it all when I'm
done doing all of them. In the meantime, enjoy the commentary!

*-* Ahhh! Oh god, it's so much text. I can understand why you
need a entire day. Please don't overdo it. >,< *gives you food
and pillows filled with food*
This time, Kaji didn't talk so much, they balanced each other,
also I think Hosoya is still the calmest one. XD
The part where they are singing and Hosoya is screaming is
funny. XD Or when they sing that they captured Shion and use the
kaze no requiem melody. Haha. :3
I think that's the best part.

SERIOUSLY?" Yeah man no-one wears their pants that way Nezumi
get on with the trends XD Even Hosoya admits the goggles are
less than stylish.
This is super appreciated, thanks again so much for your
efforts! And we can already write a bunch of interesting facts
from these =)
