That's true!! Elyurias did want them healthy. That's also why
West Block citizens didn't fit the criteria (because starving).
but if fitness was a requirement, that doesn't quite make sense.
I could've sworn the whole buzz about the killer bees was that
they didn't know who would be next (i.e. there's no correlation
between age, gender, status, etc.) I can't remember if physique
was on the list. But if only physically fit people were being
hunted, then I feel like someone would've caught on. [s](Only
the physically fit are being eaten! Time to get fat!!) [/s] Or
are we just assuming that everyone in No.6 was in shape? If so,
did Shion call the No.6 researchers plump just because he'd been
surrounded by very thin people for the past few months and that
had become the norm? But then Rikiga's constantly referred to as
being on the chubby side too. :C

BACKTRACKING. I don't think either thinness nor muscles were
admired by citizens of No.6. I feel like they didn't do things
such as "admiring" because then it would imply you're not happy
with your status quo and that you are wanting more than your
position. (was that allowed? I know unhappiness isn't allowed).
WHOOPS. This is also not a cute or funny headcanon. Man, my post
is just a trainwreck.

@Meopat: I think it's less 'physically fit' and more 'able to
change your lifestyle to fit what the bees want', if that makes
sense. Like the hosts would start to avoid danger and eat
healthier and stuff, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were
already doing that. I can't find it in the novels right now, but
this was in the guide:

But yeah, Shion did call out a lot of people on their body -

that comment XDDD Though then again, Nezumi kind of brought that
into the scene himself, huh.

If Nezumi comes back pudgier, is Shion going to call him out on
it?!
Or what if they reunite, then Nezumi gets fat in No.6 because of
Mama's cooking and Shion calls him out AND NEZUMI LEAVES AGAIN

omg. Nezumi jump roping away into the sunset.
He's always been super attentive to the salt-content of soup. XD
I wouldn't be surprised if Nezumi actually watched his figure.
(or maybe he's a health freak or has picky taste buds. :B or
maybe it's all of the above?!)

Hm… I’m not that sure about it. I think he would like to eat
more. I remember him complaining about not enough food every now
and then in the novels.
For example here:

In Shion’s mind, it’s a decent dinner, but Nezumi wants more. XD
Ok, he’s still growing and he’s a tall boy, no wonder he needs a
lot of food. Boys can eat a lot. ^^°
Ah, I think Nezumi is also very fond of meat pie. (Or meat in
general. XD)
And concerning fish… Shion says Nezumi doesn’t like fish, and
Nezumi says: “I can’t eat raw fish, because it’s too dirty
here.” He can’t be picky about his food. (Ok, I guess he eats
fried/cooked fish, but doesn’t like it that much… but he would
eat it.) I think he’d be picky, when he has the chance to be
picky. “Uhh, Shion…I don’t like grapefruits… when I try to eat
them the juice is splashing into my eyes! >,< And I don’t like
fish… I don’t like broccoli… I don’t want to eat little trees,
Shion! Get me meat pie! And a steak.”
Hm…somehow I think he doesn’t have a sweet tooth… and he likes
mild food. Not too salty, not too sweet, not too sour, not too
spicy. Maybe he prefers natural flavors of ingredients, because
he was born in the forest and ate stuff growing in the forest in
his childhood.

@Ahiku: haha, yeah, Nezumi does complain about not getting
enough food quite a bit, huh. He really is quite the diva
sometimes, so I can kind of imagine him being picky if the
situation allows it, and to complain if he has no other choice
XD;
I don't know how canon it is, but that leaflet by Hinoki Kino
seems to indicate he doesn't like fish period ;) I don't know
though, the guide put in a question mark at raw fish. Could go
either way, but it's clearly not his favourite dish.
High five on headcanoning Nezumi not having a very sweet tooth!
Though I guess he can make an exception for Karan's baking
depending on how sweet she makes it XD I do think he'd prefer
dark chocolate over milk, because uh reasons. (Also, cheese
muffins. Because why not, for the puns)

Oh yeah, I also think he prefers dark chocolate. But cocoa and
cherry cake will always be appreciated, since it brings back
memories and he was nearly starving when Shion fed him this
stuff. (But ok, he was a kid back then. Maybe he really liked it
then.)
I guess Shion is quite the sweet tooth. Cherry cake... he had
stuff to make cocoa in his room in Chronos. ^^° But he also
seems to be a small eater...
I could imagine SHion eating sweet stuff between his meetings,
but also not that much. Karan said in beyond that he's gotten so
thin.
His food schedule is probably lile: No breakfast... coffee to
go, muffin or another sweet pastry between the first and the
second meeting, coffee, an apple in the next break, coffee, some
kind of weird vacuum packed energy jelly to drink, coffe... and
when he comes home in the middle of the night, he's eating
nothing or maybe a piece of bread... unless Karan wakes up and
prepares a decent late night meal for him.
I could imagine that he's drinking his body weight in coffee and
that his habits get better when Nezumi is back, because Nezumi
is always hungry and he forces Shion to eat properly as well.
(But he's also diva like and picky.)

Okay, reviving this thread again...
Nezumi is a Pokémon...a rat-like one... his evolutions are
Nezumini, Nezumi and Nezumega and he attacks with knifes. He
could also be a Digimon... I guess you just need to add a -mon
then... Nezuminimon, Nezumimon, Nezumegamon. X'D
And Shion is his trainer/digimon partner... ^^°

would be Attract. Which always works regardless of gender
because screw the rules XD
Hmmm would he evolve by leveling or by a certain stone or by
happiness/affection?
(I know nothing about Digimon sorry, though it's a shame I can't
add to that because Nezuminimon sounds like the cutest thing
ever omg)
