Awww, cute is also okay! ;D I like that headcanon.
Shion should spoil Nezumi a bit with fancy fried quail eggs.
Ah, Nezumi in a supermarket would be really cute too. So much
food he has never tried before. ^^ (But I think Inukashi would
be even cuter then X'D)
I could also imagine that Nezumi likes helping Karan in the
bakery, but sucks at baking and makes a horrible mess, for
example dusting pastries with way too much powdered sugar, and
when he tries to pipe cream into a cream puff the thing
explodes.
In the end he's just allowed to sit there, clean the used bowls
and lick the beaters (and Karan places him so that he's also
attracking customers.)
Ah...can you imagine Nezumi getting fat? XD

That's the reason Nezumi isn't coming back. He got fat and now
he can't fit in his cool pants. How can he possibly show his
face around Shion if he doesn't have his cool pants???

@Vox: cute headcanons all the way! Shion not-so-secretly
spoiling Nezumi a little after reunion really has to happen.
@Weisel: I'm laughing so hard because OF COURSE Nezumi would
consider those pants cool. XD 'No Shion don't look at me I'm
unsightly now I HAD TO DITCH THE PANTS'
@Ahiku: Nezumi would throw such a fit if anyone ever would dare
to mention he might be gaining weight, I'm pretty sure XD 'I am
NOT getting fat Shion how dare you even suggest the possibility'
'I didn't say you were getting fat, I just said you might be
gaining a little -' 'how DARE you' (and then he goes on a diet
anyway because NO FREAKING WAY. He wouldn't last because Karan's
baked goods are just too good, but he'd quickly learn some
self-restraint with them. Y'know, as soon as he'd even allowed
himself to indulge in food a bit, because years and years of
surviving on the bare minimum is hard to just shake off I'd
imagine.)
Also clearly Shion would notice that sometime at night in bed,
because I cannot imagine him not wanting to get close if Nezumi
would allow it. Like they would mostly just snuggle a bit for
quite a while, but Shion would crave every confirmation that
Nezumi was indeed back and wouldn't sneak out again.
... that wasn't anything near funny, I'm clearly not allowed in
this thread.

ALRIGHT I was gone for like 24 hours and I lost track of all of

Nezumi: I bought it today.
Shion: It's a trash can with feathers and weird things coming
out of it.
Nezumi: it's art.
Shion: how much did that cost?!
Nezumi: *really high number**some currency*. really good deal
for such a master piece huh?

Ah, btw... his pants. Karan is some kind of wonder mama, she was
able to fix Nezumi's shitty pants. I mean they are beige...and
were full of blood and I bet there was a hole in them too, since
he got shot in his leg. ^^° Normally you'd just throw that stuff
away, especially since it came in touch with corspes. o_o° (The
other clothes as well. X'D I would never put something like that
in my laundry machine. God, just give that kid some of Shion's
clothes.)

Haha X'D I think it's funny to think how embarrassed Nezumi
would be. I guess he definitely would gain some weight when he's
allowed to eat like a normal human. X'D But he would not get
fat, he'd rather look a bit healthier. But I guess Shion would
love to tease him a bit. Just imagine them lying in bed and
Shion is grabbing his side and even though it's more skin than
fat he's making a weird sound X'D Something like. "We-weee
*squeeze* *squeeze*" He's Karan's son and was able to practise
it all the time not to eat until he's gonna explode. (But well,
somehow I get the feeling Shion is just a small eater.
Especially when he has a lot of work to do... Karan said that
he's getting thinner and thinner in Beyond. .___.) Nezumi is
rather lazy and he's always the one who's ranting because he's
hungry.
(For examle when that seller lady gave them extra cheese. He was
complaining that it wasn't enough and that he's still hungry.
Well, he's a boy... they can always eat tons and tons. XD But
Shion was like. "Eh, you ate 2 slices of bread... o_o WTF.")
Karan's bakery is like the land of milk and honey. :D
... and Shion and Karan enjoy it to spoil him. X'D Sorry,
Nezumi, but you have to get rid of your pants. (Haha, that's
THEIR reason. They hate his pants, that's why they feed him tons
of food.)

Ahiku: Shion squeezing Nezumi chub is something I didn't know I
needed until just now. And wonder mama Karan cleaning Nezumi

SINCE THIS IS A PLACE FOR SILLY/STUPID HEADCANONS...WHAT BETTER
PLACE TO SHARE THIS:
So my friend wrote me a No. 6 crack thing because I have needs.
We have a lot of jokes about tear-down-the-government Shion-- I
tried to explain Shion's bubbling dissatisfaction with No. 6 in
the first few books and somehow the BEST SHION came out of it.
Examples:
Shion: Hey Nezumi...do you ever just want to...lie to the
police?
Nezumi: Whoa, you're one to talk Mr. Tear-Down-The-Wall.
Shion: -dead serious- Let freedom ring.
She wrote me a fic and I just can't keep it to myself it's so
great.
Here are some nuggets of gold:
Shion's thoughts (After angrily punching the back of a locker he
has been shoved into): "he lamely called out, having injured his
priceless botanist’s hand. With a few spare seconds, he thought
of how like the government his situation is. And like the
economy, no invisible hand would do anything helpful."
"But now he was going to be late to his genetics class where he
could finally learn about Mendel’s pea experiment. Other’s had
blown off the section but Shion found that Mendel’s laws were
simply ingenious. The fact that Mendel had almost no contacts
outside reminded Shion of himself and it brought him strength."
"Nezumi was not popular, per say, but he was popular in the
sense that he had graffitied in the bathroom stall that Shion
used every day."
"While looking over Nezumi from his fallen place on the floor,
he can stand to appreciate how a kid like that dismantles the
school system by writing ‘Nezumi is great’ in the last stall in
all boy’s bathrooms. He can appreciate it since the last stall
is the best stall."
I will never be over it.

Also, about the whole Nezumi getting fat on pastries thing. Do
you think that thinness would really be as glorified in No. 6 as
it is in our society? Because I would have to disagree with
that. Think about it - in the West Block, being fat would be a
sign of health. In the city itself, what they probably glorify
is muscles. Not thinness, but health. Why? Because the most fit
can serve the city best. HOWEVER, this could still be funny.
Because it means that Nezumi and Shion would have different
ideas of what body types are most attractive. That might even be
why Nezumi teases Shion about being skinny all the time. So if
Shion put on a little weight, Nezumi would actually be pleased,
but Shion would think Nezumi was making fun of him. Or if Nezumi
put on weight, Shion might tease him about it, and Nezumi would
just brush him off like, 'you have terrible taste, what do you
know??'
Okay here's a good headcanon for you: If Nezumi shows up at
Shion's door in 3 or 4 years in the same damn pants he left in,
then Shion is going to instigate an official pants-burning
party. To destroy those wretched rags and get Nezumi something
sensible. Hell, by that time, Inukashi is probably dressed
better than Nezumi. Please. I need this to happen. I can't stand
the thought of Nezumi wearing that shit for one minute more.

@Vox: ah yeah, good point... though I do seem to recall Rikiga
getting sort of shamed for letting himself go in every sense,
including having gained weight (and Shion wasn't super
complimenting his mother on having put on some weight either -
though I guess the description of Rikiga is from Shion's POV,
but he's also kind of judged for his weight in the guide. Then
again, the guide just doesn't like Rikiga very much XD). But
you're right, Nezumi is indeed all 'you're a twig you need to
eat more' to Shion, so that could definitely be a No. 6 vs. West
Block thing. Super interesting and sorry for letting real world
body shaming slip in there...
Those pants definitely need to go the minute Nezumi gets back,
that's for freaking sure.

After reunion Sion gets strange crazy hobby to take a photo of
each family event they attend with Nezumi, chrismas, new year,
birthdays etc. He love to take photos of all guests (Inukashi,
Little Shionn, Rikia, his mother and of course Nezumi). Karan
happy assist him and make a lot photos for him when he's with
Nezumi (thought Nezumi is often embarrassed or annoyed by it)
Shion print later photos and chooses 5 of them per week for his
desk at his work.
