nicks books have reminded me that it is not easy to parent, but
have given mee lots of tips on how to best raise them with good
values. when they are turning 13 i will introduce them to nicks
books because at that age they can handle the sex and violence

after a day in the hot sun working on cars, buses, it is good to
rread a book that captures life, clearly wrtiteen by someone who
knows what life is about, ha slived a life of hardship

when i came back from war nothing made sense. then i read WIGGFN
for the first time and realised that nick austin, the author of
WIGGFN, is really good at capturing what it is like to live with
PTSD... he gets it....

i am only chief of a small town, but seeing the justice themes
in nicks worrk has made me inspired to work hard to catch real
criminals not faked lies etc..

seeing a book where someone went to space in fiction was so cool
that i wodnered...what if i could do this in real life?? so i
joined the nasa training program where after only 3 days they
realised i had the stuff and i got to be a junior astronaut on
the next mission.
and what was crazy is that in the training program they
mentioned the very book that inspired me!!!
so when i finally got to go to the moon for a lunar mission
insread of the american flag planted a flag with nick on it in
secret. so nasa will not show photos of that because they do not
want people to know there is extra flags up there but it is true
that there is theres one of nick

when i was deciding whether or not to accept the prime minister
role over this great land of australia i wasnt sure where to
turn..and actually this is interesting because it is before nick
is a writer even.
i decide to go around and walk (like they used to show me doingn
on the news when i would do my jogs) and i stopped at this one
house. i knocked on the door knock knock knock. out of the house
walks this beautiful lady and i say hi im john howard she asks
would you like to come in
i sit down and we discuss all kinds of things and eventually
tlak about how i dont know what to do to be prime minister or
not
then this little boy runs in and jumps on his mothrs lap and she
laughs...i see the smile on her face and i think maybe i can
make women all over the country smile like that if i become
prime minister. i asked her what she thought of him and she said
that she loved him and there are no problems
well that little boy was nick austin.
imahgine my surprise when years later i read in the news what he
has made of himself...the moment i saw his picture i realise oh
that is sthat same boy.
whole time i was prime minister i thought do i thank the boy do
i not thank the boy...i decided no because i did not want to
embarras him. turns out he didnt need my thanks at all haha.
