NHBL League Rules

All Games will be played 4v4 with 4 innings and according to the
NHBL Match Rules, with one exception: There will be no warnings
for balks.
League Structure
There will be a total of 6 teams, 3 to each league, the National
and American.
2 Teams from each league will go to the playoffs.
Draft
At the end of each season, all players (except GMs) will be
placed into the draft pool. The winner of the league gets to
choose what pick he wants, runner up gets to choose 2nd, etc.
The draft will be run Snake-style.
Hosting
A person from one of the two teams can host the game, but if
there is a dispute about lag, the umpire can host.
Subs
If a team has more than 4 players present, they may sub that
player in during the game.
A subbed player cannot go back in unless his team loses a player
from disconnect or they had to leave. If the d/c'ed player
returns, the subbed player must be taken out immediatly,
regardless of if they are on base/batting. The team will not get
that runner back, and if they are up to bat they are out.
Pitchers
A pitcher who has already pitched and been taken out may NOT
pitch again.
A team may only have 4 players marked as pitchers, the other
players cannot pitch.
Umpires
An umpire/score keeper must be present.
The umpire will submit the match report.
The umpire can eject a player.
An umpire can only ump games from the opposite division.
Umpires will have priority on things like open GM spots, etc.
All Star Game
Before the playoffs, there will be an all star game where the 5
best players from each league will face each other.

For draft I had this in mind:
Playoffs winning team gets the last pick in the draft, runner up
gets 2nd to last pick and so on
or we have a draft lottery?

yeah but i want each season to be worth something to the GMs, so
if they come first they choose their pick first. it will be a
Snake draft, so it balances out anyways.

if we dont have keepers then the draft style actually makes
sense, each team is equal going into the draft so why not give
him the first pick. Id actually prefer a lottery draw though
like the NBA.
