Volume 2
By: Wazza Date: March 25, 2013, 2:06 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Two weekends have gone by and the league table resembles the AL
East from back in the days - for you baseball fans - where two
teams are dominating and insuring their playoff berth at such an
early stage. As for the rest of the group, the remaining two
playoff slots are up for grabs. In this Volume, we'll try and
summarize team situations, as well as provide some controversy
for our readers.
Bombers
[li]While the Bombers are off to a hot start, it's their
cold-blooded offensive display that irks every one of its
opponents. Their attendance has been the best in the league so
far, with the entire team making themselves available night in
and night out. Wazza feels accustomed to his new-found role,
topping the points chart with 9 assists. From the goalkeeper to
the fowards, everyone has played their role well, but it's
jimbles notronbo's mysterious play that has caught everyone by
surprise. Following their game against the Cyclones, danial got
into a heated discussion and called for a early retirement from
the league. Although the Bombers will miss his presence, look
for this team to only get better as AIR will make a return to
the lineup next weekend following a knee surgery.[/li]
Dynasty
[li]This Dynasty team is nothing short of greatness. After
over-coming a 3v4 match-up just this past weekend, they've
showed true courage, making their case for the best team in the
league. Attendance has been a issue for this team but they have
the right guys with the right skill set to challenge for the top
spot. If this team can manage to get its act together and play
to its potential, things could get enticing at the top of the
league table. blockade has really been the MVP of this team,
restricting opponents to a 1.38GAA. Unfortunately for this team,
they lost a top of the line Waiver spot on a player with
multiple accounts, so they'll have to wait their turn before
they can splash on a big fish. Look for this Dynasty squad to
stay focused as a team and rely on its team defense that its
been striving on for the past couple of weekends.[/li]
Cyclones
[li]Our expert analysis believe that the Cyclones will remain a
middle-of-the-pack type of team, unless they make some roster
changes. The team is in a desperate need of a quality active
player but with their #1 Waiver spot, it's only a matter of time
before they start rolling. Some good talented members were
drafted by Lord of Fail, but whether or not he can lead them to
a playoff berth will rely a lot on the management. A 3-0 win
last weekend has put some confidence in this club but confidence
is only a reflection of consistent performances. Thunderstorm
has expressed on many occasions that he is not too happy with
the way things have gone, so to keep him content could be a
priority for LoF. We'll follow this team more closely in the
upcoming weeks to see if any positive changes have been made,
but for now consider the Cyclones a
playoff-bound-but-a-first-round-exit sort of squad.[/li]
Rattlers
[li]Inactivity. That's the only word that comes to mind when
thinking about the >Rattlers. The team is very unfortunate to
have found a GM (ex-GM now) in BIG MUFFINZ. Although -NDR- has
taken over since, neither of them have really worked on anything
within the club. This team is practically left for dead and to
come out of this hole will seem like a daunting task. Not much
to say here, but until -NDR- smartens up and starts to care,
there will never be anything to write about. Hell, we feel like
we wasted our character limit on this post.[/li]
Disaster
[li]This Disaster squad has really been a disaster. Heading into
the first weekend, a lot of hopes were placed upon them. Heading
into the third weekend now, no one can figure out what actually
happened. Barca-Kes drafted a solid team and even though
unavailability has been a issue, this team looks nothing like a
team whenever it got the chance to play as one. Things have
really hit rock bottom so to say it can't get any worse will be
a understatement. Expect their management to turn this team
around and live up to all the expectations everyone had of them
before. If Drag can make himself available, this team can fly
under the radar and into the playoffs and even do some
damage.[/li]
Penguins
[li]Penguins have lost a lot of respect from its opponents after
losing a 4v3 match-up. A lot of critics weighed their opinions
on the 1st overall selection of the draft, but Sona has done
well for this Penguins team and looks to be the sort of player
they can rely on. They've played the least amount of games so
far so can't say they've lost a lot of ground yet. Look for
Bubblegum to get his players to show up and perform to the best
of their abilities, as he has been successful with his GM
positions in the past.[/li]

You'll realize the summary got shorter and shorter lol because I
lost interest in writing for those bottom-tier teams. Hpns
If someone wants to step up and do these bi-weekly, let me know.

Skills wise yea but personality wise no. I can't imagine Stu
pulling jimmy nutron like troll threads :-\ Yigi maybe because
idk the kid too well.
Plus when he hosted our pre game once, the distance was way
different from when MSL hosts his cuban crisis room.
