Re: NFLUK fan committee stall/fan tent @ fan rally/tailgate

The more i think about it the better idea it is to have a stall.
i also am becoming more and more keen on a booster club. it
would be great if would set this up formally and have it work
off the back of the nfluk. whatever people feel about this id
like to get some feedback as to what the booster club could
involve and offers. i am going to start one for hertfordshire or
just west herts as the whole county may be too ambitious. i have
a number of friends who would be up for something like that.
Thoughts please? :)

I don't think it would be fair for the committe who have paid a
shed load of money to get to the game, to miss out on the
enjoyment of the tail gate etc. This is to promote NFLUK, simply
this could be done by adding a promo sheet to every envelope
sent out with tickets. Also it would be better to get Sky to
continually punt NFLUK on the shows, it is only mentioned when
the FF results come up.

Awesome mock-ups Wellsy!
I don't think I'm going to the game this year (can't bring
myself to cheer for the Pats) so I would be willing to man the
stall during game-time...

Thanks Phil.
I think a new thread is needed on booster clubs as it doesn't
fit just the tail gate

OBSERVATION: There needs to be something to lure people to the
tent otherwise its going to seem like "anoraks corner"
IDEA: Competition - Provide your email to WIN XYZ 1st prize and
50 runner ups (people will be more likely to enter). As for the
competition question, personally I think this would turn a lot
of heads!
"What would you call an NFL london team?"
Tie breaker could be "Why?"
You don't need to restrict the competition just to the people
attending and the flyers should state a closing date a week or
so after the game.
To make everything more interactive they should hire a video
both ( really cheap ) allowing people can submit their ideas.

I voted "Yes" in the poll although that was to say that I think
it is a good idea, not that I would want to man in for any
amount of time. NFL UK should organise and execute the manning
of any tent.
