I havent heard anything. i suggested the 19th june a couple
weeks back as i am training just down the street that day in
london.
No word yet.

In agreement on Ticket master. We can pick our seats at concerts
and events when ticketmaster is not the supplier, and I like the
ability to choose, and not a computer giving outvthe worst seats
whilst clearly holding back on the decent seats. This has been
going on since the first IS game, and I dont see them changing.
The NFL do have to endorse something in the UK away from the IS
game, keeping everything revolving around the IS will be a
recipe for disaster.

Its too bad we cant get more if the committe to be involved. i
would really hate to see it disbanded. we are makjng a
difference.

Got to say the email had a ring of finality on it, if something
is not done. Half the folk that went did so basically as a jolly
as it is clear they have not bothered their arse on here. I am
of the opinion the folk that want to be involved make themself
known or I propose they are dumped and we seek others prepared
to do a turn.
It amazes me that an opportunity like this of helping focus and
steer the NFL in the UK its treated with disdain. Shocking.
Will contact Nick and make mention to him that maybe the
committee be reviewed and those not nothering are replaced. I
will give Ken an email.

That sounds good. i think we have 8 people total that would go
if including ken. i am sure 7 of us went to the last meeting.

I have given Ken a Pm and I am sure he will come onboard. Also
on the mods section at NFLUK this was being discussed and I have
made my views known.

I have to say that I dont feel the committee has any teeth.. I
want to be a part of this but I think I have to feel as though
we have some sway.. sure there has been some success but lets be
clear - it is not always easy to get to London during office
hours with time off work needed also we seem to vanish and like
a sub emerge only once every few months.. I know there may not
be movement that requires involvement but if we are only dragged
out twice a year for opinions or meetings then really what is
the point?
Also I feel committee members should be given VIP access to
things such as the IS games/tailgate/SuperBash in order to be
more visable and able to be educated and have input to these
scenarios.. however if that was not to happen I would still and
do still want to be a part of the committee to help the game
grow and expand in the UK into something we can be proud of!!

Csonka I dont think the essence of the committe was to have
teeth butmore to thrash out ideas and thoughts to promote the
game at all levels. I do agree travelling etc is a major
influence on whether or not you want to take on the commitment
and you do have to factor in this when looking at dates.
I will get controversial here, not everyone disappears of the
face of the earth between meetings, but it gets tobthe point
onlybthe same names are putting anything into it. But lets just
concentrate on tne committe and actually get a few more folk
back on board and progress this.
