       proposal

       Hello all.
We need to get the draft proposal together. Mark has compiled
info based on the IS and taigate . but now we need this to be
put into a proper format to table with nfluk. any takers on
writing up a first draft ? We can then review it and see if
anything is forgotten or needs tweaking.
       Regards
       Chris

Guys I am unable to write this up as I am currently
photographing the New Archbishop this and next week, and I can
tell you I am knackered so far and have another load of
       engagemts next week.

       Hi guys,
Just a quick input. Would it not make more sense to compile two
items to table. For example, we could (as decided) discuss IS at
the next meeting and immediately be told that we cant really
affect this section much. Then what? We should at least have two
items so that if the first "runs out" quick then we have more to
discuss. If we dont fit it in then no bother.

Graham , i think it's a good idea to have a back up proposal.
though i think we all would agree the main proposal needs to be
       written first (drafted).
Is there anyone who would be able to draft the proposal based on
       the information Mark has gathered?
I would do it but i have some serious work deadlines this week.
Once its out of the way, then a back up could be put together ,
which would in all seriousness be the topic for the meeting
       after next.
       Regards
       Chris

I'm much the same. I have recently handed in my notice at work
(moving to pastures new) and for that, I seem to be working all
the hours under the sun. Next week is particularly hellish :(

       Hey Chris,
What kind of help do you need with the proposal?
just for people to submit a few bits or for one person to put it
       all together?
it seems a lot of people are tied up for time, which I can count
myself in but I guess a few people can be better than one and
       just pull it all together?

Hi Kyle. just a draft in a official format from the info Mark
supplied. i have asked Phil and he said he would write it up.
then we can all review it and adjust it based on all or
       feedback.

I know the main proposal is the I.S/tailgate. But one thing that
is boiling up is the inadequacy of the new NFL shop and the
variety cost of merchandise. It is really apparent to a lot of
fans that the NFL are trying to make a quick expensive buck off
of the UK fan, with a very poor selection. £70 for a very
limited shirt, and not limited in the way of say that their is
only a 1000 Brady tops available, limited in choice. People are
going elsewhere to get their merchandise rather than the
official source. In my view this overpricing will turn folks
away from buying, and secondaly the occasional fan who we are
trying to target could possible be put off with the pricing and
       variety.
UK fans are not daft and love their sport, and also the
occasional fan (Superbowl/ the odd game) are going to think
twice about buying stuff, put it this way I would not pay that
       money.

I agree I will be going to Fansedge rather than this NFL euro
shop which is dire in the extreme.

       Hi folks,
I asked Phil if he would kindly take the job of writing up the
draft proposal. He agreed. It obviously hasn't been posted yet
and so I have followed up a number of times. Of course, we all
have responsibilities to work and home and so that has slowed
the process of getting the proposal completed.
Last I communicated with him, he was going to have it finished
and uploaded here on the 13th Oct (Sat).
I have checked a couple of times but as he hasn't replied since,
I am assuming he is tied up.
I have also asked him to send on what he has done, if he hasn't
got the time to finish it, and that we could find someone else
to complete the work he started.
I still haven't heard back. I think we need to give him one more
day and if we haven't heard from him or received the draft
proposal (in whatever form), then we get someone else to do it.
       Watch this space.
       Regards
       Chris
