Wednesday evening is good with me. I would agree with the need
to elect chairs/vice chairs etc. I would be happy enough to
take minutes of the meetings, I have to do so every other week
in work anyway so I'm quite used to taking minutes.
Initially I think we should Roy's comments, maybe firstly have a
poll of suggested topics and decide on a topic for the next
meeting, once decided we could open this as a thread and as it
is discussed more make sup topics and assign members to do
research into different sub topics.
E.g. if the main topic was the IS, then sub topics could be
1)promotion of the game in media 2)fan experience at the game
3)ticket availability 4)efforts to bring in new fans etc. Then
we could do research into each of the sub topics for the
meeting?
Perhaps we could also do minutes of these threads on a regular
(weekly or every 3/4 days) basis to sum up what is being
discussed etc. I be happy enough to do these minutes.
As everyone has differing work commitments etc. maybe we should
post a regular email bulletin, i.e. we are looking to accomplish
this task/decide on this by such and such a date, just to ensure
everyone is given a fair chance to reply and give there opinion?
Cheers,
Andy

I am not too sure what is going to happen later on...its my
parents wedding anniversary so i'll be on the other side of
London tonight, if its not going to interfere with the process
of getting things done can i request that polls are left open at
least overnight? if the topics were open earlier that would be
cool too - as id like to share my thoughts!
I now this is a busy holiday period , which may well explain
why not all of us or not on here yet, but I agree lets start the
process and people will jump on when they can, one advantage of
us having 20 is that we will always have a pretty decent number
to decide on things
With regards to roles, depends on the structure that is decided
upon, I think i do have the capacity to doing more than
participating in the meeting , I'm more of a back office guy so
happy to contribute behind the scenes, i quite like the idea of
doing some kind of round up of whats being said on the main
forum in terms of issues/ideas on a regular basis - znyway if
some kind of role similar to this is up for election please put
my name down as a candidate

Well hopefully there will be a few of us around tonite to at
least get the ball rolling, polls, structure etc.Nothing is going
to be done behind people`s backs but we do need to set the
basics up ASAP and yes hopefully in the coming week more people
will get on to the site.

Andy9999 has expressed the points i think we all have.
Good starting point. but if anyone else has other ideas we need
to get them out there for a poll. ken if u need any help with
this please don't hesitate to ask.

Maybe I came off a little rough there - I just meant that those
people who hadn't made themselves known on this forum by now
would probably miss out on the opportunity to put themselves
forward for a chairperson/vice role, i.e. a role with a little
more responsibility.
I think a newsletter would work pretty well. I have experience
writing newsletters for a few different companies so I could
definitely help with such an endeavour.

So it looks like 12 members have logged in to the site since it
went live,so we are missing 8.

I'm days so have a few hours tonight guys. Totally agree with
earlier points about non moderators taking up the
Chair/secretary posts etc.
So on that point - out of those who are on here so far who would
like to put themselves forward?
