In the end guys, the bus has got to be driven. Currently it's
still in the garage. I hope no one is taking what I am saying
the wrong way, we just have to get started.
As Ken said I am happy to go between the Nick and Emily.

An interesting talking point, with regards to having two major
spokespeople to report meeting happeings back to the main site.
I can see your point S7ani, a sense of entitlement as we're all
committee members but looking at the bigger picture and to
ensure that the operation runs as smoothly as possible, it does
make sense to assign the duty to a member or two. To keep
everyone happy, perhaps the role can be rotated from time to
time? As the committe itself looks to give other fans an
opportunity to join over time, this responsibility will change
hands eventually. Though the main points will be explained by a
particular member/s, that's not to say that us other committee
members can't elaborate, causing healthy discussion over at
NFLUK.
I must praise both Raider12 and Homefield for their sense of
urgency and willingness, we are so fortunate to have been
presented with such an opportunity and need to knuckle down and
make the most of it.
I shall continue to do my utmost to contribute.

HI Again - can't seem to quote on here - gets stuck on 'loading'
not sure if its just my issue
Mark, please can you elaborate on what exactly is
involved/expected from these positions,
Chair
Vice Chair
Secretary/Minutes Secretary
Personally i dont mind who takes the roles in terms of Mod or
non-Mod, I guess the Mods have a certain respect associated with
them on the forum and have the savvy of knowing what to say and
not to say etc so if they are willing to do this on top of what
they do already i have no objection.
As with Jarvatron - im just willing to contribute as much as i
can - I too really want this idea to turn into somethng
meaningful

Hi Shani. How it works basically
Chair (Chairs meetings, takes control of meetings and ensure it
all stays on an even keel)
Vice Chair is the same as the Chair if Chair is not available
Secretary deals with all the run of the mill stuff, getting
dates sorted for meeetings, ensuring correspondence is replied
to
Minutes secretary takes minutes of the meetings and writes them
up on behalf of the committe, presents them to the committe for
approval.
This is for normal committee's were correspondence etc etc comes
in. Its only to give folks who don't have experience of this
sort of thing an idea on how it works. But we do need something
to be able to present firm ideas/solutions/problems to the
NFLUK.

So until we get more committee members logged on we carnt really
discuss and fill those positions and move on to the next step.

Personally Ken I would give it to Wednesday. Thats a good 2
weeks since this has been started. Then I would suggest we get
started with who ever is on and replied to this site.

I agree with that,four of us mods have made the effort but the
point was to have a wide range of people on the committee.
Anyway yes Wednesday is good if the others agree??

I suppose some people could be o holiday. but i agree we have to
get this moving. it would be a real shame if this were to fall
apart.
i am happy to go with Wednesday.
i think another shout out to the other mem bers needs to be done
to remind them of this.
Fyi. i will be away for the weekend in case u don't hear from
me.

Cheers for that Chris,i wil start a thread so people can post
when they are not about,hols etc. I know it seems a bit big
brother watching you but at least we know who is about and who
is not.
