You will see ive started a new thread with a list of committee
member names, and also a little bit about myself if others would
like to follow.Maybe keep that thread to just 1 post each about
them selves and save the chat etc for this thread.

nicely.

Perfect, good work, you're putting that Bill Gates chap to
shame! ;)
Great starting place for us all to contribute toward the cause,
hopefully this is the beginning of bigger and brighter things.
Dan, or Jarvatron.. Don't laugh, in honour of Calvin Johnson,
the absolute beast.

Hey guys.
I no not everyone has logged on to the site yet but we really
need to start cracking on dont you think??,I think we are all
decided the IS game is the main topic to discuss and the
superbash as well as other venues around the UK.
Or do you want me to set a poll up??
Ken
PS when or if we are decided i will start a new thread for the
topic on Monday.

Hi there, i agree we are needed to move on a little with this,
personally I think this site should be used for;
1. How we decide on which topics to discuss rather than which
topics to discuss - i'd prefer a poll on the main forum for
example - maybe we organise ourselves here to put together 5
options here and then post on the main website?
2. How we structure the next meeting - is it going to be 2
subjects and a discussion on each or some other format? Also I
think there will always be some issues developing that the forum
users might want answers for (merchandising seems to be a
current one) - how do we incorporate tihngs that come up like
that too....we do have the window and opportunity to get
answers?
3. How do we structure ourselves - there are 20 of us, and thats
just 'our' side of the table, thats just 6 minutes each if the
meeting were to be 2 hours long, so how do we best organise
ourselves so that we can all contribute effectively before,
during and after the next meetng - one example is to break into
smaller groups and be given specific roles within each group
(which can rotate for each meeting)
4. How we feedback to the site- not all of us post, some post a
bit, some a lot, and some are Mods. Im not sure 20 different
versions of the same story are whats best for everyone - maybe
if finf a good answer to point 3 then this will be covered too
5. how can we help the NFL UK Office? - i guess this is a great
opportunity for not just but the NFL UK office too - so if they
wanted to soundboard ideas of us first that maybe effect the
whole community this would be a good forum(and the meeting) to
do so.
thats my thoughts anyway.......

I like shani's points. however, when i raised the idea of
breaking up.into groups, alastair didn't seem to think that was
the most effective use of the committee as we might enforcing of
with 3-4 different issues and he pretty much indicated one issue
would be all we would be able to raise as it would take time.
I am all up for dividing down to better explore an idea. but i
think it will be one idea at the end of the day.
I agree the IS is the most likely issue to discuss as there are
many facets to it that we could delve into.
i think outside of the nfluk remit we can push another point
which may get some backing from nfluk.
