Maybe you can sound Nick out Mark about the fan tent,i no its
not a done deal but at least we may get a idea if its got any
chance to be set up.

Yes Mark those three topics sound good, great point too Ken
about the game from top to bottom, I think we have a great
chance to help to grow our fanbase and hear opinions from
passive fans to die hards like ourselves because in my opinion
the future growth of the game depends on turning those passive
fans into full time fans.
Maybe we should start a thread on superbash events i.e. regional
or screening venues for games? Or should we deal with the IS
first?
Just a thought but could we maybe come up with a survey on
perceptions of the game both in general and in the UK and the
IS, which we could then circulate amongst our individual
friends, say if each of the twenty had our facebook friends/work
colleagues do the survey, it could give give us hundreds of
opinions??

I would concentrate on the I.S first. Regional parties can be
looked at later. As generally UK teams have something and we
could link up with them.

i had an idea, that i'd like to sound out - its something that
i've seen work elsewhere but i'm not sure if its a good idea for
NFL UK or a terrible one and whether even it would be allowed.
It basically is a NFL UK membership scheme, which we the fan
pays for on an annual basis. This I think may lead to beinefits
for both the UK Office in terms of more sales/and a clearer way
to effectively market and the fans who will have certain
benefits to holding such membership. Benefits could include
first shot/ window at the tickets for the IS Game, maybe
discounts on merchandise, maybe even discount codes for
gamepass etc....maybe unrealistic but i'm sure value to the fan
could be worked out as there would be enough things the NFL
office could offer in my opinion to make it work. This kind of
channeling may be attractive to third party sponsors and
actually may lead to more sales of products for the NFL.
i'm not saying we propose this for the next meeting - just
thought i'd mention it to see what you think and maybe who knows
it could evolve into something that can work?

Sorry bout last night guys.
I tried to get on but internet was down.
I like all the ideas thus far suggested, especially the fan
stall/tent and potential membership idea.
Also, I'd like to see the other tents queuing times to be
shorten as they took up to an hour to get inside.
And how about a meet the players tent (HOF's) where fans could
get pictures and autographs. This could also, dare i say it,
generate revenue.
There is something else I am forgetting. It'll come back to me.
Merchandise is a major issue. Maybe NFLUK could in their wisdom,
not bother buying loads of products to sell online, but take
orders for items listed on ShopNFL, as NFLUK has a limited
selection. NFLUK could be the middle man to SHOPNFL orders.
I am happy to take whatever role the committee deems
appropriate.

You have indeed, but as you said, 8 people are missing and they
have just as much right for an active role than everyone else.
Its going to come to the stage where at the next meeting, these
8 wont get a chance to speak because our so called "elected
leaders" will be.
Personally i want a chance to voice my opinion direct. I dont
want to be in a sub committee of a comittee. Maybe no one else
agrees and thats fine but im running out of time to voice my
opinion it seems.
I woukd prefer a format where we vote on say 2 topics and then
everyone has a few minutes to share their ideas. Obviously
taking minutes would be handy but i dont agree on having 2
speakers or so and the rest of us are at the meetig to make up
nunbers.
