Committee Structure and Positions

Currently we have elected;
Phil Shanahan - Vice Chair
Andrew Goulding (andy9999) - Minutes Secretary
We currently need to elect a Chair,
The role of the chair and vice chair is to liaise between this
site and the main NFL UK forum and to try and keep the meetings
on track, i.e. ensuring everyone gets a turn to speak and the
talk doesn't stray of topic
Anyone have any nominations for Chair?

I would not like to be coincided for the above position, being a
mod we have a lot to do on the main forum and feel feedback from
a non mod would be better.

just an idea, as it seems we have hit a wall with regards to the
chair position, what if we split the role's responsibilities up?
personally i would be interested in being the liason person
between the committee and the forum but I know i wouldnt be good
at steering a meeting effectively, Im not concerned about the
title so if i can fulfill the role of liason officer id be happy
to putting myself forward!- maybe then a mod could then do the
meeting part (but i do realise they have enough on their plates
already)

I would be happy to take up any role.
The only issue I see is that I tend to be online in the mornings
and late at night rather than around 7pm.
If this isnt an issue with anyone else, its fine with me too.

If someone wants to put themselves forward that's fine so long
as there is a proposer and seconded.

I second Chris.
Plus, we keep in contact pretty regularly regardless, so him as
Chairperson would be pretty beneficial I think.

Hi All,
Ok so it would appear that we so far have 2 candidates who have
expressed an interest in taking on the position of Chair.
These are;
Ham89
Chris Wells
Before putting it to a vote (which I would suggest we commence
this coming Saturday and run for 7 days) I think we should give
everyone until Friday to enter any more nominations etc. I'm
going to message Phil Shanahan as Vice Chair to get his backing
on this. We need someone in place ASAP but clearly it needs to
be done via a vote.
