I think the Titans really pissed off the Skins yesterday. I am
pretty certain that was going to be the pick for the Skins.

I read something like that yesterday. Jerry needs to go. Jerry
       is losing his ffuucckkiiinnnggg mind.
JJT stated in an article that Dallas does not have a draft
       philosophy or method.
       This ssshhhiitt is old.

Explain to me again why Smith is such a bad pick? Doesn't he
keep Romo from getting peeled off the field if you had him last
       year?

       You mean Locker?
Here is an interesting read about locker and some other
prospects, the Titans also drafted Casey, who is mentioned here:

why would a team draft a locker? can't they just have one
       installed?

I thought, and still think, that Locker is the best QB in the
draft. People pay too much attention to college accomplishments
as oppossed to what their eyes are showing them.

Locker, imo, could be another Steve Young. They just have to
break him down and rebuild him back up.

Having said that, I don't know if Palmer is the correct guy for
that. Palmer's philosophy is to go vertical, as oppossed to
horizontal and/or shorter routes. Then again, I think he was the
OC when Mark Brunell ( another Steve Young type QB ) had his
       best years, so we'll see.

As far as the Cowboys' draft is concerned, I don't have a " huge
" problem with it. I would have gone in a different direction on
a couple of picks, and would have absolutely traded down on at
least 3 occassion, but in reality, other than Robert Quinn, I
wasn't head over heels in favor of one player over another.
Tyron Smith reminds me alot of Richmond Webb. I wanted the
Cowboys to draft Marcus Cannon to duplicate the 1990 Dullphins
draft of Webb and Keith Sims but I didn't know that Cannon had
lymphoma and would be out of football until 2012.

Still, the Cowboys got a bookend OT for the next 12 years, and
possibly a starting guard in David Arkin. I wouldn't have
selected Murray at all because of the position, but it seems
they're going to revamp the position completely with Marion
       departing and T-Choice probably traded.

I would have liked to draft another O-lineman or two in the
later part of the draft, but, in reality, they wouldn't have
been better than what the Cowboys have on the roster already
competing for positions. All that would have created is a bigger
       log jam.

       We'll see what happens.

       Randy,
Your opinions on the quarter of the Nebraska team that
Skins draft was requested on the Skins board. Get to work.

Really like Niles Paul where he was taken. He could be a big
surprise and the type of receiver who just flourishes on the
West Coast offense. However, he drops the ball more times than
you would like. Other than that, he's a heck of a pick. Keep in
       mind that we're talking about a 6'2, 215 lbs Terrel Owens (
without the attitude ) type of receiver who's not only fast, but
he's strong AND will return kicks.. His hands, just like T.O.'s,
are not that great, which is probably why he dropped so far.

Roy Helu is the absolute PERFECT fit for Shannahan's running
style. Don't be surprise if he becomes THE goto guy and a 1,500
yards - 12 to 15 TD back at some point either next season or in
2012.. IF he hangs on to the ball and IF he stays healthy.
That's the 2 biggest issue with Roy. He's a bit of a china doll
AND he just tends to fumble at the most inopportune times ( Big
games, late in the game, crucial situations ). He's a
frustrating type of RB to watch because you just love his big
play abilities, but then he turns around and drops the rock when
       you least expect it.

Gomes ? Pass.. Overrated.. Go to Youtube and research the OK st
/ Nebraska game. Concentrate on #7 and you'll see how soft he
       is.
