Thanks Mario, I appreciate all you're doing to get us moved to a
stable host. Let us know the cost and we'll all pitch in and
       help.

Mario - like most addicts, I go back and forth from praising you
to wanting to strangle you. But I always appreciate the
efforts. I have always found that the more open the
communication the better. Particularly with this community
where everyone gets an equal say. People get frustrated ,
anxious, or annoyed when they're kept in the dark.
Even just saying that you can't divulge certain things is
helpful. It's annoying, but at least it sets the expectations.
And, we know that the issue isn't as much with you as Shameer.
Of course, remember when several of us wanted to create a new
       board.....this is why.
If, after the board is back up, I were to look for someone to
recreate it from scratch - what exactly would I be looking for?
What kind of coder, website designer, etc? And where would be
the best place to find someone like this? Craigslist? Elance?

If Shameer's protectiveness with the code is still an issue,
then I absolutely, completely do not understand why we stopped
Ricardo from developing the backup board. That makes zero sense
to me. We actually had that thing at an alpha test stage.
Wouldn't have taken all that much more to get it ready to be
operational, and then we just walked away from it.
If Shameer will allow us to move the code to a new host, and
from that point forward give us full control and authority over
the code without restriction, then yes, let's do this move. If
he's going to keep his fingers in this pie and we're forever
going to have issues wanting to modify or move it, then I would
STRONGLY recommend we go back to developing and testing
Ricardo's board with the goal of bringing it up live and moving
to it on a permanent basis.
I'm immensely grateful for all Shameer has done for us, AND I'm
done with letting him hold the board hostage.

Mario, I've got nothing but praise for you. I am sure there have
now been many times where you've said, "what the fuck did I get
myself into with this?" Thanks for forging ahead. Meanwhile,
I'll have to go to other sites and tell people that the things
       they say are their opinions.

Dwight Howard, in his final days as a member of the Orlando
Magic, decided to not attend his kids camp in Orlando two weeks
ago because of the strain it would have put on his back and the
lack of clearance from his doctor.
That reason seemed plausible at the time because he is still
rehabbing the back, however, Josh Robbins of the Orlando
Sentinel reports Howard is currently in China as part of his
yearly promotional tour for adidas. This news is yet another
reason why the All-Star center is despised by a good amount of
       the fan base in Orlando.
According to Robbins, adidas released a statement to the
newspaper claiming Howard was given the okay to travel "just
       last week."
The statement reads: "Since Dwight's injury our focus has been
on his recovery. His health has continued to improve and just
last week he was cleared to travel. We are excited that Dwight
is now able to participate in fan and community events as he
continues to prepare for the NBA season. Dwight is an amazing
athlete and outstanding partner with fans around the world."
This is good news for the Los Angeles Lakers as Howard might be
fully fit by the time the regular season starts in late October.

Honestly, the explanation about Dwight's back vis a vis travel
makes sense. It really is black and white. One day you don't
have permission to travel, the next day you do.
I don't blame the Orlando fans for interpreting that data in a
way that makes D12 look like a punk, but it is what it is.

I guess I'm the only one who's glad we had PX's friend stop
working on the new site when it was in Alpha stage. If we had
asked him to proceed, we'd probably have a functioning board
without all these issues and we'd have to find something else to
       bitch about.

IIRC, PX told him to stop development work because his friend's
time costs money and there were promises to move the LB then.
       But, here we are.

I've let Mario know PX can have his guy work on the new code for
the board. Avidity will serve as the lb backup and can be
pointed to as such. The new board that is developed will
obviously be where the lb is going to be pointed and I'm
assuming can be setup on the host as such. There is in fact
nothing wrong with the code as mentioned. I have requested for a
dedicated server and would pay extra as an option where
data/bandwidth would not be an issue as it may be on a shared
server. I'll see how they respond.
