For the record, my level of effort has entailed a couple of
emails and phone calls. Not much there to appreciate. But
thanks.

Bman - Agreed, I'm done with Avidity. My responses to them was
simply in hopes they get better to save us as a customer. No way
in hell we stay. The question isn't if LB moves - its to where.
I dislike mixing business with pleasure but there is someone I
know who can move the LB to a new host in moments. It sure
wouldn't cost $300.
Just checked - ML owns lakerboard.com & lakerboard.net. I'll
reach out to him so if its Laces, my guy, or we hire someone -
we can get the url pushed over to the correct site instantly.
The avidity one obviously won't work.
And I have no problem with this being out of my hands.

To quote Jean Luc Picard, "make it so".
Let's move this bitch, then tell avidity to go suck down a bag
of donkey dicks.

I feel that BMan's graphic and offensive language is uncalled
for.

Mario - I'm starting an ugly trial tomorrow and that's making my
mood even more foul then usual, and I apologize for that, but
here's the thing....
NOW you know someone who can move the board "in a moment"?
Assuming that's the case....why are we waiting for Laces? How
many people do we need to do it? Why are we constantly waiting
for.....god knows what. Just pull the trigger on the sure
thing.
If you in fact have a guy who can move the board "in moments", I
have to assume that he has the knowledge to recommend a site
that is stable. If he does not....well.....that scares
me.....but if he doesn't, I'm willing to trust Jeff's judgement.
If he's hanging his businesses on AWS, I'd say it's safe for
the board.
Now, if this is a situation where you know a guy who CAN move
it......but you don't know if he will.....again, move on. My
brother designs websites for a living. But he's a flakey piece
of shit, so I know he's worthless. Otherwise I'd have had him
do it long ago.

Netflix, NASDAQ, Pintrest, Shazam are all on AWS. I'm pretty
sure all we need is a credit card and can have everything we
need for free there for the next 12 months.
