Happy new year folks!
And yep.
I said it before and never heard one logical objection to my
suggestion: while we wait for Shameer to upgrade/fix the current
board, move forward on Ricardo's. There's no harm and if Sham
does in the future what he's done in the past (which is say
he'll take care of the board and then disappear), then we've got
a new board. If Sham does come through, we have a backup board
that is far better than this place. Still don't know why we
didn't move forward on that other than some folks seemed to be
overly concerned that it could be interpreted as disrespecting
Shameer.
Look, it's no slight on Shameer, but his life circumstances have
changed. It's obvioius he no longer has the time nor interest to
give the board the minimal attention it requires. That's not a
slam on him, just a recognition of reality. Why we're tying the
board to his ability to do what he's been promising but failing
to do for years is beyond me, and frankly, is really, really
stupid.

My name is John Coktostone. I don't use emoticons unless I am
talking to girls. Girls think a man is morbidly depressed if he
doesn't use emoticons and I specifically emphasize the use of
the happy face. I think it stands to reason that if you use the
sad face over and over, the girls will think you are morbidly
depressed. Sometimes, when a boy talks to a girl, it is with the
intention to eventually put his penis into her. Sometimes, it
isn't. Sometimes, consuming alcohol blurs the line in between.

G......a few of us said "i told you so" 2 weeks ago.
I'll ask it again, never got an answer the first 3 times I
asked, maybe a 4th time will do the trick:
Is there any rational reason not to proceed on Ricardo's board
while we wait for Shameer to fix/upgrade the current board?
Doesn't have to be an either/or proposition, and to me it's a
win/win deal.

Some coke whore called me fat last night. I asked her if she
knew what the Chinese characters tattooed on her forearm meant.
She told me, "beauty, love, and peace." I told her I am fluent
in Chinese and that's not what it actually says. She asked and I
told her, "caucasian trash ho." I told her the Chinese do not
refer to us as white. She left and seemed upset. I don't speak
Chinese or even read it, but I turned the Lakerboard on its ass
when I revealed the fact that some people do speak Chinese.

Whether it's Mock Trial, or new attorney training, I always
advise that as long as your action is a conscious, reasoned,
thought out action - it's ok with me. If you don't get the
result you wanted, at least you can examine your decision
process and see where you miscalculated.
But, when there's no rationale for your decision, you're acting
a damn fool and you're going to get someone hurt.
So let me re-ask Rick's question. What was the rationale for
not pushing PX's board forward?
Several people agreed to absorb the whole of the cost of the
time involved, so time/money wasn't the issue? What was it?
Vaun, you seem particularly offended by the "I told yous," do
you have an answer?
