Dear gomez, i don't know what to say besides sorry. I'm sorry I
diddint support you. I'm sorry I lied about having powers. And
im sorry for the things I did with them. If I could take it back
I would.
Im sorry will have to do. Because this is goodbye, nothing
personal Marissa it's just that you're not the only one looking
to find time. The diffrence is I know exactly where to find it.
And I have the power to take it back as far as I need to.
Unfortunately for you, it comes with a price. A price I have no
problem to collect.

It's good to be back to normal. No gorilla invasions, no rogue
fights, no outlander jail breaks. and most important, I can
finally sleepat night knowing I was able to bring Selina, gomez,
marissa, and darrick from the speed force. Now we all share an
important bond that will be with us forever. Sadly Darricks
accidental death diddint bring us closer. UT I'll do what I've
always done. Move on.
today is my first day back at H.C.P.D After I was mistakenly
presumed dead I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get
reinstated but I'm back. Sort of, the department reinstated me
but they diddint give me my old job back. Some cops call this
place the dump. I don't know the actual name of it. But what
ever it is its where all the cold cases wind up. It's s bit of a
mess.
the dark room is cluttered with random papers.
it's supposed to be a 6 moth assignment. File all the pers get
them cleaned. But to me it's all in a days work.
Selina walks in on me eating my newly "bought" Sandwhich. "Isint
it early for your lunch break?" "Selina? What brings you Here?
Chasing a story down here?" "No, just checking in to see how
your holding up. No glowing hands or superspeed?" "No glowing
hands. Have you got any?" "Actually I diddint come here to
compare super powers. I got ya something." She puts a present on
my desk.
"Hey donovin. You busy? Holy **** that's a fine ass latina
chick!" "Hey tyler." "I need to drop something off. It's garbage
so I thought I leave it with you. It'd from that accidental
death thing you know that pasty ass white guy." "Darrick albert?
We knew him!" "Sure why not. Ima leave it here." "What do you
want me to do with it?" "Make it a damn table i don't know." He
walks with the strange looking ball but trips when he sees Dat
ass! "Crap!"
I grab it and I glows blue. "How'd you do that?" "I diddint do
anything!" Patty walks in "guys I need to talk to you!" "What
now?" "Don't mind me patty I'm gonna get this bootleg tv
working." "Marrisa is dead donovin. She was murdered in her cell
last night. No signs of break ins." "Have you seen the
evidence?" "It hasint come out yet. But when the investigators
talked to gomez he flipped." "Gomez? He was upset last time I
saw him. I can't imagine he'd do that." "Hey donovin if your
gong out can you grab a 40 oz? Ima be here for a while." "I
diddint think you cared about that thing?" "That was before you
found the on switch."
I don't know whether or not Gomez is involved in Marissa's
death. But I'm damn sure going to track him down and find out. I
feel then everyone has been touched by the Speed Force Albert
Marissa Gomez... And Selena. Like it or not we're all connected.
It takes a little doing but with focus I can use that connection
like a homing beacon and locate them. Which in this case leave
me into the heart of Coast City. There is trying to be
inconspicuous.
the subway station is dirty with cracked walls and dozens of
people trying to get on the station out of the corner of my eye
I see Gomez trying to look hidden he's wearing a green hoodie
and a baseball cap and to me that makes him look even more
suspicious.
"Gomez we need to talk!"
gomez kicks me with the force of an Abrams tank. I just sent
flying through wall and onto the train tracks right in front of
an oncoming train I face through the train and land between all
the patron. Gomez definitely has a look of someone on the run
innocent people don't usually have that well s*** . Gomez makes
a break for it into the dark tunnels.
"Gomez stop! What are you running? The police think you killed
marissa!" "It wasint me! It was the same guy who killed albert!"
I run up to him and slam him against the wall. "Killed darrick?
What are you talking about he fell off a roof!" "No he diddint
fall. The killer came after him first. I barley got away. He may
have gotten albert but he's not getting me!"
she throws me through another wall that's getting annoying and
rips off the train tracks as another train comes bolting down.
Oh man. The train jump after reaching the end of the track the
wheels hit my headphones on the side of my head nearly taking
them off. Gotta think fast.
i run around the walls and the floor. creating a wind tunnel.
Good thing I payed attention In physics class. Should stop a
runaway train. I guide It into the station by finishing off by
Making a smaller wind tunnel with my hands. Yep that's gonna be
sore tomorrow.
I still have more questions then answers but maybe this will
lead me to asking the right ones.
like who is gomez running from? If Derek's death was an
accidental then who killed him... And why? I need to get a good
look at Marisa's body find some kind of clue something that
might explain what the heck is going on. This is all pointing to
one individual. But first smile Donovan this is the first part
of my job. Does the billions enjoy taking their pictures and
videos for what seems like hours as I have to stand there
holding my thumb up it's awesome.
these cuts are deep some all the way through her body. Edges of
the lasarations are burnt. She was carved up with something that
also burned her. there are signs of electrocution.. Blood spots
under the skin indicate extraction multiple causes of death.
What is going on here?
Did Gomez manifest abilities and I don't know about? It can't
be. He was generally terrified. How is it possible that someone
killed Marissa and such a gruesome fashion? And what about
Albert? Gomez said he was killed that he didn't accidentally
fell to his death while installing the TV satellite wait the
satelite!
I rush back to the police station and find the dump empty.
Tylers in the corner knocked out good thing you can't hold his
liquor. He left his research here I'll see if he got anywhere.
this... Is not some sort of cable TV satellite... These are
cameras giving Derek's ability to transmute technology and how
this turned on when I touched it I'm guessing... Yep powered by
the Speed Force.
the room goes to a bright white as suddenly I am on a rooftop
afterward Gomez told them about being attacked Albert must have
been scared he would be next. So may be crafted at 360 degree
camera for protection.
"Computer play."
the computer begins a simulation of the last moments of its
activation. Amazing... Be recruited in the mercy of distal
playback had no idea he had the chance to build something like
this. I'm impressed. I see Derek fiddling with the machine
getting ready to put it up... When all the sudden I see a blur
come and Derek it's pushed off.
"Computer. Play back last ten seconds. Half speed."
the blur in a moment in time is pushing Derek off the ledge with
nothing I can do but I do see something it's covered in shadow
except the chest I see my flash symbol? But backwards I've seen
this before I don't know if he's a suspect the next target or
why he adopted my image. but it's time to get some answers from
that Kid Flash!

two people I know we're recently murdered without explanation.
In the only thing they have in common is that they were both
touch for the Speed Force. To make matters worse the killer has
speed powers is wearing emblem like mine. That makes it my
problem it also makes it my fault.

to blur is race around the earth going almost the speed of light
1 red 1 orange so I'm chasing down the only lead I have right
now... Good thing teens arent camera shy he maybe hard to catch
but this kid flash is definitely easy to find he also probably
took my name without asking that's not cool.
the flash catches up to this kid flash and
he's right behind the kid turns and he says "well this is
awkward."
I know enough about this "kid flash" and my old team the Teen
Titans to know he's not my killer. but the way in Bolted when I
confronted him.well the cop in me knows that anyone who runs
away like that is hiding something,though I can't believe this
kid actually thinks he can outrun me.

I kinda feel bad for him, Dad thinks he can keep up. It's
been fun but I should probably stop playing around. "Well it's
been fun." I throw one of my speed disks at his chest. It
bounces back to me and I catch it. I blast off at a faster
rate, seeing him shrink off into the distance.
I can't let him touch me, I may cause a time paradox.
That's the last thing I need, to cease to exist, ugh.

Kid flash and I run through paris and he makes a beeline to the
lourve he throws all the paintings off the walls to try to slow
me down but I catch them and put themost back on. figures no
respect for the classics.

What are these ugly drawings anyway, I have never seen any of
these in my time. Can't be too important if they didn't save it
before the war. I blast into a different Mach speed as we exit
the building.

rouge. I lured him to the sahara dessert. I need a bit of

I hear a confirmation on the other end and wait for the team to

next to him. Flash touches him and a lightning bolt strikes the
two sending both flying back.

so now I know what he's hiding when we made contact the speed
forces connection to time space must have triggered a reaction
show me what I think was... The future? Whatever kid Flash's
tapping into it's not exactly the speed force. Seems alien...
Like not of this world and now I know he's not the killer.
Whoever killed my friends is somehow stealing Speed Force from
them... And likely using it for their own purposes so who the
hell is this kid. If he just slow down and listen we could clear
some of this up at the risk of sounding like my father today or
so damn... Impulsive.

super speed, better lookimg,smarter, and all around better man.
