understand. Last night. Mob rule, the E.M.P it's all connected.
The E.M.P blast that devestated the city three days ago was the
same one created by my electromagnetic generator last night.
When you ran around the machine it was to create a vortex that
would contain the blast, but that's not what happened." "What
are you saying?" "You ran around the machine with such speed
that you sent the E.M.P through time and space, and you know
where it landed." "Impossible doc I don't do time travel." "I
need to show you something."
Elias takes me to a board with news art led and maps of the city

in the five years I've been the streak I've faced many
adversaries. But none as persistent as captain cold. No matter
how many times i put him down, he'd always get up for the next
big score. Looking for strength in numbers he organized a group
of local thugs called the rogues I took them down to. The thing
with captain cold is no matter what, he was always about the
score. Get in, get out he respected the rules of the cat and
mouse game. He'd do anything to win, however his sence of honor
always prevented him from using freeze pistol for murder. But
that's not what I see today.

It's never been personal between cold and me. Somethings
changed, I need to get him away from here fast. energy level 52

the ship almost hits the ice before I make a tornado to force it
away,

but I can't let him hurt these people.
Energy level 83 percent I get hit with ice again "sorry streak

With those new powers he's able to generate a field of cold
around him, my speed my reaction time all dampened gotta stay on
my toes or
I get tackled by him as the other part of the ship falls into

I've worked with patty spivot for a couple of years now. That's
her, the one about to Crack her head in the ice floor. I still
remember when she first walked into the police lab.
Intelligent,beautiful, and forgiving my personality. It took her
less than a year to go from assistant to senior blood analyst in
the lab.I took me two years to get the courage to ask her out.
We've been together for a couple of months now and I would be
pretty bummed if I couldn't get to her in time.

I'm doing exactly what I shouldint be doing. I've learned that
if i run to fast I open up wormholes into the speed force
endangering everyone around. So I made a gizmo to monitor my
speed, and I'm ignoring the danger signs.
one second before the ship crashes into the ice I carry all the
passengers off one by one. "Donovin? " "Hes safely on the other
side of the boat, i know I know greatest hero but" "no!"
The other half of the boat is sucked up into the sky. I ran to
fast! I created another wormhole! I barley miss the hand of a
woman as she and the others are ducked up into the portal, it
quickly closes.
I look at captain cold who Is climbing out of the water, but
before I can get to him another man runs to him throwing him to
a nearby snow pile "I was enjoying yo me good ass popeyes when
this shit happened! And I saw a fine looking white girl on there
ima stab your ass!" I race to stop him and he says "don't look
at me cracker or ima stab yo ass to!" I see the familiar trench
coat and language. "Binshou. Lovely to see you again." "What up
fam. I can't belive this. Wait he dissappeared! " no he's right
there." Captain cold lies on the snow unconscience. "Oh yall go
invisible in the snow so I couldint tell."

"I don't understand whyou you want to help." "Well I'm in the
city and the cops want me for questioning on a drug deal to a
millionare or some shit...which I didn't have a part in so I got

He takes us to a room where a giant treadmill lies in the center
"this treadmill will siphon off excess speed force energy. It
will then store it in to battery cells to report the entire
metro area. Now you will feel a intial jolt when you break the
sound barrier when the cells are full the red light will turn
green, make sure to stop the momentum may carry you past light
speed." "I know what I'm doing." "When you're Done we can think
of a way to get those people out of that worm hole." I already
got an idea."
And it scares the hell out of me. But the only shot I have to
find them is to create another wormhole and jumping Into it. I
can't pretend to know what will happen or what will be on the
other side. But I have hope, I hope I'll find the people, i hope
I can find a way back home." The treadmill crackles with
electricity as a orange portal opens at the end of the tunnel

The light are back on now,
a strange world await's the two speedster as theyears see the
inside of the speedforce. Paths twist and bend for infinity and
the walls are nothing but memories of lives mine and Binshous

two. You're the key to this place donovin, and you're getting me
back home. Even If I have to kill you to do it!" "If you know so
much about me then you know I'll help if I can. But I need to
find someone first." Binshou runs in and knees him in the
facenter "don't make me do this the hard way!" The man gets
knocked to the ground.
"Now you ready to talk?" I say "four people are stuck here, they
arrived not long before we did." "No one's here but me, and I'm
sick of it! I've been here since world war 2 I need to go home!"
"You've been here for seventy years!" "You just dissappeared

past and the present and all existing at the same time this

the speed force is like a giant ball of energy that's always
moving forward. But when it does it creates excess energy that
builds up and needs to be released. When you both tap into your

A ceremony is taking place for the fallen police officers of the
year, Jean mcnility, and Donovin craig.
"In times like these we often dwell on the pain of losing of
those who we love so much. So I want to thank the Hub city
orchestra for helping us celebrate the lives of our members of
the family. They led their lives worthy of celebration. They
paid the highest price for the dedication to our city. They

us off the platform and we fall through the speed force.
All these years in here not only gave turbine powers it caused
him to have a complete break from reality. The speed force drove
him mad.
Binshou makes his hand a propellar and grabs me "sorry man but
I'm getting the hell out of here and you're coming with!" He
drags us both through a portal.
AFRICA
"It is time grodd son. As was done by your father and his father
before him as is by all the sons in gorrila city. You must face
your father in mortal kombat. A fight to the death l, to claim
his name, his memories, his knowledge. And his thorone." The ape
gets up and begins to walk "enough taking let's get this over
with."
"I am not your son anymore, I am Grodd! Supreme ruler of gorilla
city even though you are about to die take comfort in knowing
that as I devour your brain your memories will live on through
me." The gorrilla hits him in the Face "you dissapoint me son.
Words won't save you from my wrath. I'll take joy in the bitter
taste of my son's knowledge." They grapple to a stand still "you

sky forms and a man in a red and yellow suit falls out.

memories. It's not enough, I am now a king, and I hunger for
more." "King grodd, behind you!" The apes turn to see the very
confused man in red "what is this intrusion?" "You... you can
talk?! Where am i!" "He came down with the lighting! Is he the
messenger?" "No, general silverback. I can smell his fear. He's
no messenger he's dessert." The man runs down the street as the
apes give chase. The man gets tackled by King grodd. A few of
the apes look distressed "please king grodd, we beg of you. He
is not prey." "No he is much more look at the symbol, he is
from the light. He is the messenger!" King grodd grabs him by
the neck and sniffs him "I do feel the power of the light
surging through you human, what message do you have for me?"
"The light? I I don't know."
Inside the speed force
the four people look around in distress as one woman grabs one
of the lightning bolt headphone. One man sitting down with his
hands on his head says "man oh man. I missed my finals I know I
missed my finals!" The light skinned man sitting down says "hey
lady your wasting your time with that. The streak is long gone."
"Seriously gomez? She has a name. Hi, I'm Marissa." "Selena
west. And streak just wouldint leave us here. Not if he knew."
The girl says "we don't even know where here is." The kid gets
up from the ground "Selena west. The news reporter right? I'm
darrick. May I see that?" She hands him the headphone "I'm an
engineering major. Or at least I was, I probably flunked out by
now." gomez says "man, how long have we been in here? I should
be hungary, but I'm not." Selena says "must be something about
this place. None of us have been eating or drinking for days."
Darrick says "maybe we're all dead and don't know it. Like that
tv show on that island."

drop this on me?" "What are you afraid of?" "You're kidding
right?, they're already holding public demonstrations denouncing
one vigilante. Now you want to go back out there and play hero!"

it's not a game, with the streak gone someone needs to watch the
gem cities. They need the pied piper." This city does not need
another vigilante. And I don't need you here where people can

None of this makes sence, i don't know who I am or what this

space, it's what allows us to move forward. We've waited
patiently for someone who has been touched by the light. And

stride you take, you keep this world safe. Your destiny is to

grodd slams the apes head through the wall "because it's all
lies! You don't know who you are because you don't matter! You
were sent to me as a gift! I will not let my apes die like those
Mayans I will devour your brain and claim all the powers of the
light! Your fear is palpable, messenger I can smell it all over
you. And with these powers I will not only save my apes. But I
will lead them out of the shadows and conquer the world!"
We are all afraid of something donovin. There are things that
scare us so bad that we feel like cowards. But the thing is it'd
normal to feel that way, in fact it's necessary. There is no
courage without fear. Remember donovin, it's okay to be afraid
as long as you don't let it stop you."

the apes head comes in to but mine but he hits the wall "you
cannot outrun feat!" "That's why I'm running towards it, grodd.

HUB CITY
good to be home. Feels like I've been gone forever. The city Is
back on track things are looking better than ever. Elias must
have put my energy to good use in the months I've been gone.
The scene I find waiting for me shocks me to my lightning tips,
all of my merchandise and billboards burning surronded by people
cheering on the man with the megaphone, doctor Elias "nobody is
above the law! We don't need any so called superheroes putting
our lives and our city at risk. So I say hello to hard work and
accountability and good riddance to the streak!"

A man in an overcoat and a red baseball cap walks into a Rundown
motel.
this place stinks, filthy rooms. Rancid sheets, disgusting
freaks, i can barley stomach it. Until I can control the fire
inside me I gotta stay off the grid.
"Sign here. Alright I'll just need a deposit and you're all set.
Oh and the hot water goes out by 9am." "I think i can manage." A
drunk falls from the stairs and lands on the man "clumsy son of
a" "it was an accident! Don't make a deal out of it, unless you
wanna start something!" The mans face turns to shock as he sees
the baseball hat falls off revealing the burnt skin. "Oh god.
What the hell are you?! Yer some kinda freak!" "I'm not a freak,
I'm a cautionary tale of what happens when you play with fire!"
The man rips off his trench coat and a ball of fire shoots out.
ya I got anger issues. Sometmies I reach a boiling point and
can't control the fire in my belly. Why should i? Let it all
burn.
NEARBY
It's all so surreal, I'm supposed to be back in the gem cities
in the one place that should feel like home, but it's not the
same. That's the way it goes.. everything changes.. it's the one
constant in the universe. The city that was my has changed. The
publics perception of the streak has changed. Dr.Elias, a man I
thought was my friend has changed. And I've changed too. I've
the left the woman I might have genuinely had feelings for and
my life as donovin Craig, faking my own death so that I can
focus on the one thing I was meant to do. Run.
in order to do this I've traded the bustle of Hub city for the
coast, which isint just the toughest neighborhood Coast city but
also has the highest crime rate per square mile this side of
crime alley.
There's little chance anyone will recognize me, which will make
it easier for me to find out who or what is behind all these
arsons that have plagued the city. I guess you can say that I'm
taking a page out of Owlmans book and getting to know my enemy.
Without the Benefit of his bankroll, I'm gonna have to find an
affordable place to say.. an a job to pay for it. Shouldint be
so hard, if I put my mind to it.
although the last time I tapped into the speed force with my
mind I almost ended up with a bullet In my head. Guess I gotta

I'm standing outside of the cities toughest bar, it was made in
the 1800s and was shelter to some of the nastiest criminals,
they diddint and still don't call the cops on the guys in here.

"I'm sorry about the traffic dr. Elias we might be late to the
ceremony." "Not your fault kelson. And when I'm finished with
Hub city traffic will be a thing of the past."
A blur runs down street after street until it finds the
limousine of Dr. Elias, it phases through the door and sits
down opposite him martini in hand. "Streak?" "we need to talk. I
don't care that you're taking credit for the renewable energy
source. But tell me why did you turn the people against me?" "A

Suddenly the news vans blow up as weather wizard and Farenheight
show up. Weather wizard places Farenheight on the monorail as
the pied piper rides in "I got this red!" "Looks like we're
having a Rogues family reunion." He launches piper head first
against a car "but who said you could join?"
the monorail comes by on its first path as Farenheight begins to
melt the track "I hated cold to. But at least his planes weren't
freaken crazy!" The monorail runs off the track about to hit
Farenheight until weather wizard picks it up with wind and
throws it to a building and it goes clear through.
Oh great. I guess mirror master is back to.
"Never doubt a woman's ability to multitask. I eliminated that
bastard Elias and pinned it on the streak. I settled an old
score wit a traitor, i stole a train and killed my brother. Not
bad for my first day as your new leader huh?" "I think the world
of her. But now would be the time to dissappear." Says the man
through the mirror "your concern is endearing. But no need I
thought of everything." The building suddenly turns to ice as a
grinning captain cold stands on the roof "I don't think so."
So the rogues are at war with cold, there's a Train full of
innocent people stuck In the mirror world, and the city thinks I
attacked the man dying in my arms, it can only get better frim

Attention all available units we have shots fired at Hub city
first national"
"Freeze!" 'You first." A cold gun fires freezing everyone in its
path as the other rogues grab the remaining duffle bags of cash.
Its easy to look at this picture and say the rogues are a bunch
of "Bad Guys." Lets be honest... What were doing isn't
technically illegal. But here's the thing, we live in the
greatest country in the world, the land of opportunity right? A
place where every man has the right to earn a living the best
way he knows how. Is it our fault that for us, the best way is
thieving and robbing? You can blame our parents, or society. Or
whoever you want. Don't matter, what we are a bunch of hard
working regular joes trying to make our way in the world.
Believe it or not we abide by a set of rules, three simple ones.
Number one. We don't kill unless its necessary. These cops,
they're just doing their jobs the best way they know how.
Number two. We don't go near drugs, not to say we don't have our
vices. Its just that drugs always lead back to violating rule
number one.
And Number three. Its all about the score, Three very simple
rules we stick to. There's gotta be honor in that.
A blur runs past all the frozen cops making them thaw out "Come
on guys. How many times are we gonna have to do this dance?" His
punch hits me near the speed of sound, shoulda broke my jaw but

can find a match, or at least someone related." "As strange as

ceremony. As the face off between police and the gang of
supervillans that call themselves the Rogues, we are getting
reports that Darwin Elias has been seriously injured. We don't
have confirmation. But it looks like Elias was stabbed by the
Streak himself." "He he he said... Hed help me get home." "You
know him?" "Wait!" turbine jumps up and grabs her hand 'Let go
of me they may need my help." "You don't understand. Its all
coming back. I remember who you are Patty and I can tell you
where Donovin Craig is!"
How did this get so out of hand so fast? First things first ive
got to vibrate into Elias and find the shard before it slashes a
major artery... NO... NO.. Hes starting to hemorrhage." Cold
creates an ice wall all around the perimeter "Sorry cops, this
is a private party." Binshouh and Jessie Quick run up it and
land next to me "Typical, the niggas got to be the plus one to
the white girl. Cold freezes Elias into a block of ice "Finish
your game of operation later, right now I need your head in the
game! The ice will keep him stable." "Works for us." "Good then
its time for kickoff!" The rogues jump down to us "Is this what
its come to lenny? Now youre siding with them!" "The fuck does
that mean? Who you calling a nigga!" Cold kicks me down the
street and throws Binshou. "Worry about yourself sis!" "So much
for honor!" "Relax red, just putting some space, speed don't go
well with cold." We run but we get caught in Golden Gliders hair
"I may be an astral projection. But I can hang onto you for just
long enough.. Take a moment to reflect on that." She throws us
through a window.
We land in the mirror world, nothing but reflections as far as
the eye can see and mirror master standing on the monorail. "Oh
shit, im higher than I thought!" Farenheight and Weather wizard
enter through another mirror. "Three against two? That's hardly
fair." 'For you! Shots fired!" "Things change. We've evolved
into something so much more." Hundreds of mirror clones surround
us "Oh...Well played."
"After everything that's happened. You want to throw traitor ino
the mix by teaming up with red?! You should have stayed out of
it lenny!" Cold punches Glider but it goes through her chest
"Leaving me to die, fine. Taking my team? Not cool. When are you
gonna learn that the rogues aint supposed to be about revenge
and killing? Its all ab out the score." "When are you going to
learn That youre not a rouge anymore!"
This isn't working... These shards are tearing us apart and they
just keep multiplying, gotta find another way.
Binshou gets hit with a fire ball "Still owe ya for the bar."
"Arrgh Get in line." as I get struck by lighting courtesy of
Weather Wizard. Binshou runs to me but gets shut down by Mirror
Master "Not so fast, my house my rules." Binshou falls over
knocked out. "Ya it blows that im stuck in the mirror world but
it has its upsides. In here, I can do whatever I want. You wear
that stupid emblem on your chest with pride. Lets give you more
shine. Turn you into a giant mirror. That I can break." Starting
ftrom my emblem the little mirrors spread al over until only my
mouth isint covered. seconds left I vibrate my molecules,
"You're not the only one... Who can evolve!" I run to mirror
master and hit him "I like that you kept the gun. Im not
nostalgic like you but I get it. Also gives me something to
grab." I open the portal back to the real world and tackle the
other two with a speed blitz at the speed of sound. As the
portal closes Binshous unconscious body rolls out as well as the
monorail. "Bazillion little cuts aside, that went well. An ice
pillar hits me in the face.
"Lights out red.'"I must have hit the ground really hard cause
this is really confusing." "Yeah what's with the side switching
double reverse, not like you to go back on your word." "I owed
him one for saving Lisas life during the blackout. I paid that
by saving Elias I strung him along to take you down." "Not
strong enough to do it yourself?" "Muscle doesn't make you a
leader neither does going the way you were, aiming as high as
you did. Ill admit im proud of you sis, but when you aim as high
as you did you aim for a huge fall. Remember its all about the
score, keep it simple. Its time to add a fourth rule to the
rouges. Rogues are family we stick together and nothing can stop
us. So who's with me? Everyone looks up and sees golden pods
shooting down from the sky and crashing down to the earth.
Suddenly an army of gorillas march the streets with their king
shouting "Streak! Hub city! For crimes against my people,
prepare to be crushed under the heel of King Grodd!"
Uhh somebody wake up the streak now.
