flashpoint paradox

HUB CITY STREAK MUSEUM
My life has gotten slightly complicated, small grenades go off
as I stupidly forget that their there. On top of being the
fastest man alive, i got people from the future, the past, the
present and they all want me dead I don't appreciate that. A
tornado forms on top of my statue as a man in a green and yellow
striped suit says "once again streak you're the bottom, and I
am the top!"
I deal with very powerful villans. More top grenades fly at me
and I throw them back by making my arms a tornado. I look and
see to other people standing there. "Farenheight and mirror
master going to alot of trouble to steal my old junk aren't
you?" Farenheight blasts a wave of fire at me that I run through
and hit him in the side of his head, I spin around mirtor master
until he almost pukes and lay him out. I've become a pro at
this, the top runs down a hall to my right, "exhibits closed
top." I have the fastest wit in the world too.
I run after him and get hit in the face by the big and burly
KGBeast, i get pinned to the wall my plastic explosives and see
that taskmaster is with him. I rip myself off the wall and stick
some of the explosives on KGBeast and taskmaster and I get into
a fight, Ive learned to never be in one place during a fight,
especially against taskmaster don't Want him peaking at how I
can fight. But I get throwe against the wall by a mirror and get
stuck to it thanks to some more plastic explosives.
"The gangs all here." "And I thought you forgot about us when
you sent us off to prsion." Says Farenheight. "So this is about
revenge?" "Not really this is a job." Says taskmaster. "Really
who would higher you? No offence." "That's a good point streak,
i knew using these morons would put you off your guard." The
blur stops running and the man in yelloe, the reverse streak
appers in front of me. "Hey!" The top yells, "they're motivated
by greed, lacking commitment an absoulte fcous." "To kill me."
"To erase you. I'm going to drop your ego on top of your head,
along with 10 square blocks of Hub city." "Wait what this was
not the plan." Says KGBeast "don't worry I already brought the
bombs. He presses the button on his suit and all the other
peoples belts start to blink. "What is this!" Mirror master asks
"something I attached to your belts as I made my entrance, but I
wouldn't unbuckle. That would just set them off." "It's me you
want mountcasle, no need to kill anyone else." "No I don't but I
choose to, knowing that it will make your last moments pure
agony." I start to move as fast as I can "there's no point, the
adhesive will never liqufiy no matter how fast you move." "I'm
counting on that." I manag to throw a chunk of it at reverse
streak sticking him to a wall opposite me. "Now you have no
choice, deactivate the bombs or we all die." "Very well, if it
means destroying your golden throne in history linking your name
to the cities darkest hour then my life is a small price to
pay."
That was not the answer I was expecting.

Suddey the glass breaks open and owlman breaks through the
ceiling.
"I agree your lives aren't worth much." Superman follows him
"but streaks life is." The wall melts and blanturn, batman, and
cyborg break in as well "you called them!" Shouts the reverse
streak, "you got your posse I got mine." The streak cooly says."
"Clearly you should never do this stuff without me. You end up
with crap all over yourself." Says the Blanturn "focus Bl,
bombs?" "It's future tech, difficult to disarm without setting
off." Says batman. Wonder woman undoes her lasso and puts it
around reverse streak "how do we shut off thsee charges?"
"Ugggh. You canr, we will all be dead shortly, the truth hurts
dosent it?" "Were oUT of options. Each of you take one of them
as far away from Hub city as you can." Says the streak "well try
to disarm them. Once isolated. "
Each member of the justice league begins to work. Batman
attempts to disarm it in space with blanturn, superman attempts
to freeze the bomb itself, cyborg tries to hack the device. And
aquaman, throws the top into the ocean. "Aren't you gonna do
something!" "I am, I have a million microbes eating the bombs
wiring."

"You may have minamized the destruction but the final bomb will
still turn your ego into your own tomb." I move my hands back
and forth. "What are you doing? You can't escape, you can't
reach the bomb your going to die." "You may have my powers Chip,
but you have zero imagination." I throw the ball of energy I
created at the bombomb on his suit causing it to short wire.
Looks like 25th century tech is pretty delicate."
"I've notified star labs, they'll have a nice cozy cell for you.
I understand the food is not great there." "Enjoy your petty
little victory, but no matter how fast you run you can't save
everyone, not the ones that matter to you." Suddenly everyone's
communicators go off "Emergency Doomsday has escaped all members
meet at the watchtower immediately!" I rush towards the
teleporter.
like I said, my life is pretty complicated.

I rush back to earth, seeing the grey monster, i also see what
looks like the Streak... as a kid... whatever, bigger fish to
fry. I dive bomb Doomsday. Instead of the expected knock down,
I was knocked off my gliders. The kid pulled out a staff and
started swinging it. Causing purple blasts to hit Doomsday.
Unfortunately, Doomsday just charged through the blasts and
punched the kid square in the jaw.
"Ahhhhhhh!" The kid shouts as he hits the ground unconscious.
That didnt take long, poor mini-streak. Anyway i notice that
this monster is rushing toward me. I summon a train construct.
He stops running and grabs the construct, stopping it quite
literally in its tracks. He then picks up the construct and
throws it at me. It fades just before it hits thank god.
Doomsday says, "You think you can beat me, whelp. Youre all
alone." I angrily respond, "Whether i can or not I won't give
up!" He rushes me once again and I summon my signature machine
gun constructs. He takes some obvious damage but keeps moving.
He gets too close and grabs my head with one hand. He picks me
up by the head and starts squeezing. I feel my skull cracking.
I summon my guns shooting. "I guess i could have some use of
you." I feel sharp pains in my back. Its like a dozen giant
needles pushing into my back. The worst part is that the pain
started from the inside of my body. "Augh!!!" He drops me and
i write on the ground in pain. Now if you survive I'll let you
serve me. He lifts his fist and then throws it straight down
toward my face. I dont feel any pain, i just see a bright
light...

HUB CITY POLICE STATION
"Craig Wake up!" I look up from my desk and the nearby drool
puddle and look at the TV not listening to what my captain is
the war betwen the xmen and the radical terrorists known as the
avengers has taken a toll on the world once again as the death
toll climbs to the high thousands the world is flung into a
state of unease. The avengers belive the earth belongs to the
humans and are willing to die for their belifs. In other news
presidentry chip mountcasle has become the most popular
president in history with a 99 percent approval raiting., while
delevega industries has officially declared bankruptcy this
means that'"
"Ha avengers what a bunch of ****s, uh ya sure sir I'll get that
done." I clock out early and walk outside of the Hub city police
department trippinf down the stairs, when i get up walk over to
a stand and a man sits behind the stand "come one come all!
Easiest game in town pick the cup and win money." "I walk up to
him and ask "why don't you lift all the cups now." I show him my
badge and he slowly does it "no." "Excuse me?" "No." He then
holds his head as purple rags filled with chloroform hit
everyone in the face as I fall I feel my watch being lifted.
I wake up several hours later, and fill my reports and I feel a
hand on my sholder, i look up and see a familiar face, hi mom.

I wake up in a field. I dont see mini streak anywhere. I dont
have much te to think about it though because a familiar pain
shoots through my back again. "Augh!!!! Shit! Fuck! Pain!
Fuck!" I sit down and let myself get used to the pain,
relentlessly screaming out obscenities. About 30 minutes later,
I stood up. Barely. I summoned my gliders and blasted off
toward Metropolis. I call the streak on my phone and mutter out
a painful and pitiful, "Hello?"

"Wait, donovin are you serious wait a minute." The call ends, of
course. I walk down the street and I see a news report about all
the crime and then, the avengers are a terrorist group? Mutants
the supreme race? What the hell I happening! I need to find
information but where? The communicator that's not working tells
me that there Is no justice league. The pain on my back
increases and the crystals come out a little more. There's only
one place on earth that has a catalogue on earths events. Time
to pay a visit to the bird sanctuary.
