The reminds of the CADMUS building are bloody swaths of corpses
and raging fires, a giant hole through titanium walls to the
city below show that something wanted out.
[SAN VOCERRO] the volcano spews cloud of ash miles into the air
as heroes try to finish the evacuation, Owlman runs after a car
and throws to children into the back of it to probably they're
parents. And cole is letting people onto SHEILD transport jets,
as Wonder Woman pushes a boulder out of the way to allow more
civilians access binshouh runs up to her "our radios ain't
working for shit I'm spending half of te time running messages!
I'm gonna start charging a nickel per letter." "It's the
electromagnetic interference from the volcano, Alex how's it
going in there?" "Your dropping in and out, it depends where I
am." Alex is making underground tunnels beneath the volcano
allowing lava to follow him. "I'm trying to ease the pressure
off the volcano if I dig some tunnels out of the main core maybe
I can stop the eruption before it starts." He breaks through to
a chamber as the bottom quickly fills with lava. "When wil you
be able to tell if its working?" " hard to say, I could jut as
easily set it off so I have to go slow. Just get everyone
clear." An eruption is heared and the roof caves in, through the
dust stands PARIAH "Alex! I'm here to kill you is this a bad
time?"
PARIAH lunges at Alex and grabs him sending both men through
walls and landing in the lava. He begins punching Alex but he
kicks him in the chest sending him flying back, PARIAH picks up
a boulder and chucks it at him, he grabs Alex and punches him
again, and again, and again. Alex headbutts him and throw him
off "you know last time I saw you you were doing a Japanese
impression circa 1940s." "I'm not here to talk I'm here to kill
you." "Why!" "You'll get in the way if I don't." He tackles
Alex.
[WHATS LEFT OF CADMUS HQ]
"GPS puts the two on San Vaquerro island. I love a well
conditioned soldier!" "And what will your soldier do after he's
consumed ZEUES? We can allow him to be lose!" "But how am I
supposed to?" "I don't care get it done!" He picks up the phone
"this is Eiling, authorization FIREWALL."
[SAN VAQUERRO ISLAND]
Wonder Woman and Binshou continue to try as get as many people
off the island as possible "Alex give me an update." "Uhhhh
something's come up. And just keep doing what your doing." Alex
jumps up an elbows PARIAH in the eye and stages him into the
lava. "AHHHH!" "Where are you?! Ill come help!" "No I can handle
this!"
[WATCHTOWER] Batman and Martian manhunter overook the
evacuation, "another transport ship just landed on the mainland,
they're over half done." Suddenly an alert pops up "I don't
believe it. It's a nuclear mise headed straight for San
vaquero." " and from the spectrograph it's warhead is alligbed
with WHITELIGHT! Can we hit it from up here?" " no it's moving
to fast, but who fired it?"
Wallers phone rings from underneath her desk, she presses a
button on he computer and picks it up. "Mr. President." "Call
off the missle!" "How did you get this" "the missile headed fr
San vaquero! If anyone dies today I'm coming for you." "Do what
you have to and so will I." She hangs up.
"She diddint know." "Captain atoms on his way from California."
"His speed is under Mach 2 hell never reach it in time." Batman
runs out of the room and to the hangar.
[CADMUS] "what were you thinking! Your going to kill everybody
on that island!" "We has to sanction ARES I'm killing the worlds
deadliest disease and we were trying to stop drug traffic
through San vaquero or years." "Call it off!" "Anti abort
safety's have already engaged, I Couldint stop it even if I
wanted to."
"Batman your going to fast." "If I let the earths gravity boost
me ill reach intercept in seconds." "If you don't burn on
reentry!" Batmans ship jumps from space and flys behind the
missle.
An explosion occurs out the side of the volcano and the two
batters men are shot out of it lava following suit. Yet hit the
ground with a thud, and PARIAH lands feet first on Alexes head.
He jumps behind and throws him to the tree line.
Th two heroes are almost done evacuating the civilians when
Martian manhunter contacts Wonder Woman. "Can you here me?
There's a nuclearzjzjNsdjxbs." "Say again?" The radio cuts out
and white noise fills it. She looks up and sees te volcano about
to erupt. "Binshou get everyone out I'm going to find Alex."
"But" "DO IT NOW!"
Batman fires to missiles but they are blown away when they get
close. "The missiles armed with magnetic repulors." He gives the
ship an opposing charge and launches it towards the missle, it
attaches and he drags it back to sea and hits the eject button.
PARIAH sees the fallout from the bomb. "Uhuhha you can't beat me
the same way twice." "Then I guess I need a bigger explosion."
He punches him and throws him into the exploding volcano, and
before te lava reache him he is picked up by Wonder Woman.
[WATCHTOWER] Alex walks into batmans room in the recovery wing.
"Guess you'll do anything to avoid monitor duty." "You diddint
find the body did you?" "No he just disappeared." "Spoken like
someone who wanted him to get lose." "What? Come on." " two
people given life by this virus. Even if you killed his mother
you still feel a connection to him don't you, after all he is
technically your brother. CADMUS is right to be scared if either
one of you tried anything the human race wouldint stand a
chance." "That wouldint happen." "Why not! What if one day you
feel humanity dosent deserve freedom? Or what if this thing come
back again and with a plan?" "We'll I'm sure your already
thinking of a plan." "You don't get to joke! Not today, I just
took a bullet for you!" "For what's it worth..thanks, now try to
get some rest."
