[DECEMEBER 12 NEW YORK] 13 days left only 13 days until the best
day of the year! I mean not for Jews but everyone else amazing.
I'm not a nice person 11/12 months of the year but goddamn I
love Christmas. As I run down the street new york seemingly
caked in a white blanket nd it's still snowing its perfect.
Children frolicking without a care in the world a snowball hits
me as I run normally of stop an probably scold him but its
Christmas. I see a nice mom an pop store near queens I stop in
my tracks. Well I might as well get Dana a little early
Christmas present, for Christmas I got Dana something she's
dreamed since she was little Spider-Man said he has some
contacts in the daily bugle,obviously dosnet trust me enough to
admit that he's Peter Parker but still. He managed to get Dana a
reporting gig there I'm going to give her the badge on Christmas
can't wait to see her face. As I walk in and look at what the
store ha it has a welcoming feeling it has an old timey feel,all
wood and a fire plce in the back but I can hear it. An elderly
man smiles as I walk in"welcome sir how are you doing this fine
day?" "Perfect." An I wasint lying the man seems to be early 70s
but can still move as if he was a young man,he has reading
eyeglasses on and overalls. As I look around another man walks
up to the man"this is a stick up put your hands up!" Seriously?"
"What the hell is wrong with you!" I tell as I walk up to him
"hey put your hands up and stop moving!" "What kind of man are
you tat you rob a goddamn store during Christmas!" He firs a
round in my chest. I grab him and bring him outside and slit his
throat with one clawed finger,the snow turns crimson. I walk
back in"sorry about that man I diddint want to ruin the way
you're store looks,I'll take some flowers though." "You're Alex
mercer?" "Yep so how much will it be?" The man seems
worried"take it its on the house just..don't hurt me." I sigh
"alright merry Christmas." He dosent answer.
My phone rings as I rush back "hey how's my favorite little
sister?" "Alex I have something to tell you." She also seems
worried."what's up?" "You know how you asked me to keep an eye
out for Karen Parker?" "Ya." "We'll I found her he bought some
supplies with a credit card and she's..in the Bronx in a
makeshift lab." "Anything else?" "BLACKWATCH might be
there...what are you gonna do?"
[KAREN PARKER'S LAB] Karen looks at a sample of the REDLIGHT
virus she still looks as good as last time I saw her. Her blond
hair in a mess I don't know how long she's been up. The door
breaks open and the alarm goes off "oh god it's Alex he found
me!" A BLACKWATCH agent walk up to her "mrs Parker we need to go
now!" They go into an elevator and Karen has a panic attack."oh
god if he gets to me....where the hell is he?!" The BLACKWATCH
agent morphs and I whisper into her ear"closer than you expect."
The snow fall has become a full fledged storm now can barley
see, the People walk around as if nothing just happened. I just
want to go home.
[DANA MERCERS APARTMENT] "well how did it go?" "I want to leave
the city...you know for the holidays,anywhere we can go?" "Well
you can always go with me to my friends condo in Gotham." "Since
when in the hell do you go to Gotham!" "Seriously Alex? I go
every year...for 6 years,I ask you to go every time." "Oh guess
it wasint hat important before." "So do you want to go?" "Sure
why not." " oh great I need a holly jolly pain in my ass."
