I know what you mean. The best way to set fixed senate meetings
is to set a timely schedule on the New Republica world factbook.
That is a number 1 priority for my campaign.

Yes, two, one is to make a schedule for everything that happens
on the world factbook. That would make everything easier and
simpler to understand. Also, that there should be a part of the
forum that deals with peoples problems and ideas.

A set meeting time is crucial to completing senatorial business.
This being said, I can understand that senators may have other
business at hand and might not be able to meet at the same time.
I believe that what will be best is for senators to use the
forum and create a new topic for them to use for internal
discussions over the course of a day. Email reminders of the
crucial business at hand should be used to make sure that the
senators can attend the discussion at least at some point in the
day. The actual days the senators meet should be decided by
them, as they would know their schedule best.

My overall goal for the regional government is to make the
proceedings of the government more accessible. I want to publish
the times of the meetings between senators to the public of New
Republica. I also want to reform the way the forum is used. I
want to make the forum a more integral part of our governmental
proceedings.

Mithea, I understand your opinion on this topic, but I think you
misunderstand what I mean. I dont believe that a set TIME OF DAY
is the proper way to conduct business for New Republica when it
is so possible for one of our senators to be absent during the
meetings. I believe that the best way for our senate to meet is
for their to be a scheduled DAY ever so often (weekly, perhaps)
when the senators meet to discuss and vote on the topics at
hand. These meeting times will be announced ahead of time and
posted on the World Factbook for members to get the latest
information on the proceedings of the senate.

I do not think that amendments solve the problem. When you make
amendments that usually causes more problems because people
break those amendments and then they go to court. What should
happen is that people should discuss there problems calmly and
not try to blame others. For example, in USA's case of election
fraud everyone kept blaming each other and Remnants and USA
started threatening war. War never solves anything it just
creates more tension between nations.

I believe that the Constitution should receive few amendments,
and that changes in regional law should come from bills that
become acts of congress. Remember, the American system uses a
static constitution that establishes governmental operations and
the rights and liberties of the people. The British system uses
an unwritten constitution that is only formalized by written
laws created by acts of the House of Commons.
That being said, I believe that two amendments to the
Constitution that should be passed involve a reform to the
election procedure and the creation of a formal election law.
The second Constitutional change would be an amendment to the
sizes of the branches of government, after a sizable growth in
New Republica's population.
