       Vladivostak's Senatorial Candidate Alik Semenov

       A message from the newly confirmed nominee, Senatorial Candidate
       Alik Semenov of Vladivostak:
       "I am honored to have been chosen by my fellow commonwealth
       colleagues and President Kolesnikov to represent my great nation
       as candidate for Senator of New Republica. If elected as
       senator, my first priority will indeed be to voice the opinions
       of Vladivostak. However, my endeavor will also be to represent
       the interests of member nations of New Republica to the Regional
       Government. I will make sure that any new proposals by a member
       nation is given a fair chance so that those proposals that are
       in the best interest of The New Republica are presented on the
       Senate floor. I will ensure close and consistent relations with
       fellow senators and regional leadership to strengthen the
       resolve and due process of the government.
       Elect me and I will ensure every voice has a fair chance to be
       heard. Thank you and may prosperity fall upon our great region."

       After looking over recent events, our department has found what
       might have been the cause for the "fraud accusations". As
       candidate Alik Semenov [Vladivostak], whose position is now
       pending in front of our Ministry of Justice, was contacting
       fellow region member nations to call for support and votes for
       Valdivostak in the Senatorial election. In a few of these cases,
       the messages were sent to incumbent member nations of the New
       Republica government. It is apparent now, despite not being
       stated in any New Republica published legislation, that this is
       "fraudulent" and illegal as these incumbent member nations must
       remain impartial during election and cannot vote. If the
       Commonwealth of Vladivostak and its Office of the Secretary of
       State had known this ahead of time we would not have contacted
       the incumbent New Republica government officials.
       We ask that the Supreme Court and the executive office address
       this issue as soon as they are able. This lack of published
       legislation should be addressed before the Supreme Court trial.
       Be advised, copies of this statement will be sent to Justice and
       Executive officials as well.
       The Commonwealth of Vladivostak leadership will stay in close
       contact with New Republica on this very tumultuous situation. We
       hope to resolve this honorably and respectfully.
