Sejun/Loren pt1

I was standing in some guy's or girl's house. I wasn't sure
who's party this was exactly. My friends had dragged me here.
They wanted me to go out more. I loved them for it but I wasn't
really the party type of guy. They had made me come here instead
of that I went alone to see a musical I had planned to see. (han
är så oskyldig på nått sätt) I had no idea where they were
either. Probably drinking, possibly smoking and hitting on some
girls. Here I was standing around alone. No one paid attention
to me. I was the dorky Christian guy anyway so. I looked around
and spotted this blonde girl. Somewhat familiar. But I wasn't
sure from where, school probably but still... did I dare walk
over and talk? She was alone and all... but... no...or? Not yet.
Someone stuffed a plastic cup with beer in my hand and walked
away. I didn't want to drink this.

I looked around some. I was here with my friends. I guess we
weren't like the best friends, but we were decently close. We
hung out sometimes, but not in my place. I tried to keep myself
at a distance somewhat, not too much obviously, I still needed
people around me, but my best friend was probably Bridget.
Bridget was my next door neighbor. She was a huge fan of David.
Plus, she'd never passed judgment on me. I didn't know if she
had kids of her own or not, she didn't spoke of them anyway. I
didn't speak about my family either. But we were there, we spent
time together, she watched David whenever she could. I didn't
like having him away from me too much, but I knew it was good
for him. Oh well. I glanced around after my friend again. She
had promised me we weren't going so she could hit on her crush,
but I totally realized we were here so she could hit on her
crush. I sighed as I bit my lip some, holding a red cup myself
as I suddenly felt watched and I looked up to meet your gaze and
my eyes broaden some. You were gorgeous? Absolutely gorgeous?
And fancy, but not in an up-tight way. I bit my lip some though,
should I talk to you? I probably shouldn't I thought, but my
legs were already carrying me towards you and I smiled some at
you.
"Hi!" It was nice it was hot in here, because I'd been freezing
my lil butt off on the way over.

I looked over my shoulder to see who you were talking to behind
me, but then realized you were talking to me.
"Eh hi..." wow you were pretty in your red dress. Talking to
girls weren't my strongest attribute. "Great party right?" I
said even I didn't much think so. I spotted a guy drinking beer
upside down directly from a keg. This wasn't my scene.
"I'm Sejun," my parents had let me keep my Korean name when they
adopted me, wanted me to keep some of my Korean heritage.
"We go to school together right?" no the same class though. I
would have remembered you. Only girls I talked to were the once
in church or if I had an assignment with someone. But chitchat?
That wasn't something I was good at.

I smiled at you some and I nodded some before I chuckled.
"Great party?" I asked. "Yeah, I wouldn't... stretch it that
far. Seems like we were both ditched and all" I smiled some as I
watched you. I followed your eyes then and I raised my eyebrows.
"Yeah, such a great party" I stated as I sighed some. "I was
actually thinking about perhaps heading home, but at the same
time I spent this time getting ready so it'd be lame to just
leave too" I stated. I didn't know why I was oversharing. I
never overshared, but something with you made me nervous.
"Sejun? Cool name. It's not american, is it?" I asked. "I'm
Loren, so uh, yeah, pretty American" I stated with a little
smile. My name sounded like it belonged to a grandma, but yours
was cool.
"We do?" I asked. "I mean, yeah, probably" I stated but I
somehow knew that if I'd seen you I would have remembered you.
But I sort of tried to not get too much attention in school so.
"So, enjoying yourself then?"

"Yeah I don't know where my friends are," I admitted. "Yeah it's
not a great party. I'm not a party type of guy," that probably
sounded lame. But why try and make myself out to be someone that
wasn't me.
"Loren's a pretty name," I said and smiled at you and felt
somewhat hot in the face. "I'm adopted from Korea, my parents
let me keep my Korean name," my father was a minister at our
local church.
"I'm enjoying myself more now... but yeah this party... do you
want to leave?" I asked to my own surprise. "With me that is," I
didn't mean going home and screw I just meant getting out of
here. Had I just asked a girl to go somewhere with me? What the?
"We can go down to the docks and get ice cream and just... not
be here..." the music sucked too.

I watched you and I smiled some. Yeah, parties were interesting
things. Sometimes I for sure enjoyed a good party or two,
depending on the crowd. This crowd was just rowdy. I felt a bit
out of place here to be hoenst.
"Thank you. Really? That's cool. I mean, if you think it's cool.
It's not cool if you don't like it, I mean, yeah. But cool" I
stated and I closed my eyes hard a second, cussing myself out.
You were so adorable though, so why was I acting like a cat had
stolen my tongue? "Uh, yeah" I chuckled then.
"Yeah, let's get going" I agreed. Ice cream honestly sounded
like it beat this any time.
"I mean if you want?" I suggested then as I smiled at you.

I grabbed my jacket and put it on then I nodded for you to come
with me. I liked hanging out at the docks, watching the boats
eating ice cream, maybe go for a swim, whatever, not that I was
a good swimmer. In fact water was a bit scary. I still liked it
though.
"You must be a class below me or something?" I wondered. Why
hadn't I noticed you before? You were so beautiful and pretty
and seemed sweet. I wanted to get to know you so I would.
"What's your favorite subject? Myself I'd say English and
history. But if I could I'd just study music," I smiled. I loved
doing music and chit chatting felt easier with you.
"I think they have snow cons at the docks, those are so good,"

I went with you. But then again it was November, and silly me
didn't bring a jacket, because I'd figured I'd be drunk when I
got home and that I'd be indoors mostly. I wrapped my arms
around my chest a bit to keep my warmth as I walked with you and
I smiled some.
"Yeah, I mean, what year are you in?" I asked.
"Oh, favorite subject? Art" I smiled some. "I try to get time in
to paint and draw a bit and post it on Etsy" I chuckled.
"Music?" I asked impressed. "What kind of music are you making?
Or like, playing? Or singing?" I giggled some as I watched you.
"History is fun too, but it's... kind of depressing also, isn't
it?" I asked then. "And English, at least lit, I think is fun" I
stated with a smile.
"A snowcone?" I asked surprised. "I don't think I've ever had
one" I admitted as I smiled at you. Wow, you were really...
beautiful though, weren't you?

I glanced at you.
"Darn it's too cold for a snow cone, what was I thinking?" I
shrugged off my jacket and wrapped it around you instead.
"Let's go for hot mocha, I know a great place," I lit up.
"Drawing? Wow that's great. I want to see some of your work," I
was talking to a girl and it was okay except the snow cone
fiasco.
"I'm (blir det andra året när man är 7?) second year, so you're
a first year right?" I was 17 and I was pretty sure you were 16.
I'd feel like an idiot if went to same class and I hadn't seen
you until tonight. You were gorgeous.
"I compose songs on the piano mostly, write some pop songs,
mostly well Christian songs. I'm from religious family. My dad's
a minister," I started to walk towards the hot mocha place
instead. It was a chilly night. I liked the docks no matter what
time of the year though.
"Oh I also sing in choir," they often made me do solos there
too.

I chuckled some as I watched you.
"Is it? Aw, I wanted to try one" I smiled some as I saw you
shrug your jacket off and wrap it around me and I blinked some.
"Wait, what?" I asked. "Thank you, but... won't you be cold
then?" I asked confused as I held your jacket around me. It had
your body heat in it, plus it smelled amazing, just like you
did. Wow, so cool. I felt all jittery even though I didn't want
to.
(haha jag ba när man är 7?)
"Right, yeah, so you're a year my senior then" I stated as I
smiled at you. "Mocha sounds good too" I stated as I walked with
you, keeping your jacket around me tightly.
"Wow, that's cool" I stated. "I was brought up in a religious
family as well" I stated with a little smile. "A choir? Cool, in
church?" I asked then before I nodded. "You wanna see? I mean
sure, I'll show you sometime" I chuckled. "Don't expect
something grand though" I smiled
